“We are regular customers at the Khyber. It's our favourite Indian. The food is always good and there is always plenty of meat in the dishes. Staff are friendly and professional. I would highly recommend.”
“My husband and I called in tonight for the first time we were served by a lovely girl called Leanne. Service was amazing and food incredible. Can't wait to get back again. Thank you so much Leanne and team yous are a credit.”
“Hidden gem and could recommend enough. Usually always got the chicken wings which are always too notch but recently got the curry and pasta Bolognese which were equally as nice.”
“Very nice food but had to wait nearly a hour for meal”
“We booked a table for a birthday celebration and we had constant attention from all the staff to ensure a wonderful night. Bennie the owner is a fantastic host and made sure we were not rushed and were served when it we asked for the next course. We shall return on our next visit to Belfast”
“We ordered chicken tikka and lamb tikka plus pilaf rice and naan bread from the Bengal Brasserie on Ormeau Road last night. The order came right on time and the food was hot. Surprisingly we were also given vegetable dal to go with the meals which was very good - lots of different vegetables and not overcooked. The lamb tikka was very tender and tasty. There was so much food we didn't even try the chicken tikka. We'll have that tonight. We think we'll start doing this on a regular basis!”
“I ordered takeaway food for a party of 7. The food was plentiful and fresh. The food was ready within 30 mins and was still piping hot when we got it home. We devoured every morsel. We will be back.”
“Easily the best Indian restaurant in Belfast, and has been for the last 20 years. Consistently provide delicious, high quality food with friendly service in a beautiful restaurant. You MUST try this place!”
“The food we got was delicious, the staff were very attentive while we were getting drinks and ordering. We had called in ahead of going to the panto and the food was out with plenty of time to make it to our showing. Will definitely be back!”
“In my view best Indian in Bangor. Had a great chicken naga here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The service is great and the prices are reasonable. They catered for the kids who aren’t keen on Indian food. Don’t hesitate but go check it out.”
“When visiting my sister I get out of here.Food is AMAZING!!!”
“This is by far one of the best Indian restaurants I've eaten at. The food was so delicious, very fresh and not oily at all. While we were waiting for take out, so many Irish locals walked in to either place an order or pick up their take out. The chef and the entire team at this restaurant are so nice. We felt so welcomed and will be back again when we are visiting Belfast.”
“Fabulous food, rapid delivery. I have tried lots of Indian restaurants in the Belfast region, this has the best food without a doubt. It is always busy which is s good sign”
“Amazing food. One of the best Indians about. Have tried multiple dishes on the menu and they have all been great. Really reasonably priced.”
“The food here was described, by one of our party, as "the best kebab [he'd] ever had." The portions are very large (we debated whether to get chips in addition to the kebabs, but in the end were glad we didn't!) I would also like to showcase the variety: not only do they do good pizzas and baguettes in addition to kebabs, but they do rarities like kebabs with naan bread, and even things I've never seen before like chicken pakora or chicken tikka in a kebab!”
“The food is absolutely exceptional. We had a takeaway tonight- the meal for 2 was incredible value and with an extra naan bread it fed 4 of us. I'd highly recommend Bay of Bengal. We had Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Pathia, naan bread, poppadoms, onion bajis and chicken tikka. We will definitely be back. The food was super tasty, and the staff were very friendly. It was extremely good value. The meal for 2 was only £24.99 and you got 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 pilau rice and a naan bread. There was also 15% off on Bangor Eats. I think this will be our new Indian takeaway!”
“This was a lovely little find, especially on a Saturday evening. It was quite very busy and I think that they might have been shorthanded as the orders were taking longer than they advertised. Nevertheless, the staff was fantastic and very gracious, and the food was delicious! They are quite large portions, so perhaps consider sharing. Would happily visit again!”
“We love Chilli’s. Delicious takeaway spot, very clean and family run - who are always so friendly. Food is always really tasty, piping hot and fast service. The best Chinese takeaway in south Belfast in my opinion!”
“Wow it has been 7 years since I last visited Ruchi and not one thing has changed still the same great food bursting with flavours that are so different from the usual Indian restaurants I have visited. The food was so good I've been twice in one week. I can't wait to try more from the menu. This is one of Belfasts hidden gems for Indian curry.”
“From the moment I walked in, I knew it was going to be a good meal. Staff were lovely, the food was incredible and they had a guitarist playing in the corner. Very worth a visit if you’re in the area. Would definitely return.”
“Lovely food, such a clean place, very professional staff. We had a wonderful time in Bengal Spice .”
“I took a mix kebab (chicken pakora, steak, doner meat) without chips, a really big portion, and I took two sauces separately and paid £10, the price is right for the quality”
“First class restaurant , top class service aswell! Highly recommend.”
“We have been buying our Indian takeaways from Green Chilli for 20years. We occasionally try other restaurants but always return to Green Chilli. Consistently the best.”
“Had our first meal here tonight and the food was amazing. Staff were lovely and very attentive. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended”
“Top quality, best kebab house around.”
“Amazing food as always. We placed an order for a party, it was full catering, including starters like samosa and chicken 65, which was top notch, authentic taste that reminded us of home. Also the quantity was up to the mark and delivery was on time. Very professional and polite people. I would recommend it to everyone, specially if you’re planning to host a party.”
“This is my first time ever having a Naan Doughs & i will be truthfully honest, the Naan is the freshest iv ever had from a kebab shop & the quality of the meats is 10/10, everything is soo fresh & the guy behind the counter was telling me about the awards & I tell you this! NOOOO BLOODY WONDER THEY ARE A MULTI-AWARD WINNING SHOP! This has to be by far the best kebab iv had! Even the sauces top notch, I got a large mix kebab and LARGE it sure was! Very well priced and portions are huge! Will deffo be back!”
“I haven't been in the restaurant in 6 years+ as I have not been in the country; however, upon returning, I was met by the owner and a staff member when ordering for takeout. They were super friendly and even give free poppadom's and even rounded down the bill by a few pounds. Going back many years before that, I ate in with my friends one time, and the owner gave us free shots of alcohol after the bill was paid. The service is just great, and what I like in businesses. 100% recommend.”
