“The best atmosphere of any cat cafe I have visited; rules ensure that the cats are treated well but also does not restrict the experience of visitors. The staff were extremely friendly and allowed us to feed the cats with provided food/ treats. Good coffee too - vegan options for cakes but I did not get the chance to try these.”

“A wonderful local cafe with vegan and veggie options. Even have gluten free available. You can even do takeout whixh it a godsend if like me you never get free time! Even has a little handmade shop section where you can buy some locally made gifts and a book shop/swap system! Very cool!”

“What a lovely find. Been to Penistone today for the first time in years and happened upon this café. Really enjoyed the sandwich & coffee there and brownie I had as takeaway. The staff were very welcoming and helped my elderly father to find the toilet outside somewhere around the back.”

“Absolutely amazing restaurant, especially for those gluten free. It’s not often you visit somewhere where pretty much the whole menu is inclusive to those GF and coeliac. Staff were incredible knowledgable, helpful with choices and the food was delicious. Already planning my next trip back!”

“We recently visited Sheffield and discovered this lovely Taiwanese restaurant, and we're so glad we did! The food here is really delicious and authentic. We tried the fried chicken bento, spicy braised beef brisket, fried tofu, and of course, a classic bubble tea - we loved everything! The food was full of flavor and you can really tell that the owners pour their heart into every dish they make. Plus, the Taiwanese vintage wallpaper inside was such a nice touch. It just reminded me of home. The owner is super friendly and was so helpful especially since we were traveling with our baby. Overall, it was such a wonderful experience at Yum Yum Bites, and we highly recommend it!”

If you want to be sure of gluten free food go on Saturday... phone ahead if you want extra to take home. Wonderful variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes. We'll spiced food to delight your taste buds. As a meat eater I thoroughly enjoyed every dish on our platter.”

“Ordered the sharer for two for delivery, it was fantastic. Loads of different stuff included. All the meat was SO tender, jerk chicken fell off the bone with tons of flavour, mutton curry was just a great comforting mutton curry! Cabbage was soft, dumplings were fluffy and had a nice sweet crust. Happy food. Will order again, thanks guys!”

“After trying various pubs for a Christmas meal with friends we tried Turnip & Thyme this year and everyone was glad we did. The Christmas menu was reasonably priced and the food was fresh, tasty and more than enough. Looking forward to returning, not just for Christmas!”

“Aww wow! Go here! We go to bawtry most Sundays, So we decided to explore the surrounding villages, this place was amazing. We rocked up after serving time, and the chef ( lovely lovely guy) came out and showed us the menus, and was more than happy to cook for us. The food was outstanding! “Went in without any expectation, but came out with a very pleasant surprise. The food is delicious, and as a south east asian, I am actually quite impressed by the authentic Thai flavour. We ordered a veg curry, Pad Thai, and Tom Yum Gai, and they all taste great. The restaurant owner is friendly as well. Truly a hidden gem!”
