Dine in in Stoke

“A Five-Star Fiery Treat in Stoke-on-Trent! I recently had a wonderful dining experience at the Nando's located in the Intu Potteries shopping centre in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, and I highly recommend it to everyone! The food, as always, was absolutely great. The chicken was perfectly cooked and tender, and the Peri-Peri flavour was spot on—truly the tasty, satisfying meal you expect from Nando's. It's the perfect spot for a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner. However, what truly made this visit exceptional was the staff. The entire team was friendly, efficient, and clearly dedicated to providing excellent service. I must give a special, massive thank you to a lady named Hannah. She went above and beyond to ensure my table was looked after, serving with a genuine smile and a level of professionalism that is rare to find, and then supported the staff in the cooking area. Her energy and helpfulness made the whole experience run smoothly. Thanks to the great food and the truly excellent staff, especially Hannah, this Nando's location is a winner. “Popped in for a traditional pint of ale while over from Australia visiting my father in hospital. The old style interior added a rustic charm, typical of what you hope to find in an English pub. Didn't eat while I was there but the menu on the table looked like a good selection of pub classics at reasonable prices. Next time I'm in the area I'm definitely going back to the Windmill.”

“I had the carvery for the first time yesterday. Can honestly say it was lovely, the meat was all cooked beautifully and so were the trimmings. Not small portions either. The young lady who served us on the bar, Sammie was so friendly and polite she's hands down a credit to the place and the chefs serving food were very polite aswell. The whole building is lovely and clean. I personally love the displays of all the stokie pottery.. being a stokie myself it makes me super proud to see it out on display with pride. Nice sized beer/smoking garden and a small play area indoors for children. Not too pricey and quality of the food is fantastic. They sell stunning cakes aswell which are to die for. Definitely worth trying if you haven't already you won't be disappointed. Can't recommend here enough.”

“After being left hanging at Longton Argos who clearly just didn't want to help, we drove to Stoke Sainsburys Argos. A man named Chris spoke to us, gave us advice on how to get an online purchase, then attempted to order our item for us in store. He arranged for the item to be delivered to my house saving me the hassle of trying to do online stuff. Very grateful to him, I believe he went above and beyond! He certainly didnt reflect his Grumpy Elf tshirt! Longton staff, shame on you.”

“Ordered our sofas from this store and we had the great pleasure of being served by James. James was absolutely incredible & his knowledge of every range, what the sofas are made out of and the aftercare is commendable. James was super patient with us (we were in the store for nearly 5 hours) he drew designs & our living room layout on his iPad to really help us visualise what the sofas would look like. James also has an incredible ability of mental maths so really helped us to understand how the sofas would fit & how much room we’d have either side etc. He also wasn’t afraid to say his opinion about weather he thought the sizing would look right (as we were thinking about a bigger sofa) - it’s a good job we listened to James as his expertise was right and a bigger one wouldn’t have fitted right. He also explained how in his spare time he researches ‘what’s on trend’ which actually have us the great idea of using our footstool (from the Oscar range) as a display table too. James is really passionate about what he does & made our experience so much easier! We now have two lovely sofas & a footstool from the Oscar range that fits perfectly into our living room and we’re very pleased! A huge thank you- James”

“How you have a 3.8 il never know because omg your food is outstanding hour wait but probably due to traffic had a menu through the door plus free pizza thankyou so much!!!!! 5 stars definitely”

“Went to the store yesterday with an issue and lady at the till was very polite and helpful she was breath of fresh air. The lady at the till had to go speak to the manager (Anna) with my case and the pair went extra mile and was very pleased with the service I received. Keep up the good work ladies and you are true asset to Argos. Its a shame I can not remember the ladies name at payment counter. Visited the store about 5pm if it helps.”

“Ordered about 2 mins before they closed online and when I got there the guy was literally just waiting for me all packed up, lights off and ready to go home. And he still smiled and was friendly when he gave me my pizza. How decent is that. I would have been fuming with me.”

“The place was very quiet. But given it was 7 pm on a Thursday evening that is not surprising. The young lady that served us was pleasant, attentive and informative regarding the food. The meal was inexpensive but rich in flavour and taste. There is no car park on site but you can park (for £1 in the evening) opposite the entrance to Spode .”

“Calzone was 10/10. Chips could do with some improvement but they were fine overall and we did order late. Still 5 stars because of the Calzone. Fast delivery also.”
