“Had my 10 year girl party at Zoe's and I can't recommend enough. Zoe's and her Staff were amazing, the girls were never bored. The hairdo's were spectacular, they all looked like they were going to the ball and the face painting were really age appropriate, so beautiful. The Salon is quite a good size and beautiful decoration. We loved the pink blush drinks on arrival. Simply beautiful. Thanks Zoe.”

“What an amazing holiday flat. It was spacious, comfortable and charming. Some basic essentials were provided to make you feel at home, although what we missed was some salt in the kitchen, and body wash and shampoo in the bathrooms. However, there is a Morrisons next door, so you can easily pick up whatever you need. You get a designated parking spot behind the property. The road is narrow, so it can be tricky to manoeuvre through the gates. Regardless, parking is a great perk of the place. There is a bus stop close by, which is also serviced by the National Express, so it was very convenient for us travelling from London. The cleaner arrived about 15-20 minutes before checkout. We were in the process of leaving anyway, but that was a little bit awkward.”

Breakfast is tasty with a wonderful variety of options to choose from. The B&B is a short walk from the train station and city center. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Bath.”

“I searched for a local lingerie shop to get a fitting and purchase some bras. The shop itself is clean and well laid out, and the service staff are warm and welcoming. I was taken into a pretty changing room and brought an array of bras one at a time to try on and gage what size I was. Each bra fit perfectly after we established what size I required. The lady attending to me has an eye for fashion and what suited my frame. Unfortunately, the bras were outside of my current budget, but despite that the lady serving me was absolutely lovely, informed me about their gift card options and treated me with dignity. Fantastic service and lovely service staff. Once I'm in a position to treat myself I intend to visit again.”

“Laura Place Fountain, right in the middle of a roundabout at Great Pulteney Street and Henrietta Street, is a charming spot in Bath. Built in 1877 to celebrate the Bath and West of England Society, it was meant to be a grand column but was changed into a fountain. The design is simple but elegant, with a square basin and a central pedestal topped with a lead ball. Over the years, it’s faced some damage, especially from traffic, but it's been restored a few times. Despite being in the middle of a busy roundabout, it still manages to be a peaceful little corner where you can take in some of Bath’s beautiful Georgian architecture. It’s a nice place to stop for a moment of calm in the city.”

“The staff were very helpful in this store. Customer service assistant called Abbie was extremely helpful in choosing a sofa for our new place. Showed us all the available fabrics, sizes, styles etc. Ended up purchasing online, but it was great to see it in the store first and I was grateful for her time.”

“This is a review of the events space (marquee). We recently celebrated our wedding anniversary in the marquee at the Swan in Swineford, September 2024. It was a great event and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the evening. We had 53 guests for a three course sit down meal with welcome drinks prior to the meal, after which the tables were cleared for dancing and a DJ. We were able to discuss and tailor our menu to suit our guests and we received many compliments on the food, which was very tasty. Our family had early access to decorate the marquee with lights, table decorations and flowers which made the marquee look beautiful and created a lovely atmosphere. We were able to return the next morning to do the take-down, there was no pressure. The only strict requirements were that music had to stop by 11:00 pm (due to neighbours) and aim to have all people off site by 11:30 pm. Lee, the manager, was very approachable. He was happy to discuss our needs and was very flexible with the layout and the menu choice. We were allowed to provide our own drinks and pay corkage as well as making use of the outside pay-bar. Staff were very friendly and seemed invested in the success of the party which made it seem like a joint effort. The marquee itself is 9 meters square and has a good-sized graveled area to the side with benches which are for sole use of the function space. The marquee is set in a large garden with outside bar, children’s play area and a carpark. We would certainly recommend the swan for family and social functions. Big thanks to Lee and the whole team.”

“Place is relatively new build, a couple of years, good location I would say as there is no coffee shop in the proximity. The staff are polite and respectful. The best flat white in Uk is at Costa!”

“We have just returned from a wonderful weekend spent in Bath. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The whole building is clean, charming and characterful. The food is very tasty and filling. Location is extremely convenient and the staff are lovely. Thank you again we really enjoyed our wedding anniversary time there. I wish you much success in the future.”
