“This was for a pre booked Christmas meal with family. Great food and service and the table looked nice with runner and crackers. The only thing missing was, once we were seated, no one came to just greet us and let us know how long food would be, etc. Otherwise everything was great. Thank you”
“This place is a gem. Halal and vegetarian. Right next to a mosque for easy access for prayer. Nice devour and table service, can't fault it to be honest. Update:2021 The place has been refurbished and the food is as great as ever. Managed well during the pandemic and and still as vibrant and energised as ever. A real microcosm of Easton. Can get busy on Fridays in particular.”
“We brunched here on Sunday. It was busy but you would still find tables. Lot of tables around :) Food was tasty. Nice ambience. Lot of children around :) Pets are welcome :) Price is slightly on a higher side, but overall experience is satisfying. Nice desserts and cakes too :)”
“Rating this five stars solely on the elderflower spritz. Speedy service and online ordering, EVERYBODY GO GET AN ELDERFLOWER SPRITZ NOW!!!!!!”
“Impero Lounge is right on the High Street in the heart of Portishead, perfect to stop in before a jaunt around the harbour. They’re on a corner with huge floor-to-ceiling windows (that open right up) wrapped around two sides, flooding the vaulted interiors with light. There’s a lovely terrace out the front too, perfect for watching the world go by. They’ve a fantastic range of food and drinks (including full kids, gluten-free and vegan menus) served in this relaxed, welcoming space. Look out for their mural celebrating Portishead’s old power station and lighthouse. Which is apt, as they’re a bit of a powerhouse and a shining beacon for the hungry and thirsty people of Portishead.”
“Fantastic food. Very friendly and happy staff members upon arrival and during service. Ella cooked my food brilliantly and set me up perfectly for the rest of my day. The backroom staff Rory, Emma and Tony all came in to check up on me throughout my meal and stay, just ensure it was to my liking. I can highly recommend this place to anyone who is passing by or to anyone living locally. Who doesn't know about this place I'm definitely coming back!”
“Lovely afternoon treat at the 'Modiste' to round off a weekend in Bath including a Bridgerton Walking Tour. We were drawn in by the affiliation with the show but the food was truly delicious, the quiche, sausage roll and cakes were shared were lovely. Friendly staff and a brilliant location.”
“I tried many croissants in Europe and UK, and trust me they have one of the best Almond Croissants. Definitely worth a try, my mouth waters everytime I think of their Croissant.”
“Absolutely fantastic in every way. The service was excellent the food was exceptional. We had a voucher for birthday Prosecco and a voucher for some money off. The staff applied the 12.5% service charge after all the discount had come off which is crazy as it left them with a very poor £1.50 tip! Sort that out management. We obviously left a proper tip as the servers, Tillie and Hannah were great and the food (fish pie) best I ever had! Reasonable price for the quality. Better than the Ivy!”
“One of the best Ivy locations in the UK—not just in terms of ambience, but also because the quality of food is spot-on. The service is impeccable, and the restaurant is right in the heart of Bath city centre. It’s buzzing throughout the day, and whenever you walk in, it’s always busy. Every time I’m in Bath, I make sure to have at least one meal here. Reservations aren’t required in the mornings, even on weekends. Breakfast is served until 11 am on weekends and until 11:30 am on weekdays, with an excellent English breakfast available.”
“Fantastic cakes, coffee, and service. The owner/barista is always friendly, and bakes the sweets herself. They are welcoming regarding wifi/ laptop usage, which I've found to be rare in Clifton, so long as you respect that you should move along if you're done with your coffee and new customers need a seat (which I would do regardless, but they have polite signage). The cafe is very clean, bright, and a calming space. I'm a third wave coffee fan, and the coffee strikes a good balance that I can enjoy a cup as much as my husband who enjoys a bit darker roast. Cannot stress enough how fresh and phenomenal the cakes are. We are newly relocated to Bristol, and this is certainly my new neighborhood go-to. Shameless photos included of the ridiculous amount of cakes we've tried so far (gotta taste 'em all!), but as folks here testify, the strawberry bakewell is the superstar.”
“Excellent location, easy 10 min stroll into town. The addition of parking was a welcome bonus, along with a late check out of 11am. We were in room 5, lovely spacious room, view over the green towards the Cathedral. We didn't hear any night traffic or noise on our stay so that was nice. Little kitchen area, with Kettle and Fridge. My only 'complaint' would be there wasn't enough tea bags for us, only 2 'normal' tea, rest were herbal but that's a big deal really. Would definitely stay here again if the occasion arose.”
“Been going to this coffee shop regularly for the last 7 months since I moved locally. Great service and great quality coffee and snacks overall. But the main reason for my review is to shoutout the lady with short brown hair and glasses (sorry never caught her name) she makes the best cappuccinos at the perfect temperature every time! The shop also sells duck food which I love.”
“Had a very nice large breakfast here, dog friendly can sit in the courtyard weather permitting. Misses enjoyed her sausage and egg bap. Cakes looked yummy. Didn't look in the shop”
“Very welcoming and kind place. The staff is very helpful and kind. I wish to see more places like this. We will come back for sure Cakes were nice too. Thanks for the great atmosphere as well”
“I went in last Saturday and received lovely service from the barista with curly brown hair who helped me choose from the vegan cakes. Will definitely be back again! The rest of the staff were lovely too and clearly worked efficiently as a team.”
“I'll be honest with you, I had a burger here and it was top 5 best burgers I've ever had in my life. Need to come back to make sure it wasnt a fluke. Will be back soon. Definitely recommended. Been thinking about it a lot. I went to another pub and had a burger there but all I kept thinking about was the burger from the Horseshoe. I'm in bed thinking about it now. Ridiculous.”
“Great little cafe. Delicious smoothie bowl! Just be aware there's pretty much no seating inside though.”
“I really liked this place. The coffee was good, flat white as usual but impressed me most was the sourdough toast, best I've had for quite a while, loose butter not fiddly little packs and more than enough for the 4 half slices. Check out the full menu which are brunchy. Polite service with a smile.”
“One of my favourite stores to buy hot chocolate powder. We can buy it for ourselves or as a souvenir/gift for family or friends. Many variety of chocolate, and tea to choose. The store provides free sample of hot chocolate, hot white chocolate, and some hot teas. The staff was friendly, and helpful. Toilets for customers are not available.”
“So so good!!! One of the best pistachio croissants I’ve ever had. Also got a yummy beef and potato pasty and a chocolate croissant swirl bread. They have quite a big selection of other pastries as well. Highly recommend if you’re in Bath.”
“The tea room at Dyrham Park is a lovely place to stop and relax. The tea and coffee are excellent, and the staff are always friendly and helpful – it really adds to the whole visit.”
“Easy access for anyone good food load's of shopping massivel display so much to choose from more than enough garden plants and other a good choice of menu”
“Afternoon tea with friends. Staff very friendly, covid safe environment. Hot sunny day, so lovely spacious garden was in use. Selection if sandwiches, cakes and scone with accompaninents. Prosecco tea also available. Reasonable price. Recommend.”
“Really clean place and tasty home cooked food I will definitely be eating there again 10 out of 10 from me”
“Lovely cafe, in a fantastic family friendly setting. Good quality simple food cooked really well plus decent coffee and great cakes. Not crazy expensive either. Can't go wrong really. Only downside is that if it rains there's not much seating and it's so popular everyone piles in!”
“A lovely little place right on the edge of Cabot. Usual Caffe Nero stuff, but friendly service, and usual great coffee. Plenty of seats outside, which is quite surprising for where it is. It's opposite maccies ... I'll often get food from there, but sit to have it with a great coffee! If you're that side of things and need a brew, pop in, you'll be very welcomed Don't forget to use your stamp card or app”
“Excellent service from the team here! Special mention to Dein who always remembers my order & makes me feel so welcome.”

“Being a lover of Turkish food, I had found this restaurant whilst I was staying near Filton. I had the cold meze platter and it was delicious, as was the bread and the ayran. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back, Tesekkur ederim.”
