“Popped in tonight for a few pints. Bar staff were lovely. The gentleman (Stephen) behind the bar poured me a great Guinness 0.0. And the lady (India) was gorgeous and so friendly. Will definitely pop back to see them both.”

“After coming here with three friends twice a week since Lucy opened up the Italian Coffee Shop, I thought it time to say that this little gem in Shoreham is what it is because of the way Lucy runs this place single handedly. It's spotlessly clean despite her being busy the whole time whilst handling often large parties of people. lovely coffee is presented beautifully with a small glass of water and a biscuit. Food and delicious cakes as well as afternoon cream teas etc are all prepared and served with the same care and attention. Hopefully, the counterpart of the adjoining Tosca's restaurant, fully appreciate what they have in this hard working lady. The coffee shop is managed so efficiently by the welcoming, smiling Lucy that I thought she really deserves a rave review. Well done to you. Both yourself and Tosca's should be very proud of not only your efficiency, but your warm and friendly hospitality. A rare combination these days. This place just wouldn't be the same without you. D. “Nice, homely atmosphere. The owners are really lovely and great company. The owner's father fought in WWII and he has a fantastic display of military uniforms and photos. Even the music is from that era, which was quite relaxing and enjoyable.”

“I ordered Shawerma and lamb grilled plater with hummos and yoghurt and Chips with salad on side, it was delicious i enjoyed the meal, salad was fresh, Shawerma and lamb were Juicyyyy loved the service inside the restaurant, they were fast, very respectful and understanding, they even asked me if i have any allergies before ordering!!”

“Nestled between trusty M&S, McDonald’s and Tesco in Holmbush Shopping Centre, you wouldn’t think such great coffee would be being brewed. But clearly you can’t judge a coffee shop by its location! Great drinks menu and mouthwatering treat selection. Who doesn’t need a caffeine/sugar spike after a big shop?!”

“The best Sunday roast I've had in ages. The lamb shank fell of the bone, there was no fat or gristle. The potatoes crispy and plenty of veg on the plate. We each had a large gravy boat full of delicious gravy. Also we had a large dish of cauliflower cheese to share. The staff were very polite and friendly. I would definitely go back again.”

“I joined primarily to use the gym. It is well equipped, never too busy and has a friendly atmosphere. The membership is good value. Overall I am very impressed.”

“Had my sons 5th birthday here on the obstacle course inflatables with 20 odd kids. Couldn't be happier with the service, staff and facilities! Well organised, we were allowed to view the inflatables and party rooms before booking. The week before, we had a talk through of what happens on the day. Clean facilities, happy staff, trollie for presents, kids group photo organised by staff...and all felt safe. Party room was huge, and it was equipped with a music system and tables and benches. Loads of free parking. Couldn't recommend this place enough and took the stress out of everything. Well done everyone and thank you!”

“We were welcomed by the staff warmly, shown to a table and our drinks arrived promptly. The food was very good and very well presented. Two had the steak pie, delicious, two friends had the Bok Burger which looked fab and tasted great too! Our other friend had Thyme chicken breast, tender and tasty. “We had a lovely experience from start to finish. We called to see if they had food and the lady on the phone was so nice and accommodating and chose a lovely table for us. The smoked chicken Sunday roast was amazing. Something we've never had before! And we had the pancakes for dessert, one word: WOW! Best dessert ever. The chef obviously put a lot of love into that. I'm sure we'll be back if we're in the area. Thanks to all the staff for being so kind on a Sunday evening.”

“We absolutely love this place! The food is always delicious, and the service is fantastic. Kelly goes above and beyond to make every customer happy — she’s a star. The only downside is the drinks selection — it’s a bit disappointing that they don’t serve fresh orange juice. For a lovely spot that’s perfect for Sunday brunch, you’d expect fresh juice rather than canned or bottled. Other than that, it’s a great place overall!”

“Excellent pub and the best in Hove by a long way. The selection and quality of real ales is outstanding. The atmosphere is warm, friendly and relaxed. The sports screens are a huge plus for a rugby/cricket fan like myself. I've only eaten at the Blind Busker twice in the three years that I've been going there so I can't really comment on the food. A very clean establishment with good decor. Amy and her team are spot on with their hospitality...and they always remind me about my real ale loyalty card (buy 6 & get a 7th free). If you are nearby on the day then give this pub a visit, I'd be surprised if you were disappointed .”
