“Great ambience and customer service, all staff are accommodating. Portions of the food doesn’t look big but actually quite filling. I ordered the Lamb Bhunna which has a generous portion of diced lamb, the sauce is very thick and goes well with the mushroom pulao rice. Onion bhajis are also decent.”

“We came today for a Sunday Roast after a party night. AMAZING! Nice portions, good food quality. Gravy was handmade and the meat was perfectly cooked (I had pork and it was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside) Vinny has been so kind to us, checking if everything was alright and being so fast on any command needed :)”

“Had a fantastic experience here for a work lunch with a group of seven. We were welcomed with complimentary bread and dips to start, which was a lovely touch. For my main I ordered the lamb gyros, which came with a delicious cheese-filled lamb kebab — an unexpected treat! To top it off, we were surprised with free cheesecake for dessert. The service was excellent throughout and I honestly can’t fault a thing. Highly recommended!”

“This was our second visit to Ama restaurant. This place is amazing, We ordered the full lamb for 10 seatings.. The taste was absolutely beautiful and tender. My guests were totally impressed by the food and service and surroundings. This place is very highly recommended. Do book in advance as the restaurant got very busy. “I had two large lasagnes to takeaway to serve 20 people today at a family party.The owner was very helpful and opened the shop Sunday morning for me to collect the food. The food was excellent ,it was very tasty , moist and cheesy and everyone at the party commented and asked where I had purchased it from.I would definitely recommend the Deli and am using them again before Christmas for another event and ordering lasagne again , a big hit to be repeated!”

“I went into Maliks with a friend to check out the new breakfast menu, and I was very happy that I did. Shakshukka with home made paratha, and my friend had the curried chickpeas and potato which came with a lovely spicy pickle accompanyment, and a delightful sweet halva too. Both dishes were freshly made and were definitely worth the visit. Friendly staff, superb food. The staff are extremely helpful, and are pleased to help. Portion sizes are very good. The breakfast menu is worth the visit, so if you enjoy indian food and want to try something different, give Maliks a visit, however they also do an English breakfast too [please see picture attached for the menu]. Breakfast is served 8am - 11.30pm so this gives you plenty of time. Free car park just over the road makes visiting easy, cant praise this visit highly enough. Definitely on my regular breakfast place to eat. Not expensive either which is even better.”

“Ohhh wow! This place was delicious, full of atmosphere, great service and the food, was fantastic. Me and my partner came for my birthday brunch, had a black forest hot chocolate and a gingerbread latte off the specials, aswell as biscoff french toast and berry french toast, on which both I highly recommend. They were made swiftly, came out quick and tasted immaculate! Highly recommend.”

“Me and the family went for the sunday buffet and off the main menu, was greeted at the door by manager Ray and shown to our table , superb choice of food really fresh and tasty , the only downside was waited some time for our drinks and had to ask for the bill twice, but on the whole very impressed highly reccommend . “Came to the restaurant for dinner tonight, and all the dishes tasted good. My mother really likes their chili sauce and wants to buy a bottle to take away, at first the waiter said initially said it doesn't for sell to the public, but after paying the bill, the warmhearted manager BOGDAN directly gave us a bottle and no charge for it! Really appreciated for his enthusiastic and generous service!”

“It’s my first time visiting this restaurant, and it’s surprisingly good! I’ve tried several Turkish restaurants in the area, but the grilled meat here is definitely the best. The seasoned salad, bread, lamb, and even the fries were all delicious. I’ll definitely come back again — you must give this place a try!”

“After trying many of the other local Currys houses I found Box Trees Indian. Box Trees Indian is a real gem! From the moment you arrive, Syed and his team make you feel so welcome – they are friendly, attentive, and always happy to go the extra mile. The service is outstanding and really adds to the whole experience. The food is just as impressive. Every dish is bursting with flavour, cooked to perfection, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality and freshness in each bite. Whether it’s a classic curry or something a little different, everything is consistently delicious. They are always willing to advise and tailor a dish to your taste also. With amazing staff and incredible food, Box Trees Indian easily deserves five stars. “Had some food from here for the first time last night, only a simple meal some plain fries and Korean fried chicken, we were really impressed with how exceptionally nice the food tasted It was fresh clearly cooked to order piping hot and so flavoursome and tasted amazing. The fries were so crunchy on the outside and fluffy in the centre The chicken huge breast portions oozing with tasty sauce. Very impressive The server was also super polite and friendly which is a pleasant change. Will be back for more !”

They had been an incident so traffic was delayed so my wife rang ahead to say we might be a bit late it was a Friday evening when the heavens have just opened. Monsoon weather in the middle of summer. From the moment we got their you the staff was very pleasant and even delayed the closing so they could accommodate a few of the late comers on another table so if you’re ever in Birmingham I would highly recommend a visit”

“First time here and loved every bit. The server was attentive and stopped by a couple of times to see that everything was okay. Service was prompt and the sunday roast was absolutely delicious. The restaurant itself was clean and ambience was good”

“Have dined many times at San Carlo over the years living in Birmingham. Food is always good. Wine list caters to all budgets. And they have great seafood dishes. There are two levels to the restaurant and we were sat at a table tucked away which was great. Lots of mirrors with a ceiling full of artificial roses. It’s over the top but suits the venue and adds to the experience. Great wine. Lots of Italian choices. We had a couple bottles of the primitivo after a round of negronis (pleased an Italian place can make these well too) My starter was overdone under the grill. I’ve had the baked aubergine parmagiano many times and this unfortunately wasn’t their best. Monkfish tagliatelle and the shared dessert more than made up for it. The dessert was three mini portions per person and a limoncello shot for £9 each. Great value. Will look forward to my next visit.”

“Very nice decor, large restaurant with plenty of different seating and levels. Staff was very attentive and sat us very quickly, it was a quiet day. The table was big enough for all our food, there was salt and pepper at the table. We used a buyagift voucher with a set menu, this was very easy to use. Food was great, served quickly, staff checked on us regularly and were very nice and polite. We parked in the Asda car park as we did a little shopping afterwards (3h free parking).”
