“Celebrating 55 years this October and still run by the family. I have been going here since it first opened, I was a teenager then, and I'd still one of my favourite Bristol shops. Now even more favoured by the charming time spent talking to the husband and wife staff in the forces surplus section. My Vietnamese friend and his son enjoyed it too and when my friend said that he had fought the Americans during the Vietnam war as part of the Viet Kong I thought we might never stop them talking but time was against us and now there is camouflage clothing bought and one day soon it will be taken to China. A present for my friend's brother. Keep up the good work guys. This shop is so special. If you are reading this review and you have never been then do go. It's not simply military. It is all things outdoors on different floors.”

“This was a lovely little shop. I was wandering around all the shops and popped in here, but ended up staying for ages because there was so much to look at. Their vintage options were brilliant, and well organised into different sections. The prices were also reasonable around £18-£33 for the jumpers I was looking at. The staff were also super friendly, asking if I needed help and complimenting my bag charm.”

The teams customer service was faultless and the swiftness of the process was great. The manager's advice on a suitable replacement was hugely appreciated. “Kept forgetting to leave a review - we were served by Danielle a few weeks ago and she was absolutely lovely and super knowledgable. Had a fairly simple repair (bike chain replacement) on an old bike, and she was more than happy to do this for us despite us not having a booking. She also recommended us some oils for maintaining the bike which have been very useful. Overall, super knowledgeable staff with lots of experience - will definitely be back if (when!) my old relic of a bike has a problem again haha”
