“This curry house is an absolute gem! This place is my cup of the tea!! The owner even gave us a free cake and free pudding. The food is packed with incredible flavor—every curry tastes fresh, rich, and perfectly spiced. From the creamy kormas to the fiery vindaloos, every dish feels like it’s been cooked with real care and attention to detail. The naan bread is soft and warm, and the sides are just as delicious as the mains. What makes this place truly special, though, are the owners. They’re so warm and welcoming, treating every guest like family. They always take the time to chat, recommend dishes, and make sure you’re enjoying your meal. Their kindness and hospitality turn a simple dinner into a memorable experience. If you’re looking for fantastic food served by genuinely lovely people, this is the place to go. Can’t wait to come back!”
“Had a birthday dinner here. Was phenomenal. All the negative reviews aren’t accurate of the current quality and experience which is Rajs. People who left a bad review clearly came with very high expectations.”
“Stumbled on this great place to eat by accident. Happy we did food was very good and service was also great. Didn’t have a reservation and the place was full as it appears the locals know it’s great offerings.”
“Absolutely blown away by our experience at Salkaara Street. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and enthusiasm, and the atmosphere immediately set the tone for what turned out to be an incredible meal. The interior is absolutely brilliant — the walls are decorated with traditional Indian film posters, which gives the place so much charm and character. It’s vibrant, fun, and full of personality, just like the food. Let’s start with the service. Viven, our server, was outstanding. An absolute gem of a guy with a cracking mustache to match. He was attentive without being overbearing, checking in on us throughout the evening to make sure everything was spot on. It’s clear he takes pride in what he does, and that made our experience all the more enjoyable. Friendly, professional, and just a genuinely nice bloke. Now, onto the food — every single dish we had was exceptional. I started off with a mango lassi, and it was exactly what you’d hope for: cold, creamy, and incredibly refreshing. It was the perfect way to kick things off. The poppadoms arrived next with a trio of chutneys. I was especially taken with the mango and red sauce — sweet, tangy, and bursting with flavor. The mint sauce was just as good, cool and herby with a perfect balance to the spice. Honestly, I could’ve just kept eating those all evening. The Agni wings were a real highlight. Packed with flavor and heat, they had just the right amount of kick to get your tastebuds going. They were so good I found myself chewing on the bones at one point, not wanting to miss a single bit of that fiery, rich marinade. Next up, I had a lamb naan which paired beautifully with the chicken tikka I ordered. The naan was soft with a slightly crisp edge and filled with that deliciously spiced lamb. It went down an absolute treat. The chicken tikka itself was perfectly cooked — tender, juicy, and infused with that signature smoky tandoori flavor. Served with a portion of pulao rice that was fluffy, fragrant, and just the right texture, the whole dish came together beautifully. The sauce that accompanied it was rich and savory, tying everything together into a truly satisfying main course. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. The food was delicious, the portions generous, the ambiance vibrant, and the service absolutely top tier. A special shout out once again to Viven — if he’s not running the place, he should be. The man knows how to look after his guests and clearly takes pride in making people feel welcome and well-fed. Great food, great service, great price. Salkaara Street has definitely earned a spot on my list of favorites. I’ll absolutely be back.”
“Wow wow wow!!!! A vegan variety taste sensation!! Without doubt the best meal I’ve ever had. My party shared a multitude of dishes, all were beyond delicious!! So affordable too. I’m tempted to fly back from NZ just to experience this wonderful evening again! Staff were warming helpful and so friendly and the ambience was magical. The whole package. I will most definitely be back!! Yuuuum!!!”
“Had a great experience at Moguls in Clevedon. The staff were really friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in, which made the whole evening feel relaxed and comfortable. The restaurant itself was spotless and nicely presented, clean, cozy, and with a lovely atmosphere. Now onto the food, absolutely delicious. I ordered the Bengal Massala, keema rice, and a cheese chilli naan bread, and every dish was spot on. The Bengal Massala was packed with flavour, rich, slightly spicy with just the right balance of sweetness and heat. You could taste the depth of the spices, and the meat was tender and cooked to perfection. The keema rice was a great accompaniment, full of savoury minced lamb that added extra flavour to each bite without overpowering the main dish. But the real standout for me was the cheese chilli naan bread. Soft, fluffy, and loaded with gooey cheese and just the right kick of chilli heat. It had such a kick that I ended up ordering a second naan just to keep up – it was spicy but so addictive. All in all, a fantastic meal and great service. Definitely recommend Moguls if you’re in the Clevedon area and craving a quality curry night”
“Best chinese takeaway! We love the food here and always have enough for another meal, the portions are very generous. Staff is always kind as well. Thank you so much!”
“We had our Ladies Networking Christmas lunch here today and it was absolutely delicious! We had our own space which was really lovely and the service was fab too! Thank you for a very enjoyable afternoon!”
“Great food and great service! Really nice front of house staff and very reasonable prices! Can highly recommend the Naga chicken. Byo as well which is perfect ✨ Will definitely be back.”
“Great food with friendly service. I had the chicken on French fries. The chicken was tender and flavorful and the toppings were fresh. Great deal for the price.”
“We booked this place for the time as a group of 10 and had a great evening. The service was top notch and the food was amazing. We will definitely be heading back again and would recommend this place. It’s not anything fancy in terms of the place itself but the service and food was superb!”
“Walked a different route home and was starving. Don't let the simple exterior fool you. I tried the chicken cafrael as it sounded delicious and it really was incredible as were the chips. Insane value for money. 3 big bits of chicken and chips for £7. Must be the cheapest / tastiest food in Bristol. Highly recommend. I'll be back to sample the rest of the menu”
“Great take away! Really friendly staff and food was excellent. Ordered a variety of food and would definitely go back. Menu has loads of options from the classics to more unique.”
“Found this place as we were traveling around the Cotswolds. What a find! Tiny, unassuming and very reasonable. Reminded me of my local dosa place in Delhi. We had the masala dosa, chole bhature, vada pav, a plate of idli. Each of them faultless, packed with flavours and generous portions. We washed it all down with mango lassie and ended with some cham cham. Wish we lived closer.”
“Another great find in Bristol. We had a warm welcome and spoke with Amir, the owner, who was very passionate about the restaurant and its menu. We ordered the Tawa Platter which was for 2-3 people but could easily have fed four so we took quite a bit home. Divine lamb chops, delicious spicy kebabs, succulent chicken tikka and loads more, not to mention the large family naan. On our list for a revisit!”
“Excellent place to get some lunch! Every food is very tasteful. Everything is freshly made. The staff are extremely kind and helpful. Value for money!”
“Found by accident but so happy we did! Perfect chai for a hot day teamed with a flaky well stuffed samosa! Also had a wrap which was delicious. Really great value for money and really tasty food! Definitely worth a visit! Note there is no seating but there are parks and benches near by!”
“Food was delicious and the gentleman helping us was very accommodating despite the odd hour we stopped by. I was so happy with the taste. The naan was amazing! If you are in Bath definitely stop by!”
“Zalshah in Burnham-On-Sea is highly regarded for its Indian cuisine, offering a blend of traditional and modern dishes prepared with the finest ingredients”
“My second time eating here and once again not disappointed. The first time I was with a friend who is vegan and we ordered a selection of these dishes that were all wonderful. The next time I went with my husband and had a selection of meat and fish, all were absolutely delicious and freshly cooked. I had to order the kale pakoras again, they are amazing!”
“The team at Spice Dunes have been our regular curry house for a few years now. The food is always amazing and the service & friendliness of the staff is top notch! Can't recommend highly enough!”
“Great little place, staff were welcoming and friendly, food was fantastic. My first time there but will definitely go back. I had the honey chicken & pistachio dessert.”
“Always a fantastic mix of awesome food and welcoming staff. We order takeaway and have used this place three or four of times a year for the last 8 years and haven't had a bad experience. Food is always really fresh and well presented. 10/10”
“An old school restaurant experience in a modem setting. Lovely atmosphere, table cloths, napkins, and great service. Food is superb”
“The food is excellent, the staff are friendly and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. Perfect for a meal with your family or friends. One of my favourite places to eat in Bristol.”
“Decided to go for a last minute meal out on a Saturday. Contacted the restaurant in the morning to reserve and so glad we did! Very small, intimate Indian restaurant set in an old wine cellar. The waiting staff were just the correct level of attentive. The music was just loud enough to drown out the discussions around you without being too loud and the found was delicious. Service was perfect. Each dish came perfectly timed after the next and like always we couldn’t go to an Indian without having some poppadoms to start! Meal was great from start to finish. Will definitely be returning.”
“Picked up a takeaway recently. One of the best Brístol curries I’ve had. Each of our curries tasted really distinct - I had chicken Dhansak. Good portions. Great nan and popadoms too. Looking forward to coming back.”
“Had a lovely meal here last night! Food was fantastic, staff really friendly and attentive! A really nice place!”
“Absolutely amazing food. Made with real love I tried nearly everything on the menu. Great atmosphere dined in with church friends for a catch up. Would definitely recommend this place well worth the drive. Family friendly and tunes. With much appreciation and thanks for my lovely dinner.”
“We visited this restaurant as a group of four – myself, my son, and his family – and I must say it was a true feast for the senses! The food was absolutely delicious, full of unique flavors and aromas that are hard to describe in words. The portions were so generous and satisfying that we couldn’t even finish everything – which was a shame, because every bite was simply outstanding. The Indian cuisine here is pure mastery – from the spices to the freshness of the ingredients, everything is perfected down to the smallest detail. The service was incredibly warm and helpful, and we felt completely at home. You can really tell that the owners put their hearts into what they do and genuinely care about their guests’ satisfaction. An added bonus is that you can bring your own wine or beer, which makes the evening even more special. The whole atmosphere was warm, friendly, and welcoming. I wholeheartedly recommend this place – for me, it’s not just a restaurant, but a space where you can spend wonderful time with loved ones, enjoying excellent food and lovely service. I will definitely be back!”
