βThis is a gym, not some fancy fitness club. There are plenty of heavy weights, benches, and a quite few machines. If you know what youβre doing, youβll be absolutely fine.β
βMy old school Great to revisit Old memoriesβ
βThe level of teaching is amazing, my 5yo son has gained so much more confidence since starting swimming lessons here. Tried lessons at another pool in the past and moved him due to poor teaching. The building looks very tired and could do with some real investment to tidy it up whilst keeping its historic charm.β
βI absolutely love Nuffield Bristol North - I teach Zumba, Kids Multi-circuit and Fitness Pilates here and have done for may years. The club is super friendly, both members and staff with up to date equipment plus 100's of awesome classes with enthusiastic instructors like me! There's a creche, kids classes, swimming lessons which makes the club perfect for families and it's a really good price if you look around and compare clubs. Come to my class and say 'hello' - I'd love to help you on your fitness journey.β
βLovely cottages and close to Bath. Perfect for large groups that can split into different cottages. Pool was great and the Walnut Room was perfect for our needs!β
βWe had a fantastic time this afternoon shooting. The leader was very good and helpful. We will be back to try again.β
βI booked a lesson with Sky for my two great grand daughters age 12 and 6. Sky was very helpful. Dave the instructor was most patient and really great with the girls. Had them standing on the board very quickly. He made the lesson not only about learning but also they lots of fun. I felt the girls were safe out on the water with Dave Would really recommend Subwayβ
βGreat service when I had a problem after having our hotsprings hot top from new 8 years ago and now running perfectly again. Also great to be able to purchase my chemicals etc from Chepstow, instead of having to travel over the bridge to Bristol. Thanks again guys for all your help and ongoing support.β
βIβve been seeing Kirsty for my treatments for a little while and I honestly wouldnβt trust anyone else! Sheβs so knowledgeable, gentle, and really takes her time to make you feel comfortable. The results always look natural and fresh β I leave feeling confident every single time. Highly recommend!β
βWe had our daughters 4th birthday party there last week. We couldnβt be happier. The whole booking process and communication is amazing. Was perfect having one of the boing staff members on site. Great size and atmosphere, my daughter and friends were so happy and had such a great time. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting a smooth, easy and budget friendly party!β
βI came to Mark with zero confidence and ability in the water. In less than 6 sessions, I can confidently front crawl and tread water. His approach is one of patience and continuous support, underpinned (clearly) by years of experience. The sessions were structured, he took into account my way of learning and was able to explain why things were done in a clear manner. It was also really fun β he's a lovely chap. Anyone thinking about having lessons as an adult and isn't sure β just do it. Mark will get you there!β

βWell what can we say. Our third visit here now and what wonderful memories for all our family. Highly recommend . A very peaceful & spiritual place.β
βGreat bloke with always plenty to chat about having being going to grant for quite some years now because he provides a great service at a great priceβ
βWhat an amazing stay. It was perfect for our Christmas getaway. The cottage was spacious and had everything we needed. All linen and towels were provided (even for the pool) The use of the heated pool was a huge bonus with the children, 2 communal hours usage and a timetabled private hour each day.. The use of the large games room with a pool table, table tennis, foozeball (and lots more) was great on the cold weather. There is also an outdoor play area. Lots of local walks, the scenery was beautiful The location is perfect for trips throughout Somerset, including Bath, Cheddar and Glastonbury. Esther and Tim are great, very friendly and always on hand. We highly recommend a stay at Moorleaze.β
βAmazing bridge and history behind it, you will have to pay a toll to cross it in your car, and carpark spaces arnt great on other side, just next to the bridge is a path if you follow it up to the top you will arrive at a cafe and the cave entrance, but there is some great shots off the bridge from the top view pointβ
βWhat a beautiful small village! Unfortunately I visit this place not on the finest weather but it still look extraordinary pretty. There is a big parking lot around 10 minutes walk from the village.β
βBeautiful gardens, lovely cafe, fun grottos. Lots of soothing running water inside and out. Do visit before they close for good at the end of September. Such a shame they're closing β€οΈβ
βYou need to book either a weekend or midweek break at Centre parcs, then this is free to use. There are flumes, rapids, hot tub's loads of other water fun entertainment for all ages.β
βGreat walk but the signage isnβt the best. Make sure you know your route before leaving! The views are incredible, we could see the Severn Bridge!β
βAmazing and beautiful space. Well done to Kira, Jonathan and all the volunteers for bringing it back to life. Perfect birdsong and babbling river soundtrack. Looking forward to more visits and it becoming a Westbury landmark again.β
βI just wanted to thank the lake for providing a great venue for open water swimming, swim coaching, diving, and paddle boarding. The staff's consistent helpfulness and the inviting atmosphere, coupled with the recent enhancements to the lake, are particularly noteworthy. I eagerly anticipate future improvements and the upcoming launch of Bruce.β

βThis is the best place for swimming in Somerset. Seems to attract the loveliest people, guaranteed calm and relaxation. Also has toilets, changing huts and steps into the river with a handrail and tonnes of parking.β
βAn absolutely stunning garden teeming with the most beautiful azaleas and rhododendrons. Paradise on earth on a sunny day. Well worth the entry fee. Picnics are welcome and the toilets were clean. Lots of parking. Not great for the less mobile due to steep undulating paths.β
βWe visited the WWT centre for a day out with the grandchildren. They absolutely loved the new welly world feature. And, of course, feeding the ducks and geese was a particular highlight. The day wore them both out beautifully, so we had no problem putting them to bedβwhich was the main point of our visit. So, thank you Slimbridge for providing excellent entertainment for the kids.β
βFantastic park with a variety of things to do, playground, splash pad, skate park, row boats, walking paths, and plenty of grassy area to kick a ball around. Great place for a picnic and bonus: if you are short on time to prepare at home, Morrison's grocery is right across the street. There's also a cafe with drinks and a small selection of snacks inside the park. Only downside is there are only about 8-10 parking spots inside the park, but there's free street parking up the hill from the park, so it's not too difficult to get a spot. I arrived mid/late afternoon on a Wednesday.β
βAmazing sunset overlook, some trails to walk, lovely place for a picnic.β
βTook my sen kids tobogganing was a small group of 8 -10 children. 30 minutes Was alot of money as had marshmallow & Sparklers after. Was a treat . Had fake snow machine which was a surprise. They loved that. All my kids enjoyed Even the little one She did 20 minutes non stop Very unlike her. Was nice to see. tho my children got hyper at the woodland area . You don't do sen only sessions or i would book that . Would recommend I would take my kids back to tobogganing .β
βWe have been here many times over the years, for walks, teas, coffees or to just sit in the sun or shade & watch the world go by. This time it was to just pass the time whilst waiting for a hospital appointment nearby.β
