βThis campsite has it all! We loved our stay, excellent facilities that are immaculately maintained, great location, lovely friendly people. We will return and will recommend to others. I know it's all on the website anyway but we found the fridges and huge freezer really helpful for storing a few bits. Play facilities conveniently located in the middle of the campsite, good distance away from tents so not noisy but you can easily keep an eye on your kids. There's a washing machine there too and the woodfired pizzas that you can buy on Fridays and Saturdays were really good. We also recommend the pub the mill at rode, a few minutes away. Loads of great days out to be had, we enjoyed wookeyhole and trips to Frome, Wells and Shepton Mallet prison!β
βI'm really enjoying progressing in Animal Flow with Steph's expert coaching. She is determined to drive the best out of each of her students. As an experienced PT, Steph's key differentiator for me, is her ability to explain the WHY in addition to the WHAT and the HOW of each move. Loving it!β
βFantastic wine, and the atmosphere feels like being invited into someone's home. Very personal and friendly.β
βAlways a treat to have a haircut here. Coffee or cold one on arrival. Great stylists that do your hair.β
βThis place is the best. They listen to what you want, lovely staff who are easy to talk to and they're great with kids. Very cool too. You need to book ahead.β
βThe food was good and the place was nice enough but what really made it great was the service. The people working there are kind and friendly and did their best to make it an enjoyable experience.β
βA beautiful aquaduct spanning over the river and railway line. A nice but short walk from the nearby car park. Good trail leading from the car park so easy to push prams, wheelchairs etc. Interesting to see the barges going back and forth. Nearby is a cafΓ© for teas, coffees, snacks and ice creams. A stunning location for this amazing piece of engineering.β
βLove this hardware shop - everything reasonably priced and the staff are so helpful and lovelyβ
βWould definitely recommend this place for meals if you are visiting Bath. They serve very nicely cooked meals and have a nicely decorated environment for you to enjoy your meal. Must try their signature 3x handplyed scallop, with the green sauce and lemon, fresh and nicely cooked. They offer lunch set which we can have refillable yorkshire tea with a main course. Their cod fillet is fresh and juicy, with the green paste and sauce together, just perfect. Salmon fishcake is another recommended dish if you like salmon. Different texture but still nicely cooked. Overall portion is big together with the potato. Itβs a gem in Bath. We were seated on the open terrace, which can directly feel the chill in the air and direct sunlight. Mint chocolates come with the bill box is just nice as well. The waiter and waitress were very responsive and friendly from seating until leaving. Pet friendly restaurantβ
βWe absolutely love it here. There's so much to do for the dogs. My dogs love the sandpit. Its really easy to organise online and when I needed further help, they returned my query really quickly. There's a beautiful view to enjoy whilst walking the dogs too. Couldn't recommend enough.β
βJennifer greeted me when I first came in to do some research into buying a new mattress. She was absolutely charming and so knowledgeable. When I came back with my partner to buy a mattress, Zach helped us and was so helpful. His service was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Their manager of the store (forgotten his name sorry) was also incredibly helpful and lovely when we spoke with him at the end of the process. Thank you to the whole team who made a laborious and overwhelming task an absolute pleasure!β
βStayed her with the girlfriend for four days whilst we explored Bath and surrounding area. Mainly chose it because it was one the the few B&B's that offered a destination charger which we booked for the first and last night of our stay. Very convenient and meant we didn't need to rely on public chargers while in Bath. Rooms was very nice, breakfast was good with a choice of continental, cooked, or salmon/egg choices. Overall very happy and would definitely stay again.β
βIf you ever wanted to explore bath and have a great room and an incredible breakfast, this is your place. We walked to town, which is about a mile away, although you can get a cab if you want. There's so much to explore the Roman baths and a real life Roman bath set up called "THERMAE" for you to have all the amenities that the Romans would've enjoyed.β
βA great little theatre with steeply tiered seating, meaning you get an excellent view.β
βThe staff and facilities are all aligned to exceed expectations and it delivers. The listing states its a Bed & Breakfast. However, it performs like a 5 star hotel without the price tag. Book with confidence, this place is seriously good. The only thing I did not like, was having to leave.β
βMy dentist is super kind and sweet and explains everything thoroughly in a way I understand. She's also great with my little boy.β
βGreat food with friendly service. I had the chicken on French fries. The chicken was tender and flavorful and the toppings were fresh. Great deal for the price.β
βWhat a delight! So glad we stopped in. Delicious food, perfectly cooked. Great glass of wine and beers. What a team running this lovely pub - we canβt wait to be back! Thanks for a lovely afternoon Fairfield Arms.β
βI am very glad that I chose Madison to market my student let. Williams is very friendly and professional. He responses to my enquires promptly with great details. Throughout the process he and his team worked efficiently. I would highly recommend Madison Oakely!β
βLoving the new Galleries cafe revamp in Freshford! Amazing that its now open longer hours and at weekends. Perfect tea stop after a country walk! We had great service from our lovely waitress Lucy, a scrummy selection of salads, quiches, sandwiches and delicious cakes, and great coffee too, all in the most beautiful location. Idyllic!β
βMy favourite stop between Bristol and Bath. Absolutely beautiful and a lovely attraction to add to your journey. Cheap prices and a fantastic range of different meals I am stunned at what they can provide! A wonderful place to stop if you're cycling past on the Bristol / Bath Cycle Path. There is also a fantastic charity called wheelers that runs next to the waiting rooms that helps people with accessibility needs enjoy the wonders of cycling, I would highly recommend!β
βLovely campsite. Just the basics, but done really well. Site was immaculate and beautifully done, with short grass around the edge for camping and long grass in the middle of the field for wildlife. Saw various birds of prey, including a barn owl. Lovely walks with steam trains, great views, rivers and plenty of pubs along route. Already looking forward to visiting again!β
βLovely gardens behind the Holbourne museum. A play area for children and walks along with benches for you to sit and read or relax and pass the time on a sunny afternoon. Gardens are well maintained and beautifully presented.β
βI visited Bath for the day and didn't really feel at ease until I stepped into the garden. Quiet, peaceful, and only steps away from the city.β
βAmazing mesmerising venue, experiencing the Bridgerton filming scene. The sunny day definitely added another level of contentment.β
βVery good service has sorted my back problem out instantly and gave me good advice and support for the future , highly recommend.β
β6/5 All. Day. Long! Royal treatment from arrival to departure. Itβs the little things - name placard on door, beautifully presented gifts on the bed, warm welcomes from every single staff member, gorgeous grounds and perfect cocktails and a lovely breakfast made this stay absolutely incredible. Walk everywhere (ok β¦ downhill - but then just Uber up!) I felt bathed in luxury the entire time I was there. Large, well appointed rooms. Luxurious bed and bedding! And, very serene. Go live your own Bridgerton moment! You deserve it.β
βA beautiful place. We had walked the canal path from Bradford on Avon, nice and flat and lots of barges along the way. We'll worth a visit especially the aqueduct. Also a great tea room there.β
βBeautiful historic bridge with lovely views of the river and weir. Great spot for photos and a peaceful walk and a must-see in Bath! Beautiful city full of history and charm. Stunning architecture, relaxing Roman Baths, and lovely riverside walks. Bath is always a joy to explore!β
