“Service was immaculate. Breakfast and evening meal were amazing. Reception staff went above and beyond. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. Room was spacious and had a great view over the water. Close to the city centre everything was a stones throw a way. The pool closed the week before we came which was a little disappointing but didn’t really affect us as there was plenty in the area to do. Thanks to the Holland House team for making our weekend so amazing.”

“Staff is very kind and very attentive with our little boy. He has been there since he was 6 months old and has always been treated with a lot of affection and attention. We often receive photos of what he does during the day, the activities that are offered to him help him develop a lot and it is always respecting his pace. The staff takes the time every day to tell us about his day and is really attentive to his well-being. Everyday he goes there with the smile, we are very glad we found this nursery for him. Food they give is also good and he eats different varieties of dishes which is nice for his development as well.”

“I absolutely love Nuffield Bristol North - I teach Zumba, Kids Multi-circuit and Fitness Pilates here and have done for may years. The club is super friendly, both members and staff with up to date equipment plus 100's of awesome classes with enthusiastic instructors like me! There's a creche, kids classes, swimming lessons which makes the club perfect for families and it's a really good price if you look around and compare clubs. Come to my class and say 'hello' - I'd love to help you on your fitness journey.”

“I have just received exceptional service from this store. I have mobility issues and couldn't return a faulty TV. One of the manager came to deliver me a new one and then took the old one away. He was really friendly and really happy to help. Thank you so much”

“Placed a order for a bistro set but had to collect this from another store the other side of down. Well parts missing and was really disappointed , rang the store were I collected it from but no help. Then did one of those live chats and it was like talking to a robot and almost gave up. Decided to come to my local store in Filton and met a lovely young man called Chris who went above and beyond , great customer service, so friendly, helpful and very professional. I can not recommend this store enough, every time I have shopped here the staff have also been brilliant but today was even more so , can’t thank you enough.”

“For our daughter’s 10th birthday party we needed entertainment that was suitable for children of mixed ages and abilities, as our daughter & some of her school friends attend a specialist school. Yet other friends and family do not have the same needs. DJ Kool Kidz filled us with confidence from the very first email correspondence, with their personable yet professional responses. They assured us that our daughter & her friends would be in great hands. They have years of experiences delivering parties to a vast range of children and that certainly shone through for my daughter’s party. As Clare & Alan effortlessly embraced all children, they even had the grown ups on their feet dancing! I cannot recommend them enough. They made my daughter’s first ever party magical. It was important for us that all our little guests were included & felt seen & had fun & that was certainly the case. I don’t often leave reviews but Alan & Clare exceeded expectations, this felt the least we could do. Don’t hesitate! Book them today.”

“Pitch Up and Play provided an incredible crèche service for our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Isabella, Toni and Sandy took wonderful care of our children as well as our family’s children, creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment. Communication before the wedding was excellent, and it was especially thoughtful to receive profiles of the nannies that were looking after our children ahead of the day. This allowed the children to learn a bit about them and see their photos in advance, which really helped them feel comfortable and excited to meet them. Isabella, Toni and Sandy arrived fully prepared with a fantastic range of toys, games, and craft activities to suit the different ages and interests of all the children. Our youngest daughter, 2, had never spent time in a crèche setting prior to our wedding day, so I was apprehensive about how she would react to being left to play without a familiar adult, however she was completely at ease and happy to be left and immediately engaged with the Isabella, Toni and Sandy. Additionally their warmth, professionalism, and experience shone through, and every child was happy, entertained, and completely at ease in their care. Having Pitch Up and Play with us made a huge difference, allowing us and our guests to relax and fully enjoy the celebration. We are so grateful to them all, for the wonderful service they provided and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for childcare support at an event. Thank you all so much ❤️”

“I had the most lovely afternoon tea (the special Valentine’s weekend edition) at Ashwell & Co! The space is a perfect mix of vintage eclectic and tea room, great music for ambiance, and the food was lovely! I go to many afternoon teas (it’s a bit of an obsession) so I have pretty high expectations at this point. I liked, since they only serve vegetarian sandwiches, that you get a lighter change of pace from traditional tea sandwiches, but the sweets are really the stars. The scone was so lovely, one of the better I’ve had in a while, homemade clotted cream and delicious moist cakes. To top it all off the price is incredibly reasonable for the food and service experience! Excited to come back in the future.”

There is such a good range of lovely, carefully curated and thoughtful gifts for children of all ages, and a very good selection for neurodivergent children. You can just tell the owners really love and understand children. Everything bought online arrives beautifully packaged and is delivered quickly. It's my go-to place every Christmas and I recommend it to everyone!”

“Really tasty pizza, with plenty of other options - sub sandwiches etc. Had the quattro formaggio which was excellent, with several different chilli oils. Roman pizza with anchovies capers and olives also very good. House red was great and good price. Definitely will be back.”

“I've been walking in leigh woods for 40 + years, and it has changed alot in that time, you now have to pay for parking but you can't always get a phone signal, there are no public toilets the nearest being a short drive away at Ashton Court , a lovely woodland walk with different trails to suit all levels”
