“This is my family’s go to chippy. I’m not usually a fan of orange battered chips because I find them greasy, but not from here. They are great. I highly recommend the pizzas and adding the stuffed crust. Delivery is always prompt and always before the time it says on the app. I used to use the just eat app but found it difficult to order my specific requirements. But now I use their own app and have no problems at all.”

“We had been away for a 2.5 week road trip in Europe, and as good as a time we had, I'd had enough of hotel and restaurant food. Proper good old fish and chips was just what we wanted and that's what we got. You can't beat it and you can't get it anywhere on the continent of Europe. :-)”

“A hidden gem. Nestled away in Aston University Business School is the conference centres hotel and bar. The restaurant offers a selection of varying dishes - lunch comes in at a very reasonable price point for the quality of offering, and is the subject of this review. The restaurant is largely self serve for lunch, with table service for drinks and coffee. Starters are offered as a self select buffet - typically soup, salads and a few extras - ones I've enjoyed recently being pressed ham hock and mackerel pate. Two or three mains are served - I've seen meat, fish and vegetarian options. Food tends to be straightforward and satisfying. A small selection of desserts and cheese round of an enjoyable experience. I've brought a few people here recently and it has gone down well on each occasion.”

“I really cannot understand these poor reviews. We have had pizza from here many times and have to say it has always been first class. Piping hot, fresh, delivered promptly by friendly courteous staff and tastes absolutely delicious. This is not a 'one-off. We find the food consistently meets these high professional standards. Ultimately you can only speak as you find and at prices like these we certainly wont be looking elsewhere for pizza. Well done Blakenall One Call, thanks for such great food.”

“Had a few meals from here via just eat. My wife is partial to salt n pepper squid. There isn't many Chinese takeaways that cook it. The other dishes we're tried has been nice and tasty.”

“Was driving past and had the need for food so thought I'd give it a try. The food was some of the best I've ever tasted. The mixed kebab consisted of thinly sliced donor and soft succulent chicken. I also noticed they used a different oil to other chip shops which apparently doesn't contain toxins when heated a high temperature (the name escapes me), probably why their chips were so nice. They have a very large menu which includes pizza. Will definitely be going there again and again to work my way through the menu.”

“Top quality service and menu! The staff are always friendly and welcoming, the food is absolutely fantastic my go to being the grilled chicken and peri fries and Oreo milkshakes! Their extensive desserts menu means there’s always something for everyone! Couldn’t recommend this place enough! Special mention to dragon hut which is the Chinese menu they do amazing chicken balls and salt and pepper chips!”

“Our first time ordering food from here using Uber Eats and the food was amazing! The packaging is black boxes which diffrentiates this take away from others. Very well presented food and everything was fresh. The salad was not frozen like other take aways. The portions were massive and the apple pies were piping hot. We have decided to make this our permanent take away and will be ordering on a regular basis! Thank you 5 stars all the way.”

“We organised a cocktail masterclass, Erin was our host and Matt took the booking. From start to finish it was fantastic. The venue was so lovely, the food was delicious and we had the best time. Nothing was too much for Matt or Erin. We will certainly be back!”

“What can i say about our wedding here on 29th July 2022..wow ..amazing. magical..best day of our lives..we booked 2 years ago and due to covid it was pushed back..during this time the hotel had new management and we had seen a couple of negative comments so called and asked for a meeting..all our worries were talked through and we were put at ease..then we booked an appt to meet the new wedding planner pippa 2 weeks before the wedding and knew instantly that she was totally on the ball..she did not let us down her communication was fantastic and she did everything possible to make our day so special..we had no hiccups and everything ran like clockwork. The only slight niggle would be the queue for the bar but we did have a large wedding so maybe at the next large wedding another bar team member would help..but all in all our day was perfect and we wouldn't change a single minute of it. The team worked so hard and made our day special. Thank you to all the staff”
