“As an avid lover of Thai cuisine, I stumbled upon a true hidden gem nestled in the heart of Cardiff. This was my second visit and it has become a cherished tradition for me to return whenever I find myself in this vibrant city. They only offering take-away services, there were four stools available but there were more seatings in upstairs. Authentic Thai food by Thai chef continues to impress with its delectable offerings, generous portions and reasonable prices. We had Thai Red curry with Chicken, Thai Green Curry with Chicken and Pad Thai with Prawns, the Thai flavours served here never fail to impress. The Thai Red curry was very hot and delicious. Friendly staff, the entire process from placing order to collecting it was remarkable swift.”

“Very reasonable, tucked away in a side street, breakfast and brunch mainly unless you want smoothies, crepes and waffles, then there’s a wide selection of drinks, hot and cold.”

“Great breakfast although sausages need work. Lovely black pudding makes up for them. Very reasonably priced with discounted tea and coffee. Lovely jungle atmosphere provided by in house parrots!”

“Stunning grounds around Insole Court and the beautiful gardens. Nice picnic table area or rear court yard at the back of the cafe. Veg and vegan available, if needed as well as all the usual coffee shop fare. Lovely staff in gorgeous grounds”

“Two happy young men... highly excited to see the new Superman film, so they decided to go for the imax experience. Hot day and train from Bristol, but they thought it was well worth it. Popcorn holders and cups were a great hit with them. Hottest day of the year, so air conditioning welcomed nice staff and a good experience for them. Thank you Forgot to say staff in superman capes was a nice touch.”

“Food was lovely. I had the breaded chicken breast with fries, coleslaw, and egg. My mum had a full english breakfast. Didn't like the capers on top though I think it kinda ruined the meal but It's my own fault for forgetting to ask to remove them. Full english breakfast was lovely. They take blue light card which is great if you want a decent discount. It took a very long time for staff to take our order and bring the bill, it was busy though. I'd recommend if its not busy and if you have a blue light card as the price would be worth it for the discount. Suitable for people with food allergies and had no issues with that.”

“Had a great time here. My wife had bought us a beer tasting masterclass. OMG, brilliant. Although there should have been us plus 4 others we were told, the 4 didn't turn up, they missed an amazing 2 hours. Our host was a young guy called Seb, he was absolutely great. Not know what to expect, he went through the plan and explained the beers, what they make on site, what they bring in, how the beers are made, history and you are brought 8 thirds to try in order. Time to discuss each one, the colour, the taste, the origin. He was very knowledgeable and really made a great experience, would recommend this masterclass.”

“A delicatessen and cafe with a homely feel. Dog friendly, art displays of local artists, friendly service and time for a chat. A good selection of breads, cheeses, deli counter, breakfast, lunches and high teas. Always a warm welcome. Also a nice venue for small events. Here is an open Mic event.”

“Great food and beverages served at consistently good quality and standard. My local Tesco is my regular. The staff always serve with a smile. The hot beverages are really hot ( you can ask the staff to wash the cups in hot water, hot milk for the hot Americano), the Scampi meal is simply to die for.”

“Had great food and drink at Bill's. The atmosphere is always nice, the food always spot on and fills a spot and the staff are always amazing. The staff member serving us today was Andres. They were very nice, looked like they enjoyed their job, always smiling and dressed presentable.”

“The service was amazing, perhaps the best I've ever experienced. There weren't many vegetarian options as I went with a vegetarian (I am a meat eater). The beyond burger was very good (especially for a vegetarian burger). The cream soda wasn't sugary enough. The chicken finger were very good too. It wasn't cheap but definitely worth it, I recommend it as more of a birthday eat out than something casual. Please note that this is upstairs so if you are afraid of heights stick to the storefronts.”
