“Daughter recommended this place so took her and my wife. They have a pretty good menu that caters for vegetarians as well, and the food did look very good. My daughter went for the curry platter, this was huge. My wife had the sizzling halloumi with sweet chilli sauce and I had the Barbacoa beef steak; these last two both came on the sizzling platters and they really were sizzling. The food was excellent. Really nicely presented and perfectly cooked. Way beyond my expectations. We also each had a sundae for dessert; salted caramel profiterole with chocolate ice cream, the Cadbury lover with chocolate ice cream and the lemon meringue. All came in large sundae glasses with loads of sauce and cream. Delightful meal, would recommend and will visit again.”

“We stayed locally in Uttoxeter and the hotel had no restaurant. So we tried the local Dapple Grey pub. We loved it so much we came back the following night. Yes the food is good quality standard pub fare, yes the beer is stored well, the Pedigree was lush. But what really made it 5 stars was the staff, especially Ant. They are sooo friendly and despite being a Marston chain pub it had the feel and vibe of really friendly local independent pub. You can tell who the regulars are as they are greeted so nicely. Great atmosphere and the kids loved it!”

“Had a fantastic day at this Spa. My wife and I were both booked in for a spa day with treatments. The ladies who dealt with us were Amazing!!! I had Demi and she was absolutely outstanding, very friendly, listened to my needs and was caring throughout my treatment!! I would recommend having treatments with her again to anybody!! The rest of the facilities were good and keep clean throughout our visit by the friend cleaning team!!! Highly recommended!!!”

“Came for a 'posh' fish and chips with my sister on Saturday afternoon. It was a Virgin gift voucher from my friends. We were seated straight away and all the staff were really lovely. Modern decor. They were so professional and respectful throughout. The food was lovely, and everyone commented on how nice it was. The venue itself was perfect for the occasion, and I genuinely can’t fault a single thing. My only suggestion is that management should invest more in advertising, as we found this place purely by chance – and I’m so glad we did. When I first searched online for wake venues, all that came up were really expensive places that didn’t feel right. This venue only appeared when I tried searching for pubs and hoped they might host private events. Thank you, Dan and the team, for making an extremely difficult day a little easier. I will definitely be recommending you to others.”
