“Perfect for a week's stay. Very clean, well furnished, lovely, and quiet at night. I stayed in a studio flat, comfy double bed, flat screen tv with Netflix, etc. Good shower, modern kitchen with all you need to cook with, 2 hobs, oven that can also be used as a grill. The washing machine and dryer are in a separate room, which was handy! Towels provided, nice view from the back. Tea, coffee, milk, sugar available, salt, and pepper too. No microwave, which would've been handy. Apart from this, it was a very good experience.”
“Have been travelling around England staying in many Inn’s about the price point of Qudos. Qudos is head and shoulders the best, tastefully renovated to a high standard, I am very impressed. Even had dinner in the restaurant and it was really good. Would totally recommend.”
“Excellent traditional pub, roaring fires great range of beers and lagers and the food is good to”
“Just had a great visit here. 10 of us including children took our own tents and camped in the main field. A really nice vibe, children playing, adults happy, fairy lights on guy ropes at night and the glow of fire pits after dark made the stay a really good time. You don’t really need to go anywhere else, crazy golf, zip wires, bar, restaurant, shop.”
“We stayed here for the Christmas markets. What a jem of a find. Literally opposite the Cathedral. Fabulous room with lots of little extras that made it feel really special. A great restaurant/bar below which has great waiting staff & a delicious varied menu. I cannot recommend a stay highly enough.”
“Well laid out modern motel like feel. Rooms comfortable and easy to heat. Good selection of beverages including a coffee machine. Excellent addition of a mini fridge and fresh milk. Plenty of free parking and sort drive out of Winchester (15mins) or to walk in about 1hr 30mins. Local bus stop but not very regular times. Generally quiet though could be more noisy in warmer moths if people outside enjoying the pub. Nice inviting bar/restaurant with good variety of food and drinks. Only noticeable down side would be the random lighting the dipped/brightened regularly (owners have looked into it many times with no resolve) and dusting of the floor areas could be improved especially under beds. Overall the place had a good feel and would recommend this place and definitely consider staying again or in another place in the company chain.”
“Great site, well maintained by the wardens. The road noise is definitely worth mentioning but wasn’t a trip ruiner for us. Great location for exploring Winchester.”
“My husband and I stayed over night to see the Christmas Market, the host was very welcoming and helpful. The bed was super cosy and the breakfast was lovely, we would definitely recommend staying here.”
“This pub has real character and is well worth getting to know! It is very much a local pub... But... The locals are really friendly people. It's right on the river but there is a quiet road between the pub and the river. In the summer you can sit out on the pavement and have a drink and still river watch. The prices are really reasonable and there is a good variety of quality drinks available. There is a pool table in the back bar and opportunities to watch sports but this doesn't dominated the character of the pub. Staff are lovely and the pork scratchings are fresh from the local butchers. Great pub!”
“Absolutely fantastic stay, accommodation is fantastic the food is out of the world and the staff especially Sarah, Jess and Megane behind the bar and in the reateraumt are fantastic. I will definitely return. And highly reccomend to all. Well done guys!”
“It's where I teach my Pilates classes on a Thursday morning at The Lodge Retreat onsite. 9.30am and 10.45am Lovely park with great facilities”
“We stayed here after a day out at Paultons Park. It was very close to the park. The location was absolutely perfect. The toilets were clean and well stocked with soap and hand towels. The washing up area even had sponges and washing up liquid. We only stayed 1 night, so we didn't use the shower facilities. We will definitely be returning next time we go to Peppa World.”
“Just nice , had drinks , friendly place coulda woulda stayed longer”
“My husband and I stayed just for one night a couple of weeks ago but would definitely stay again when visiting the New Forest. We mentioned we were celebrating our Golden Wedding Anniversary and were treated to a bottle of wine delivered to our room. The staff were lovely, all very welcoming, Susan was the main lady who was so friendly . By the time we left, it felt like we'd known her for ages. The room was clean and bright . Also noticed it was a dog friendly place to stay. Well recommended.”
“Wow, this was a random find and oh my goodness what a find. Beautiful interior and gorgeous Christmas decorations. We came here for a Sunday roast and were warmly welcomed by the team and the food was stunning. Highly recommend, we will be back”
“Nice selection of drinks. Not crowded for a Friday night. Nice music free pool”
“Absolutely lovely prices and staff, bartender went extra mile to make sure we got the best experience”
“I didn't stay overzicht so i don't know anything about the rooms. I Was there very short for a drink, but i definitely wanna come back when i have more time to stay.”
“Fantastic stay! We stayed at The Grapes for one night before our cruise from Southampton docks and it was amazing. The staff are so friendly that we ended up staying there all day and night! The bed was so comfortable and the price was incredibly reasonable for the area. The location is fantastic on a quiet street lines with bars and restaurants with tables outside which we made use of with the weather. We are already talking about planning another trip to Southampton to stay here again.”
“Needing somewhere to stay pre cruise i was seeking a local accommodation and food so that I had an easy drive on the day of departure. I did not want a international brand hotel but rather something more querky. In the pilgrim inn I found it. From the lovely large bedroom room to the thatched adjacent pub myself and my wife could have wished for nothing better. Friendly staff (special mention for Emily) excellent service great food ( best burger ever says my wife) to a welcoming breakfast. The decor was bright and nicely done. If I'm cruising again just found my go to place.”
“Popped in for a drink after our walk-up Old Winchester Hill, it is right opposite the turning for the historic landmark. It's Lovely pub... It's a big establishment, well decorated and clean... lovely staff and a really nice area. We've eaten here before and it's nice food. Big car park. Outside area at the back. All-round nice pub...”
“Booked here prior to boarding ship and it's location is perfect. They offer cruise parking, at a price and a taxi to the port is not far. Our room was large and comfortable. Large window overlooking the street. Facilities in the room were great. Tea,coffee and use of hairdryer given by reception if needed. We had booked an evening meal and added on breakfast ( I had forgotten to add it at booking) The staff were friendly and allowed us to stay in the hotel until we needed to go to the port to embark. Great find. Little tricky at first to find the entrance as the sign is on the corner of a street that I went down. Drove round the block twice until I saw where to go.”
“My wife and I held our wedding reception at the hotel on Friday and had the best day we could ever have imagined. A massive thank you to all of the staff involved but a special shout out to Maisie. From the minute I checked in the night before my big day I felt instantly at ease with my surroundings and was very well looked after. My room was spotless and very modern and had everything I could have needed inside. Having never previously stayed at the hotel before, I was very keen to make sure that I was able to decorate as I imagined and taste some food before all of my guests. Dinner was divine, breakfast was delicious and everything in between was superb. Thank you The Blue Keys! from Mrs & Mrs B ❤”

“We’re really glad we chose Bournecoast as new landlords - their support has been invaluable. The team are friendly, professional and always keep us in the loop. They take care of everything quickly and efficiently and it gives us peace of mind to know we can rely on them to get things done. We highly recommend Bournecoast to anyone thinking about letting their property.”
“The King's Head was a great find. The staff were amazing. They were extremely helpful in every aspect. The entertainment was great for New Year. The car park was large enough for people enjoying an evening drink/meal and people staying.”
“Excellent excellent excellent, no fault at all, the staff from the beginning to the end were all helpful and happy to help. We booked the hotel ( 4 adult and a child ) for 2 night. We had a faulty safety lock inside our room made a phone call it was fixed immediately. The lady behind the breakfast food counter was very friendly and willing to help, "she kept on asking do I want anything which was nice", in short all the staff were nice and friendly. The hotel it self was very clean and neat, nice gym and spa, there wifi excellent. My highlight of those 2 night for me was the bed, it was clean, smooth and soft, I think my soul left my body dancing sleeping on that bed, best feeling ever. Definitely recommending and will be going back soon”
“Had a very comfortable two day stay at this small and centrally located hotel. Rooms are clean, beds comfy, and bathrooms well appointed. A good selection for breakfast with a semi buffet and a la carte dishes included. Lovely large courtyard at the back to sit outside during the summer months. Service was very friendly and accommodating. Elsa in particular at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful.”
“Stayed for a short break to visit the Cathedral, Christmas Market and shops. The Westgate’s central position was ideal for access to everything. Room very comfortable. Food excellent and all the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Would highly recommend and hope to be able to return one day soon. Thankyou”
“Excellent stay friendly staff the food was good too especially breakfast will definitely go back”
