“Our car broke down on Saturday, just up the road from Thornton Road Tesco. I was desperate for the loo, went down there & explained. A lovely young lady stacking shelves said it wasn’t a problem but that they only had a staff toilet. The manager was very kind & made us 2 teas, inviting us back if there was anything else we needed, (my husband was the next toilet visitor!) I did shop too, but this was afterwards, the kindness was just human & genuine when I was stressed. I would like to nominate the staff here for a KINDNESS AWARD”

“Very impressed with Currys. I wanted a pair of headphones, but I wanted them straight away and didn’t want to wait for postage, ordering online. I hoped that they would have what I wanted, and they did! Also, the price I paid was just as good as I had seen from online retailers, so no compromise there. What surprised me most was how helpful and knowledgeable the staff were. I’m not sure what I was expecting, but as soon as I started looking at the various options in store, an assistant came straight up and offered to help. I was very impressed with her knowledge of the products, and she asked a couple of questions to better understand exactly what I needed and wanted. She was then able to recommend a pair which I bought and I’ve been very happy with, at just the right price point. In an age when it’s so easy and convenient to buy online, I’ve been reminded how much nicer it is, and in some ways, a better experience, to buy in-person.”

I travel 2 to 3 months a year, I like that I am able to suspend my membership while I am away (for £5.00 per month). Staff are a quite young, they would benefit from a little customer care training such as acknowledging you as you leave, being more present in the gym.”
