The highlight of our visit was the outstanding service we received from Si, who really went out of his way to make sure we were looked after. “Great little place run like a military operation by a group of lovely local women. Enough seating inside for about 20 people and a couple of seats outside. Was sat and served really quickly and had a nice full English. Nice atmosphere about the place too.”

“Hidden gem in Tamworth, me and my wife popped in for a breakfast and a cuppa and we’re greet by a friendly smile, there wasn’t a long wait for the food and it came out piping hot, the quality of the sausages and bacon stand out and it was all cooked to perfection! How they serve a breakfast as this calibre for the price they charge I don’t know, well worth a visit!”

“Never thought to eat here but reviews were favourable so had a quick stop for dinner. It definitely had a drinkers vibe but the lounge was quieter. Anyway, seeing the price of the food (pie / chilli @£5.95!!) we did wonder what the quality would be like. I ordered boozy pie. The puff lid, if I'm being picky, could've been done crisper, but there was tons of tender meat, and the chips and the veg were cooked to perfection. Partners chilli was reported to be very tasty too. Enjoyed our meals. Six quid!!!!!!!”

“Room was pristine, bumped into the housekeeper as I was checking in and she made sure I had everything I needed. The hotel is attached to a charming country style pub with amazing food and fantastic staff. The location is on a busy road but also a 5 minute bus from the town centre which was a beautiful place to spend the day and has lots of local amenities. I would recommend this hotel to a person travelling alone or as a couple for a peaceful retreat as the location has fantastic transport links all over the country.”

“We have been going to pizza by goli for years! The food is always spot on with service to match. We normally go to Sutton Coldfield but tried The Lichfield restaurant last night which was great. We were served by Danielle who really looked after our evening but we were sad to find out at the end that any gratuity could only be cash (nobody carries cash). Please bear this in mind as the food is great but the serving staff were fantastic also.”

“I order from here frequently and have never had a bad experience. Food is grear, staff are professional and friendly. The Shawarma and rice are fresh and full of taste. If you are looking for good Mediterranean/Arabic food and want something new to try, it's well worth a visit. Highly recommend.”

“An excellent dining experience was had by all. Pleasant and helpful staff ...and a very good range of draught lagers and spirits and an excellent selection of Classic bar food and Indian! The Chicken Karahi , Garlic Naan and Rice was first class as well as the Shish Kebabs... Kids had Fish fingers and chips, after they were done with the freely available colouring crayons and activities. We got our sanity back for the hour and all in all well worth the visit ...and what's more if you're frightened of missing the football then fear not because there are TVs high up for you to keep an eye on the game .”

“Was fancying something different than a fish and chips on a Friday so decided to give monsoon a try. I can tell you one thing for sure the food was delicious all cooked fresh while we waited the flavour of the jalfrezi was amazing the korma was delicious naans were full of flavour and chips that were fresh and we were given some popadoms and dips. Fridays are going to be a lot different from today!!!”

“Called ahead first to ask about bringing three of my service users (one learning disabilities and two complex needs). Couldn't be more helpful on the phone. Even suggested we could have a table in the quietest area. Once there, the staff were amazing. Extremely helpful, courteous and couldn't do enough to make sure our people were comfortable and stress free. Took the guys names so the bills didn't get confused and allowed us as much time as we needed at the table. Mitchell and Aaron, you were both brilliant and a credit to the pub. Thankyou both and we will definitely be back soon”

“We haven't been here for quite some time but were SO pleased that there has been no decline in food, quality or service! Afternoon Tea is a real favourite of ours and we were not disappointed! Had a lovely selection of finger sandwiches, had to box some up so we had room for cake(s). The cakes can make or break an afternoon, we are cake based lifeforms, and my goodness we weren't disappointed. The most delicious huge piece of Pistachio & Rose Sponge, a huge Scone/Cream/Jam and a generous squidgy Chocolate Brownie. My husband managed Sponge & Scone but I was defeated at Sponge, a lightweight. Giving us another box to take home to enjoy at teatime tomorrow. Couldn't have chosen a nicer place to celebrate our anniversary and my first day out since surgery. Left feeling comfortably stuffed and in agreement we will be back much sooner next time.”

“Really enjoyed this takeaway! The chicken grill burger was super juicy and well cooked. Tried their pizza as well which was delicious, full of flavor. The wings and chicken pieces were crispy and so good, I couldn’t get enough. Definitely one of the best spots around —highly recommended!”

“We went for winter wonderland and weren't disappointed. It was absolutely brilliant and we'd definitely come again, there's something for everyone! From snow play to a pantomime and Christmas music, it put us into the festive spirit, the decorations outside were amazing too! We were gifted our tickets via Acorns Children's Hospice and the disabled access was amazing too!”

“Pop there most Friday evenings? On route to venture shopping park and then onto my familys. I am fussy about my food it has to be spot on and this chippy has never let me down, perfect every time, the staff so friendly and efficient and yes sometimes you have to wait if there busy but hey it's always hot and fresh 10/10 service”

“I come here every week without a doubt and I 100% recommend you take your whole family here the staff is absolutely wonderful and kind the portions are very reasonable so are the prices the fish was absolutely tasty one of the best fish and chips I've had in a long long time it was a bit busy but the food was still hot and so tasty as I said take your whole family here its absolutely wonderful.”

“Even better than India Garden. The speed of the food was unbelievably quick. Starters arrived before we finished our poppadoms and the meals were here 10 minutes later. Friendly and attentive staff. Quick telephone reservation service, homely environment and massive selection of food. I regularly come here and this was certainly not my final visit. Fantastic value for money as well. Bravo guys, keep up the good work. Recommendations: Perhaps a Sunday discount to attract more customers.”

“My go to local Chinese Takeaway. Recently been going round the menu when ordering. Each time the dish has been bang on. Been coming here for 5+ years now. Today my Chow Mein was cold when I got home. But this was my first time experiencing this in all my years. Would still reccomend regardless.”
