“We had a wonderful time at Verbena. We arrived at 7pm and a couple of things had sold out/we ordered the last one, so I would just comment on that. Otherwise everything was great - the waitress was incredibly accommodating, the atmosphere was lovely and not too loud, and the final bill was reasonable.”

“Faultless. Visited for my wife's 40th birthday, and was welcomed with a "Happy Birthday", a card from the team and left with a small box of chocolates, really helping to make it feel special. The food was amazing and as it was a Thursday lunchtime it was quiet, so felt like we had the place to ourselves. Highly recommend, and my thanks to the team.”

“We celebrated our daughter’s 18th birthday at The Lounge and i have to say the place was amazing. The staff and management were fantastic and catered for all our needs. The food was absolutely amazing and probably the best I’ve had for a wedding or party. All of our guests have sent messages stating they were so impressed with the food. Your amazing Chef and Service Staff definitely need a pay rise for all their hard work. If anyone requires similar set up like the pictures below please don’t hesitate ask the team to get in touch.”

“I have been to this restaurant 4 times in the last month. It is amazing. Service is second to none. Even though its always very busy, including birthday parties, the food quality is perfect and so is the service. The drink service is very efficient too. Even if you want a drink/cocktail not on the menu they still do it for you.”

“Absolutely gorgeous restaurant with very friendly staff who were incredibly attentive and nothing was any trouble. Food and drinks arrived quickly and were served beautifully. One of the best meals I’ve had in a restaurant so can not recommend more. Will definitely be returning when I’m next in pershore. Prawns were perfectly cooked and the coconut rice is a must try! Paid around roughly £30 per person for 7 of us including drinks!”

“This quaint Inn between Stourport on Severn and Hartlebury Common that was converted from 3 houses into this Inn. Has been serving the public since 1845. Just opposite is a car park and an entrance to this beautiful beer garden which requires going down some stairs. They also have a place they serve drinks from too and is nestled by a river and an old railway bridge. Behind the Rock Tavern are caves in which you can visit but are currently closed. I do recommend a visit here i do plan to go again. Its a tavern that has a touch of the past meets the present and well designed and they do on occasions have live music.”

The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service from the moment I arrived. My meal started with a warm, flavourful meat broth soup served promptly after ordering. For the main course, I had the chicken roast — tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked. The vegetables were fresh and full of flavour, and the Yorkshire pudding was light and fluffy. Other roast options included lamb, salmon, or a combination of chicken and lamb. To finish, I enjoyed their freshly baked sprinkle cake, which was the perfect sweet ending to the meal. At £27 per person, the whole experience offered excellent value for money. “Went on a wintry Monday so it was unsurprisingly empty but we got a great feed and a warm welcome. The tasting menu was generous to a fault but all of the elements were delicious. The tandoori was used masterfully giving everything a comforting smokiness whilst letting the unique flavours and textures of the meat shine through. The prawns were especially plump, juicy and delicious. The butter chicken was had great depth and really let the tomatoes do the work of providing this, so often it's just a creamy bland effort but this has really pronounced flavour. All of the other curries met this high standard. Brilliant. Well done.”

“Very nice country pub which has been refurbished and is now under new management. The new team are very friendly and welcoming. The landlord can’t do enough for his customers, everything you ask for is ‘No Problem’. Great customer service. There's a nice log fire and a great selection of real ales at reasonable prices. The only down side is they only serve cold food, but it’s a good selection that goes particularly well with the traditional ales that are on sale. They take party bookings and will put on a buffet to suit the number of guests. I went with my family on Sunday afternoon and everybody enjoyed themselves. The food, drinks, service and atmosphere was great.”
