“My cousin and I stayed here this past week during the Jane Austen Festival and we could not have picked a better spot! We stayed in the building overlooking the square in a second floor room. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean and well appointed. Our room did not have AC but thanks to the fall weather, we were very comfortable with the windows open at night. The front desk staff were very kind and accommodating. We did not want to leave and will absolutely stay here when we come back to the festival!”

“If you ever wanted to explore bath and have a great room and an incredible breakfast, this is your place. We walked to town, which is about a mile away, although you can get a cab if you want. There's so much to explore the Roman baths and a real life Roman bath set up called "THERMAE" for you to have all the amenities that the Romans would've enjoyed.”

The weekend of the wedding, the team were incredible, nothing was too much to ask and they really looked after us and all our guests. I wish the walled garden had been promoted a little more as we didn't know it was there. Lovely free standing bath in our bathroom. Super fluffy towels. Lots of lovely little lounges to sit in and free tea/coffee and newspapers. I begrudge paying to park”

“6/5 All. Day. Long! Royal treatment from arrival to departure. It’s the little things - name placard on door, beautifully presented gifts on the bed, warm welcomes from every single staff member, gorgeous grounds and perfect cocktails and a lovely breakfast made this stay absolutely incredible. Walk everywhere (ok … downhill - but then just Uber up!) I felt bathed in luxury the entire time I was there. Large, well appointed rooms. Luxurious bed and bedding! And, very serene. Go live your own Bridgerton moment! You deserve it.”

“A last minute online search for a hotel resulted in a wonderful but brief stay at Harington's. Beautifully clean room with charming, quirky decor. Extremely comfortable bed with quality bedlinen. Very peaceful at night with no noise from the street. In the morning a delicious breakfast, cooked fresh to order with good coffee. Super service from all staff, especially the lady on reception as I arrived very late in the evening and she sent me two texts with information and to make sure I was on my way. I will definitely return and recommend to others. Only slight downside was the lack of black out blinds as the street lights did come through the curtains.”

“We were so surprised to have found this amazing gem of a place to stay. It is more like a boutique bed and breakfast (minus having to get up for the breakfast because they just give you a basket of food that is well stocked and replenished each day so you can eat whenever you feel like it - loved that!). There were a lot of nice details put into refurbishing the rooms so that there was no mold smell at all, despite being over 300 years old! The furnishing and decor were wonderful with an incredibly comfortable bed. I can't say enough about the hospitality and helpfulness of the staff, Marie was awesome! They do little things like welcoming you in advance of your stay to make you feel invited and thought of, and there are real people to respond to you when you write back. They respond immediately with a lot of help with any questions you ever have. AND it is in a great part of Bath, really easy walking distance to everything! When I 'googled' the street, it looked a little funky and maybe not very nice, but it was not that way at all, it's a great street! This has been the best place we've stayed thus far in England with a great price for what you get. I can't recommend it enough!”

“Hosts were extremely warm, welcoming and friendly. Cooked breakfast was second to none, with high quality ingredients. Rooms were clean, spacious, warm. Beds were very comfy. Location only 5 minutes by car to Keynsham train station. Plenty of car parking on site. Relatively quiet, despite being on a main road.”

“The Priory is local to us & we have thought about booking the restaurant for quite some time, but I find it hard to try new places. We were gifted a voucher for the restaurant last Xmas, so last week we finally used it. We booked via the website & added our usual request for quiet area as ASD. I have to say I was apprehensive, but I was very impressed. From the moment we arrived the service was excellent and the staff so friendly. I felt VERY comfortable here, which for a first visit, is high praise indeed! We sat in the panel room, with dark wood panelled walls. As they were quieter on the evening we came, they gave me a choice of table, which I really appreciated! (I would book this table again in the future!) We were looked after by David, & he was great - just the right balance of attentiveness! We chose from the three course set menu and the food was delicious. Hubby had cured smoked duck to start, I had smoked ham hock and jalapeño croquettes - the duck was so tender & the croquettes crispy & melty inside. We both had the pork loin for mains, with triple cooked chips & roasted Jerusalem artichokes to share. Again, we couldn’t fault anything. The pork loin was slightly pink and melted in your mouth, the chips were amazing & the artichokes were gorgeous. A great pairing! Finally we decided on the Orange & Almond cake & the cheese board to finish, which we also shared. Again, perfection! Another point for us is, as real ale drinkers, so often you find that restaurants in hotels skip on the cask ales, but The Priory have their own pale ale as well as one of our favourites - Bath Ales, Gem! Thank you for a lovely evening, our first visit but definitely not our last.”

“First time of staying here, was absolutely spot on, from checking in to checking out. Already booked again, was so impressed! There is a lift to the floors but also a few stairs too, although I was told and offered help. My room was just perfect. Very clean and comfy, bed was a delight. Lovely toiletries. Plenty of tea/coffee/milk etc. There was a fridge, what a bonus. I didn’t struggle with parking, yes £15 per 24hrs but it is what it is, I’ve paid lots more in Bath and it was a fair distance to walk to my accommodation. I personally didn’t sample any food. A great place to stay - highly recommend. Thank you to all concerned for making my stay so memorable”

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the attention to detail and the warm welcome I received from the staff. The room itself was beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and plenty of thoughtful touches that made me feel right at home. I especially appreciated the little kitchenette area, which was stocked with all the essentials for making a cup of tea or a light meal. The location of Hiding Space Bath UK is also fantastic - just a short walk from the city center, with plenty of great restaurants and shops nearby. And yet, despite its central location, the room was incredibly quiet and peaceful, making for a great night's sleep. Overall, I can't recommend Hiding Space Bath UK highly enough. “Stayed here a couple of times now. Fantastic service from the moment you arrive. Lovely rooms, great pub downstairs with entertainment, good food/drink selection and loads of board games you can take up to your room. Only a 15 min walk into the centre or a 5min taxi ride. Staff were fantastic. Will 100% stay again if we are back in the area.”

“Yesterday, Sunday 10/08/25, we booked a table for 7 for Sunday family Birthday lunch. Abby and the Swan Inn team were so friendly and accomodating. The Roasts were great, 6 large roasts dinners and one GF Roast for our eldest son. Drinks served at just the right times and the serving staff checking on our requirements. We had our 7 week old Grandson with us and the staff were excellent in their attentive care and we all enjoyed very good deserts afterwards. We are now regulars to The Swan Inn and highly recommend it for family and friends meals. Thanks, The Davey and Lawrence families.”

“A charming boutique hotel with beautiful interior design, very friendly staff, and spotless rooms. The breakfast team in particular deserves a shout-out - they were exceptional. As a VIP Member, I received early check-in and a complimentary glass of wine, plus 15% off food and beverages. Prices at the hotel are reasonable and the food quality is surprisingly good. Breakfast is served à la carte with a few selection of dishes, and you’re free to mix and match. I ordered Eggs Benedict and Eggs Royale during my stay - both were excellent. The only downsides were a broken faucet in the bathroom and the room being located on the lower ground floor (-1). Overall, a great place to stay and a perfect base for exploring Bath. #reviewbyafandi #tripbyafandi”

The next morning, we happily set off on our journey, but a few hours later we received a phone call from the hotel informing us that our jewellery box had been left in the room. Inside were my gold and pearl necklaces and other valuable items. Thanks to the honesty and professionalism of your staff — especially the housekeeping team — everything was kept safe and returned to us exactly as we left it, even after a month. We are truly impressed by the integrity, kindness, and excellent service we experienced.
