βWelcoming, friendly and helpful. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful facility offering a huge collection or free activities to local parents.β
βHighly recommended spot, the location and atmosphere are very friendly and fantastic. Service and staff are super professional and engaging and food was very worth the price paid! Will definitely be backβ
βCome here quite often and itβs always a lovely vibe. Even when itβs busy, you can tell the staff care about making sure you are comfortable. Garden is spacious (two halves with multiple levels) and amazing in the sun & food is always tasty. Friendly robins in the garden, if youβre lucky to see them land on a nearby table & upstairs is a great place to watch the local pigeons as they love to sit on the mini balconies on the windows β€οΈβ
βNice little local shop! Absolutely friendly and very reasonable price with a wide range of products. Iβll definitely come here again if I need any party stuff!β
βSpoke with Ella on the phone today, she was very helpful in giving me some rates per m2 for a couple of Chauncey's products. Getting an indication of rough costs per m2 can prove difficult with many suppliers but Ella was brilliant and supplied them over the phone with no trouble at all!β
βImprov Lab is just outstanding. The βfacilitatorβ Ash was perfect, gave us confidence and inspiration to enjoy every week of the course; never a dull moment. It was a fun (usually hilarious) but meaningful experience for me as well as the other participants who were , without exception wonderful people. Highly recommend it to build confidence and forget your troubles!β
βWe absolutely love Toytastik! They always have wonderful games and toys stocked, including environmentally and sustainable toys, which we are passionate about. Liv & Liz are always so personal and friendly, willing to go the extra mile and offer advice any time! We were recognised from the second time we set foot in the shop and Liv's knowledge of the children of Chepstow and the surrounding area and the toys they love best is extremely impressive!! Always try to buy here instead of online as they are such a fantastic shop with wonderful values and great quality! Highly recommend!β
βBoth of my children attended Sunbeams, and I couldnβt be happier with the experience. The team is wonderfully supportive and worked closely with us to create a warm, nurturing environment where my kids could thrive. We are truly grateful for their dedication and hard work.β
βLittle Minds has been a wonderful and caring nursery for my son. Heβs made little friendships, been on all sorts of adventures, created a lot of craft, and always comes out with a smile on his face. Laura and her team have made a brilliant place for little people, and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again!β
βHarcourt is an absolute gem. The staff is incredible. They go above and beyond to include and welcome all children, whatever stage they are at with their socialising journey. They are so creative with the activities they offer children. It really has a community atmosphere, we are incredibly grateful we have had a space for our two children.β
βMy daughter started half way through the preschool year and she loves it so much! They made the transition so easy for her and made us all feel very welcome from the first day. We love how much they get involved with the local town, visiting the library, litter picking, using the local parks, visiting a local care home. My 11 month old is starting next week and I know she is going to be so well looked after.β
βI canβt thank the kind staff and volunteers enough for the care they offer to their community. Mum loves her days there and looks forward to the contact with all her Peggy Dodd friends.β
βI cannot speak highly enough of this nursery. Our children have attended for 2+ years and we've now experinced all three levels - baby, toddler, and preschool. In each level, our children have had exceptional relationships with the staff, who are professional, attentive carers. The carers engage gently with children, and we appreciate their skills in addressing issues and communicating with parents. They create a calm, home-like atmosphere and encourage creativity, collaboration and friendships between the children. Their forest school area is fantastic - you get the best of a regular nursery and a forest school in one place, with children able to be outside almost every day either in the outdoor play area or the forest. Their staff post frequent updates and photos to be able to see what the children are doing throughout their day. The admin treat us with respect and they are professional and prompt in responding to issues. But most important - our children adore this place. They talk about their carers when they are at home, and they are happy to go and see their friends. They tell us about seeing squirrels and playing in the forest.β
βOur son has had the absolute best time at Redcliffe, they provide so many leaning experiences, fab trips to the forest, good varied food and a fabulous garden. His imagination and confidence has grown so much and he is fully prepared for his next adventure at primary school. We will miss this nursery so much!β
βWe hired the main hall for our sons birthday party and absolutely loved it. It is clean and spacious. The staff are brilliant, helpful and friendly. We will be using it again and recommending it to our friends.β
βMy son has been attending Ambourne for over a year, since he was 1. He enjoys going and I can drop him off knowing he is happy there. All the staff are incredibly friendly - Iβve always loved how they greet my son by name no matter which room they work in or their role in the nursery. The nurseryβs Montessori approach is what makes them stand out from other local nurseries. We particularly like the fact the children are encouraged to spend time outdoors either in their lovely natural garden or on little trips e.g to the park or to feed the ducks. The communication from staff is brilliant; they give useful information on what my son has done each day (verbal handover and via Tapestry) as well as regular βparents eveningsββ
βI am just about to enroll my third child into Little Willows nursery. A new nursery has opened much closer to me but I still want to make the journey across town to Little Willows because I know and trust them and can't fault the way they run the place and what they have done for our children so far. All the staff are polite and friendly and seem to love working there. They are all friends with each other and that really creates a great atmosphere. I value their opinion and often ask them over my health visitor!! They were as excited as my family were when we told them no.3 was on the way! Very flexiable - you can move or add days if there is availability. They really get to know your children and how to handle them to help them grow. Thank you Little Willows! Keep up the good work xβ
βWe came for a visit, to find a respite or maybe permanent stay for Mum. We were made very welcome and were impressed by all the facilities and activities that are available. The atmosphere was friendly and we witnessed lovely interactions between staff and residents. Promoting independence was also obvious in the breakfast area ( self serve cereals if the residents wish to do so). Very clean and tidy and the bistro is a lovely area to sit and have a drink.β
βWe had our little boys 2nd birthday party at Whirlikidz this evening and it was absolutely lovely! The whole place was spotlessly clean, and welcoming. Having the private hire made it really special, and the children had the best time exploring the soft play. The staff were so friendly and helpful throughout, making everything run smoothly- from playtime to the cake cutting. The hot food buffet was brilliant, plenty of choice, and the kids especially loved finishing off with ice cream. Thank you for helping us create such happy memories for our sons special day.β
βAlways very impressed by the layout and cleanliness of PlayShed. Our kids love it (5+8), always plenty for them to do, and a table the wife and I can sit and have a coffee too. Food is nice tooβ
βIt's a lovely atmosphere, great selection, always stocked. Come in for well-priced general quality of life merchandise, or that little niche item to make yourself laugh. Cannot recommend their wireless headphones enough for the gym, durable, long battery, good audio and they stay firmly on your head, comfortablyβ
βSteve recently completed a full bathroom renovation for us and we could not be happier. Weβve used Steveβs services for many years now and never been less than satisfied with any job he has done for us. Steve is an expert at what he does and will always give you honest guidance and advice on the best way to use your space. Heβs reliable, trustworthy, friendly and always on time. Cannot recommend more highly and definitely worthy of βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ Thanks Steve. Lisa and Ant.β
βWhat a lovely, friendly team Kaya and co are. I felt really welcomed (which sometimes isnβt the case as a solo diner) and the food was tasty. Perfect Sunday fare! Thanks all.β
βWe brunched here on Sunday. It was busy but you would still find tables. Lot of tables around :) Food was tasty. Nice ambience. Lot of children around :) Pets are welcome :) Price is slightly on a higher side, but overall experience is satisfying. Nice desserts and cakes too :)β
βA beautiful spot to tour and relax in Bath. The entrance is an easy bus ride or an uphill walk. Staff and volunteers are friendly and informative. I went at opening time and had the place mostly to myself for a bit and it never became crowded. The walk around the park is nice and worth doing, but not a must-do. My favorite part was sitting in on the reclining chairs reading and enjoying the view and the birds.β
βLovely place in nice surroundings in the Park. A few niggles nothing too bad. Food is excellent. Young staff members donβt try to hard to look for you so stay alert lol. You order food and drink outside the cafe so bag a table first. All in all a little oasis from the high street.β
βWe hired hall to discuss the exaplary life of prophet jesus/isa pbuh.. hall was good enough for 25 people, facilities were good like kitchen, tables and chairs and windows through out. Staff is niceβ
βGreat club, both children really enjoyedβ
βWeβve done many soft play parties having 4 daughters (all based in Cheltenham). We had not heard of Go Bananas before, but our eldest had previously visited with her grandparents and asked if we could have a party there. We can confidently say that it has been by far the best in terms of staff warmth/helpfulness and party preparedness. The room was decorated beautifully (we have always had to decorate our own previously) and the food was really nicely presented - highlights being dinosaur and unicorn shaped sandwiches and marshmallows with sprinkles, on lovely afternoon tea platters etc (in Cheltenham they are in plastic trays). It was clear that they really wanted to make the tea special. Birthday girl also received a tiara which was a nice touch. Was also very good terms of price compared to other places weβve been. My husband and I were very pleased given that we hired it with approx 3 days notice. 100% recommend.β
βGood quality local children's center, staff are great and caring. If you could skip the rush hour this is a convenient place to check childrens helth checks!β
