“Wonderful selection, could barely choose off the menu. I opted for the "merry me" buttery beans and it was such a generous portion I couldn't even finish. My sister tried their biscoff waffles and loved it as well. The staff was really kind and helpful, we had a lovely lunch in this quiet, cozy place.”

We also ordered prawn on toast and vegetables spring rolls which are amazingly good! The atmosphere is kinda dark tho. I thought it was closed the moment when I went upstairs but the staff was really friendly to us and even made jokes with us. Good time.”

“What a lovely, welcoming place. We arrived mid afternoon and were delighted to find out hot food was on all day. My fish pie was piping hot and one of the best ever have ever eaten. The steak and ale pie was also tender and served with an incredible topping. The staff were kind, attentive and the place was had a warm ambience with great views. Highly recommend.”

“This is one of the best restaurants in Aberdeen. Located by the pier and beach, the ocean views are lovely. Staff were wonderful, friendly, helpful, and professional. The wine and drinks selections are excellent, with something for everyone. The star of the show, though, is the delicious and inventive food. I had the halibut, which was fresh and delicious, and served with baby potatoes and runner beans in a remarkably delicious sauce. My husband had the hake, perfectly cooked, with fennel salad, garlic mash, and this amazing roasted pureed garlic with basil oil. Delicious! We shared the sticky toffee pudding and misogyny caramel sauce with ice cream that was so indulgent and such an inventive take on the ubiquitous dessert. A perfect meal!”

“Great food and nice service staff. Chicken satay, almond chicken starters, thai green and red curries, jasmine sticky rice are some recommendations. Would advise to book table in advance especially on weekends. Prices are average and not too expensive considering the great tasting food. Place and ambiance is cool.”

“Amazing experience from here. We tried their Korean fried chicken, which was the right sauce on top and covered with perfectly cooked chicken inside. Also tried their beef Bulgogi, which was thin slices of beef, marinated in their sauce for 24 hours! Excellent food, friendly staff as well. “Lovely little place, stopped in for lunch on a free day in town. Friendly staff, delicious affordable food, cozy and charming atmosphere. I had a flatbread with pastrami, peppers and cheddar and the homemade chips; everything was excellent. Loved the mismatched plates and flatware.”

“Chaophraya has become our go-to Thai restaurant, we absolutely love the Birmingham location, so when my friend turned 40, we decided to celebrate at the Aberdeen location. And honestly, it didn’t disappoint! From the booking to the actual evening, everything was smooth. Oil, the manager, was so kind and professional throughout. Jessica W, our server, was lovely and made sure the night ran perfectly. We pre-ordered from the set menu so we could try a bit of everything...the food was fresh, flavourful, and absolutely delicious. The drinks and dessert were great too. They even surprised us with a few bottles of chardonnay and cake for the birthday girl, which was such a thoughtful touch. 10/10 would recommend Chaophraya if you're after a tasty, feel-good meal in a beautiful setting. “Stopped by Cloggys for lunch before heading to Aberdeen airport, it is an absolute gem of a spot! The menu is expansive- there is something for everyone, the staff are all unbelievably friendly, and the owners Jash and Alex certainly make you feel at home! I had a rather large lunch (the burger and the mac n cheese are excellent on their own), but being greedy I decided to combine the two! 10/10 would recommend. Lucky to those who work in the area and can be a regular at Cloggys, to all others just 'passing through' I definitely recommend coming by to fill your boots!”

“Overall a top quality place to order from, for me. My only issue is the "Cash only" service, hence only 4 stars for *Service* for me. I understand why its done, but customers love ease & convenience, so they know me for complaining about it lool. Yet I equally say, a business that doesn't compromise.. often has good authority in reason to do so. Everything else, top notch. One of my absolute favourite places to get a meal from. Never written a review, ever. Been ordering here since 2021, & strongly thought/felt they deserve a shout.”

“First time customers and will definitely be back. Ordered on their website which was easy to navigate and good choice. I arrived 10mins later and was ready after just a few minutes. Polite staff on the counter despite it appearing busy in the waiting area which is no surprise for a Friday night. All food was roasting hot by the time I got home and each dish was delicious. Only shame really was no prawn crackers included but next time we will order a bag as a they do make a meal.”
