βHow anyone can leave a negative review I donβt know. If you phone at 8am/12pm you get a same day appointment. The girls on reception are lovely, the doctors are fab. Never had an issue.β
βWithin a week of our doctor sending an email to the Consultant at RSH we had a message from the receptionist saying a referral had been accepted. Less than an hour after that we had a call from the hospital asking if we could make the appointment for the following Monday. all this has happened in the past two weeks (23rd October to 3rd November 2025) I cannot begin to tell you how well it all went. Within a few minutes of checking in my husband was called through for the first stage of the appointment we then went onto the 2nd Stage and 3rd Stage. It was wonderful the staff were efficient polite kind thoughtful and explained everything to us.We are very grateful for everything and everyone we dealt with. We applaud the NHS and it's about time the staff in our great hospitals especially in Shropshire were praised for their hardworking staff in all departments. Many many thanks to the Urology for there kindness shown to us and especially my husband many thanks to RSH for great staff and a lovely hospitalβ
βI've had cause to visit the surgery a few times recently. Never had trouble getting an appointment. Very happy with the help I've received. The other day I used the new online triage system had a call back within an hour and an appointment an hour later. Very good.β
βI recently visited the dental clinic and had a great experience with Dr. Selvaraj, Nurse Nicky, and the receptionists. From the moment I arrived, the receptionists were friendly and efficient, making the check-in process smooth. Dr. Selvaraj was professional and thorough, explaining each step of the procedure, which helped alleviate any anxiety I had. Nurse Nicky was attentive and compassionate, ensuring I was comfortable throughout my visit. The entire teamβs dedication to patient care made my dental appointment a positive experience. I highly recommend this clinic for anyone in need of quality dental care.β
βNot easy for me to make appointments for work reasons, but regardless, the surgery and staff are never anything but friendly and helpful and will go above and beyond. At a time when services are stretched, I try, like many of us, to seek help from the chemist, this isnβt always viable and the surgery have always offered appointments when available and gone above and beyond. Their support is appreciated and I would recommend their surgery. Thanks againβ
βThank you to Penny and the other nurse that helped in the room yesterday. (The lady who went to Cyprus) sorry canβt remember her name! They both was so incredibly lovely! Caring, calm. I could not have asked for better! I had the copper coil fitted else where a few years ago (had to have it taken out a few months ago) and it was horrible experience, very painful, brought me to tears, yesterday I had the hormonal coil fitted, which was no where near as painful as the last coil. No tears. They was so helpful in keeping me distracted and calm. I am forever thankful! I will be using this clinic from now on. All the staff here are lovely, the reception lady was great! To the nurse that told me the correct way to the exit! The gentleman man that picked my badge up that I dropped. You are all lovely! Thank you so much!β
βBig Health Center caters for multiple GP's, also has optician and chemist on site. Lift for other floors is available with wheelchair access. Ample free parking.β
βWhat can I say only good things. Staff Dr's advice brilliant Keep up the good work thanks once again for helping me get through my rough journeyβ
βRecently had such a positive experience with one of the doctors at the surgery. Dr Nadia Ahmad is a fantastic GP. She's caring, smart, and listens well. She made me feel comfortable and valued. A real asset to the surgery. I appreciate her extra effort and hope she stays. Thank you, Dr. Ahmad, for your great care!β
βI had to attend for a complex IUD removal, and was extremely anxious after a previous bad experience elsewhere many years ago. I arrived half an hour early but was called in immediately, which really helped as it meant I did not have to sit in the waiting room becoming more agitated. The consultant and nurse who performed the procedure were nothing short of fantastic, they did absolutely everything they could to put me at ease and reassure me (I was a very nervous and jittery patient) and make the whole thing as easy and painless as possible. They made me feel completely in control and empowered, and were kind and considerate but still professional. It was the best experience I could have hoped for in the circumstances.β

βAttended the surgery for an ECG.was seen by an excellent nurse called Katie who tried to put me at my ease as I was very anxious. She also spent time talking to me after the test. Thank you Katie. Also saw Doctor Mavi after who was very thorough ,put me at ease and explained the results of the test. An excellent Doctor..β
βAs most people only leave reviews if they've had a bad service, I just wanted to add a bit of balance to all the 1* reviews on here. Ive been at Bushbury Health centre for years now, always had good service and got to see doctors in a reasonable time (mostly same day). Compared to the previous doctors I was at they are certainly worth the 5 stars!β
βI would like to thank a nurse named Katie who worked in AE on Saturday the 3rd of January. Katie went beyond and above in helping me and my son what a brillant nurse Once again Thank you Katie.β
βGood Doctors surgery, nice staff and has a physiotherapist that works there several times a week to assist with your recovery of medical ailments. He can give you an app to guide to do any physio exercises correctly.β
βHad our COVID jab this morning (30th) and the young student nurse who gave me the jab was very professional and gentle as I didn't feel a thingβ
βNever visited this clinic before, but attended today for a blood test. Arrived early and from my first interaction at reception it was a relaxing and positive experience. The receptionist was welcoming and friendly. The lady who took my blood put me at ease, despite the fact I dislike needles and it took a couple of attempts to obtain a sample. These nerves were also helped as I arrived 15 mins early but was seen straight away.β
βIβve heard so many complaints about the NHS and hospitals, including Newcross, but my experience was amazing. I arrived at Urgent Care at 9:00 am this morning and was seen immediately. I was there on my own for six hours, but the care was constant and incredible. The nurses were amazing, taking bloods (you can wait up to three hours to get the blood test results) doing my drip promptly, and checking on me throughout. Dr. Mohammed was so thoughtful and outstanding, always asking how I was and even carrying my bag because I was too weak to walk. The hospital is absolutely fab. Honestly, everyone at Newcross was amazing professional, compassionate, and genuinely caring. I left feeling completely looked after.β
βI have been with this surgery for 18 months and have never found it difficult to get an appointment. The wait to see the GP may have been longer than I expected, my appointment was 10:30, and was seen at 11:40 but the service was fantastic, I was listened too and treated with respect and dignity. It was worth the wait, I wasnβt rushed out of the door. They care and Iβm guessing thatβs why the clinic fell behind schedule. Well done for being caring and empatheticβ
βI had a smear test booked which I was initially nervous about, but with Nurse Apsara Hussain, I immediately felt like there was nothing to worry about out. She explained the process to me thoroughly and the importance of having a smear test. She was reassuring and had a warm presence that made the test much less stressful for me. Thank you so much and it was lovely to meet you, Nurse Hussain!β
ββ β β β β "Dr. Steven Nehar is truly one in a million! He takes his time to listen, help, and provide thoughtful advice. He genuinely cares about his patients, which is rare to find these days. His dedication and compassion make all the difference, and I feel lucky to have found such an outstanding doctor. Highly recommend!"β
βcannot express my gratitude enough for the exceptional care I received at Lockstown Practice. This amazing team of doctors and staff quite literally saved my life. I was facing a serious health crisis, and from the moment I stepped through their doors, I felt in safe hands. The doctors here go above and beyond, combining their medical expertise with genuine compassion and dedication. They listened to me, took my symptoms seriously, and took swift and decisive action to get to the root of the problem. The follow-up care has been nothing short of remarkable; they made sure I was on the right path to recovery and continued to check in on me regularly. The entire staff, from reception to nursing, creates an environment of warmth and professionalism. You can tell they truly care about each patient that walks through their doors. Itβs rare to find a practice with this level of empathy, attentiveness, and commitment to patient wellbeing. If you are looking for a GP practice that treats you not just as a patient, but as a person, and prioritizes your health with the utmost care, Lockstown Practice is the place to go. They saved my life, and for that, I am eternally grateful. Thank you, Lockstown Practice. I owe you everything.β
βI want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the nurses, doctors, and surgeons at Ward 12 who supported me during my hospital stay. The care I received was truly exceptional, from helping me get out of bed to managing my medication and offering unwavering support. I honestly wouldnβt be here without them. Their dedication and kindness made all the difference, and I am forever grateful. Thank you, Ward 12.β
βI was recently discharged from this hospital in July. Before this admission at ivetsy I was a patient at a different hospital and had a very negative experience. It being abusive, neglectful, and overall just not a caring place to be when you need help to get better. With that admission i became terrified of ever having to go back to hospital. I was then admitted to ivetsy bank under a section. When i got there from the minute i stepped foot in the building i could tell the environment was different to my previous experience, all the nurses were caring and warming aswell as all the support workers. Aswell as them, Dr Andreas and the psychologist Harriet were also amazing and I canβt thank them enough for helping me finally get better. I also thank tiff the ward manager as she helped with any problem or issues any patients had aswell as the social workers jade and kamilla. The OTs were also amazing and did activities to keep us entertained throughout our time in hospital whether that was baking or painting or going out on local leave. Throughout my admission there was many bumps in my recovery, times where I was mad because I wasnβt allowed out because of my risk. But all the decisions that were made were in my best interest and had a good reasoning behind it. Throughout my admission I had lots of incidents and during this incidents I felt supported and cared for and was always reassured by staff that it would be okay and they knew the best person to speak to when Iβm low is my mum so they always got my mum on the phone to help. Itβs the little things that arenβt actually so little, like support workers and nurses drying and straightening my hair for me, or helping my clean my room, or helping me change my sheets, taking me out for drives or grounds walks when I had leave, water fights on the days where it was hot. These are all little things that actually make a difference and they knew things that were important to me. They made me feel at home in a hospital. I truly canβt think them enough for everything as before my admission I hit rock bottom and truly didnβt believe Iβd ever see the light at the end of the tunnel. If your reading this and you are looking because you are going to this hospital soon (I did this) then I promise you are in good care and all the staff are amazing and everything will be okay!β
βI have been with this surgery since I was a kid Iβm now 43. Iβve never had a problem with the staff any staff, they try their best even when dealing with the most difficult of people which Iβve witnessed. My daughter is also with this surgery and is 15 and the staff are very understanding and great with her. When a surgery opened close to where we live the rest of the family moved to it and have regretted it ever since.β
βAdvanced Nurse Practitioner and the Lady GP are both amazing, very supportive and i feel they go above and beyond to help you. Receptionist are polite and friendly which is also very important. Cant fault this GP atall, especially coming from an unsupportive GP surgery.β
βIβve had to deal with the surgery on behalf of an ill family member. They have been brilliant: very helpful and supportive. The receptionists are lovely. You do see a different doctor every time, but that is the same everywhere now and all of them have been excellent. For a very busy practice, how they handle phone calls first time is great. Iβve not had to wait each time - about 20 times in 6 months.β
