“The food quality is great. Pricing is good. Service is very ordinary”
“Incredible find in Bath, sitting right on the river tucked away near the weir. The food was absolutely stunning, brilliant portion sizes. The staff were friendly and informative, couldn't have been more helpful, and prices reasonable for the food quality. Definitely visit if you have the chance. Thanks!”
“Excellent food, so very tasty and flavourful. The Peshwari naan was so amazing that we had to order an extra portion. The service was more than brilliant with lovely, chatty staff who answered any questions and were always on the ball ! A lovely birthday meal spent here, and we will be back again soon. Thank you very much ☺️.”
“Delicious food in this cosy venue! Had high expectations based on the reviews I'd seen and this definitely lived up to them. The main downside was we were too full to order more dishes! The mushrooms were a highlight, perfectly crispy without being oily. Nice cocktails too.”
“Rooted is an all around incredible place for food, the menu is super creative and full of choice! However! Their vegan roast is literally the best roast I’ve had in Bath, and I’d go as far as to say the best roast in the South West, get one, you won’t be disappointed ❤️”
“i love this little asian store, great prices and the staff are really friendly. although it's not that close to me, i'm always more than happy to take the trip to it!”
“Good food everytime, friendly staff and quick service. My only con is the restaurant is very loud, even when it’s only half full- might be difficult for some people to be able to hear each other/have a conversation”
“One of the most authentic Korean restaurants in Bristol owned by a lovely couple. Wonderful service and amazing food. We ordered the bibimbap and mandugguk and would definitely pay a visit again.”
“Great portions. You can’t go wrong with the grilled pork vermicelli noodles. Pho is also really nice, the broth tastes exactly like I was having it in Ho Chi Minh city Overall price is quite cheap. Highly recommended!!”
“Popped in here for lunch today rather spontaneously, and I’m glad I did. Lovely, welcoming staff, and authentic Thai food with a real home-cooked, comforting feel. Definitely a hidden gem worth visiting!”
“Food was very good and proper portions. I would say it is good value for money... very good ambience... nice amd courteous staff... had a nice dining experience”
“Great food..we all enjoyed and appreciated that. Unfortunately they had an influx of 15 orders just prior to 7pm and couldn't cope with supplying on time the 7oclock deliveries. The two young ladies in front of shop were left somewhat exposed given some customer anger at delay...but we all got there on the end. They gave a couple of us a bottle of wine for the 30min delay ..and we really enjoyed the four different dishes of food..JG”
“Walked a different route home and was starving. Don't let the simple exterior fool you. I tried the chicken cafrael as it sounded delicious and it really was incredible as were the chips. Insane value for money. 3 big bits of chicken and chips for £7. Must be the cheapest / tastiest food in Bristol. Highly recommend. I'll be back to sample the rest of the menu”
“What a great experience! My husband and I decided to eat lunch here and it was so delicious, the food, atmosphere and shop layout gave us an authentic dining experience. The food was made to perfection, nice a healthy and hearty. We enjoyed it so much that we were so close to having it again that day for dinner!”
“Found by accident but so happy we did! Perfect chai for a hot day teamed with a flaky well stuffed samosa! Also had a wrap which was delicious. Really great value for money and really tasty food! Definitely worth a visit! Note there is no seating but there are parks and benches near by!”
“Authentic family run Thai restaurant. Great value, quality food and service was great. Shout out to the young gentleman who served us. Impeccably polite, service with a smile.”
“Great place to meet and eat and/or drink. Food is fantastic, something for everyone. Portions are ample. But please be careful when stepping out of the pub as 2 of my friends fell down badly from their step. We have also heard this is an occurrence with others having a fall. The step should be painted whited as you cannot see in the dark. The step is not a general size so unexpected”
“What a meal! Fantastic staff - attentive and friendly and the food was amazing. We had around 7 plates, wine and beer - Nothing but positive things to say - The best Tapas we have ever had! There were four of us seated outside on a summer eve. A beautiful town and this must be their gem - We will definitely be returning - Thank you!”
“This is, without a doubt, my favourite Thai restaurant in Bristol. I have probably ordered from here or dined in around five times, and they have never once disappointed me. My favourites are the Laos-style papaya salad and the tom yum soup. On this visit, I tried the beef, which was delicious and generous for the price. The sticky mango rice was as lovely as always, although the portion seemed a little smaller than on my previous visit. The owner is also friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant—it’s a must-visit for anyone who loves Thai food.”
“Had a lovely dinner with amazing food and a very friendly staff. Dinner begins at 6 p.m. and we were able to get a table immediately. Pie was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is very cozy. Would definitely recommend.”
“Amazing service, guy who took our order was lovely!!! Would recommend to everyone. Great prices, great portions and DELICIOUS food ”
“This is my first visit with friends. The restaurant is really sweet and the staff were attentive and welcoming. The food was freshly cooked, presented beautifully and was really delicious. I would highly recommend and will definitely be back.”
“Really tasty food, lovely fresh flavours. The weeping tiger and nasi goreng were delicious. The dip with the prawn crackers had a lovely kick. Friendly service.”
“The whole experience was fabulous. We went early enough for there it to be slightly empty but the food itself was exceptional. Staff were very friendly and professional throughout, attentive to any requests or questions we had. The fish and seafood was fresh and flavoursome and all the other dishes were of great quality and super tasty. Probably the best Thai food that I've eaten and would definitely recommend to everyone!”
“We feel like we have found the most authentic Thai food in Bristol, friendly staff and genuinely excellent Thai food. We found ourselves discussing how authentic the flavours were and the menu allows for lots of different tastes. In our experience the cost represented excellent value and especially because it was an all round great experience.”
“Good selection of real ales and welcoming staff and locals. Good beer garden too”
“Everything is 5* about this lovely, quaint restaurant. We have eaten several times both sitting in and takeaway. The restaurant is cosy and the service is fantastic, the staff are so friendly. And the takeaway is always beautifully hot when we get it home, and we live 20 minutes away. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious Thai meal! Ps it’s competitively priced!”
“Never had a bad meal from of here. Best Chinese in the area by miles. Food arrives hot and delivery drivers are always lovely.”
“Very nice family run business. Tasty and authentic food, good prices. Worth a visit. Definitely will come back to taste some more food.”
“Love Street Wok. Great for takeout and we’ve booked for a birthday, where we were virtually giving the whole room to ourselves. Always great service and very tasty food. Good value and simple l, but adequate menu. Well run and friendly service. You can park on the roads around or cheekily in the garage across the road and they are always quick with takeout service. Recommend. A definite hangover go to.”
