β€œStayed here a few times for work. The rooms are varied but the last one I had was enormous and very cosy. The cooked breakfast is excellent too, the food was good quality. However the continental breakfast was a bit lacking, better pastries and some more dietary options are needed! I had to ask specifically for non dairy milk (come on, it's so common) and no non dairy options on the table for yoghurt or milk.”

Came to check in at 3.30 had to wait just under an hour to get into the room but staff was very friendly about it and to be expected on a concert night. Room had a nice view and location was absolutely ideal for going to a concert in the SSE. Breakfast was a good price had a really good selection well worth it. Would stay here again”

β€œThis hotel is in prime location. Overall stay experience was great with good breakfast, lovely staff and a clean comfy room. Third-time lucky: initial room, and second room after a reallocation, had a foul smell from the bathroom. Debbie and Jake on reception were very helpful and found us a third alternative room which was fresh-smelling. We made use of the luggage store at the hotel, also. This was quick, easy and super convenient.”

β€œI attended an event at The Balmoral Hotel on Saturday, organised by my jiu-jitsu club, and it couldn’t have gone better. The place itself is beautiful and has a real sense of occasion about it. The staff were fantastic – friendly, attentive, and clearly take pride in what they do. Everything ran seamlessly from start to finish, and the food was spot on. You could tell a lot of care went into making sure the night was enjoyable for everyone. It’s rare to find a venue that delivers across the board like that. I’d definitely recommend The Balmoral to anyone planning an event or looking for somewhere impressive to celebrate.”

β€œA truly wonderful hotel. Spotlessly clean and fantastic customer service. My only little moan was with regards to breakfast, it was stated that it was available till 11am however on arrival at the dining room there was nobody around to serve me and a notice on the wall informed that breakfast was only served till 10am.... I was there at 9.55am???? So unfortunately I left disappointed and hungry!!! Truthfully, regardless of that I had a great stay.β˜ΊοΈβ€

β€œGreat hotel, and I love that it's kid-friendly, with many families with small kids around. Starting with the room, it's a great space. The temperature is perfect – not too hot, not too cold – and it's late October. The restaurant was fine. The food was good, and the staff was great. They had a Halloween event this weekend, and it was the highlight of the hotel. It was just amazing! The kids loved it, and we did too. There was a Halloween disco and then a pumpkin carving with a bouncing castle. Such a great time! I love this event and we will definitely come back for more.”

The morning of our arrival we got an email with all the important details including the code for the key safe etc. Our Room and bathroom were both really clean and seemed to be freshly renovated. When coming to visit Belfast again, we'll surely stay at the avenue Belfast!”

β€œFollowing a minor car accident. I quickly booked a room for the night as I was stranded. On arriving at the hotel I found out that I had booked a room for the next evening and that there were no rooms available. I didn't know what to do as it was the early hours of the morning. The staff in Lisburn couldn't have been more helpful. They allowed me to sit in the lobby until a more decent hour when I would be able to get transport home. Dawn and Natasha helped me to relax after the stressful incident, made me tea and chatted to me during the night. They were absolutely wonderful and showed that they genuinely cared about me even though I wasn't a guest at the hotel. I can't thank them enough. I watched them showing the same kindness to the other guests as they started to get ready for their day. Fabulous ladies.”

β€œThis is a great hotel. We've stayed here before but it was over 20 years ago and I think it was called the Crescent Townhouse then. The staff were great, friendly and welcoming. I have allergies and so asked to have hypoallergenic pillows and this was no problem. I wish I had also asked to have all the bedding replaced as the duvet was down filled but ghat was my fault for not thinking to ask. The free beer in the fridge as you enter the hotel is a lovely touch. You can opt for a discounted room above the bar but we chose not to. There was still noise but this didn't affect us too much. The staff in the bar were also great.”

β€œWe spent an incredible 3 days with Michael Smith from Micks Tours Belfast. On Day 1, he took the 8 of us around Belfast, stopping at the castle, Peace Wall, Belfast City Hall and the Titanic Museum. He explained what it was like to live in Belfast during The Troubles, which gave us a glimpse of the challenges during that time period. Day 2 had us going out of the city to County Antrim, stopping at Carrickfergus Castle, Glenariff Forest Park (beautiful waterfall), and Lunch at the wonderful Fullerton Arms pub. In the afternoon, we continued on to the Giants causeway (amazing place) and finished our day at the Bushmills Distillery. Between Day 2 and 3, our ship the Azamara Quest moved to Greencastle near Londonderry. Michael picked us up there and gave us a breathtaking tour of North Donegal. We visited Grianan of Aileach (8th c. stone fort), Fort Dunree, Gap of Mamore, and my favorite place of the trip, Malin Head. We ate lunch at Farren’s B, Ireland’s northern most pub. The views from Malin Head were spectacular! We finished our day at Tremone Bay beach and then Moville. Throughout all 3 days, Michael shared stories and history of his country. He gave us a very objective view of the recent history of Northern Ireland, and we appreciated his insight. We cannot recommend Michael enough as a guide. All 8 of us agreed he helped make our vacation unforgettable.”
