“I stayed with them this last week and I must say the experience was delightful! The staff and atmosphere was lovely and the stay itself was super nice and comfortable. But the main star of my stay was the breathtaking view from my room which i couldnt get enough of! I will definitely be staying with them again”

“A great place to stay. The campsite was quiet and clean, shower and toilet facilities looked like recent additions and were clean and well kept. The site is on a farm and close to many local attraction, a short drive from Cardiff city centre and Cardiff Bay. Was also around 30 minutes to visit nearby Barry. We would definitely use this site if we visit the area again and recommend it to friends x”

“A wonderful little hidden cider farm. It was a wonderful stroll around the small orchard and relax in the hammocks there. The little shop was very pleasant, and staff very friendly. It was nice to feed the pigs whilst on our visit. Will return when next this way”

“Amazing atmosphere for this small venue in the centre of Cardiff. Saw Slow Pulp and it was phenomenal, staff were kind, music sounded great. Nothing to complain about apart from how boiling it was in there but didn’t ruin the experience.”

“Proud bar couldn't have done more for us. We felt comfortable, safe and had a great night out. Nigel, Davy, Jen and Tash really looked after us. We were a group of 20 hens and didn't feel like we are spoiling anyones night out, and we were told this by a regular client of the bar we made their night (hopefully for good reasons lol). Drinks were good price, the space was fantastic and the DJ was on point. Lastly it is great to see a venue that only has unisex toilets. Keep up the good work!!!!”

“Amazing bar theme. I just loved the bar back with big paints served as cabinets. The cocktail menu ir was amazing. Using the tarot as theme and drinks are split by main tarot cards. Great prices and drinks presentation. It is worthy to stop for a nice cocktail”

“Came here as someone had commented how good it was when he unfortunately had broken down nearly and we like to support local businesses. We had a great visit, the young man serving was very attentive and friendly, the food was extremely tasty and great portions and the whole place was clean and tidy, a nice relaxed and warm atmosphere. “Four adults and a four year old. We've just returned from a fantastic weeks stay at Riverside. Yes, there were a couple of negatives, and no, we didn't raise them at the time as we managed to combat them, and they didn't distract from the really good time we had. The caravan we stayed in was a six birth. Whilst there were ample cutlery, crockery & and glassware, we felt that the pans provided were of poor quality and inadequate. There was only one shelf in the oven. We expected that there should be two. And lastly (and it's the same issue at virtually every other holiday let We've stayed ), the knives in the knife block were all blunt. (The wife's tongue is sharper). May have as well used a hatchet. Apart from those minor issues, the caravan was clean and tidy. The site was well laid out and well maintained. All the staff were helpful and friendly and went about their duties diligently. We only used the restaurant a couple of times. I'm not a fan of carveries myself. However, I have to admit that the one we had at Riverside was really enjoyable. We also sampled the "build your own pizza." Outstanding. It's probably the best pizzas we've had. Pleasantly surprised at the prices at the bar too. It's more than reasonable. Well stocked with a wide choice of drinks. Apparently, we visited during the last week of low season and were informed that most of the week it would be quiet and entertainment would mainly consist of bingo, quizzes and karaoke. The best would be done to involve any children (of which there were very few). Lee, did an excellent job keeping us entertained. The bingo and quizzes were made really entertaining, and the children always came away "winning" and ice cream despite not even playing. For the number of people that were there most evenings, the prizes were very good. To summarize a very clean site offering friendly value for money service and amenities.”

“Lovely Italian restaurant had the £8.95 pizza and beer or soft drink the pizza was delicious and covered in topping and the chef was very friendly .My husband said it was the best pizza he had every eaten for freshness/topping/authentic tasting and believe me when I say he has eaten hundreds of pizzas”

“Fabulous food. The quality and the taste of the food was excellent. We tried some dishes that we have not had in other Indian restaurants, (Lamb Jamdhani & Korai Kebab Kyberi) we were amazed. Staff are very welcoming and managed to squeeze us in at short notice.”

“Nick’s is brilliant. In a time where service is usually poor, these guys have always stood out! They’re kind and always helpful, engaging with children, have recommendations and always come smiling! The food is incredible; portions are generous without compromising on quality and the consistency seems to be there as well have been a couple of times. Even simple things like a Greek salad are done well! Highly recommend and will be returning again very soon!”

“Be meaning to pop in for ages , so after the pier brought the kids in because I love anything bbq . I just love smoked meat my two boys had the nuggets and chips kids meal great value coming with drinks the eldest said best chicken nuggets ever and he's the most fussy person I have ever meet. I live for burnt ends pulled pork was great and the sausage , lucky I was parked at the end in a booth and the ribs hands on I was covered in bbq sauce. Staff really friendly and attentive. Lovely clean .”

“Came in with a few of my friends this past weekend, really great vibe and energy here. We made the most of the two cocktails for £14 and had a couple of cocktails, Pina Coladas, Lemon Sours, Hugo Spritz and two Brambles, which are pictured. They all tasted great and were made at the bar just in front of us so we could see the making process. We shared a few sides off the menu, the truffle fries and tenderstem broccoli between us, which also came out quickly, they were really nice and would order again. One of the waitresses was kind enough to take our picture there, 10/10 would return again for a proper sit down meal.”

Been a loyal customer for over a decade now but the past year they’ve really upped their game considerably - the full English comes with even higher quality ingredients now! “I booked the Fairwater Pub's function room for my sisters birthday recently and it was amazing. All of the staff were welcoming and friendly from the moment I started setting up to the very end of the night. The communication between myself and the Landlady and Landlord was smooth and very clear. They offered me tables and let me lay out the room how I felt best. They let us have a DJ there and our own catering. The price for the room was amazing and I would recommend it to anyone. I would defiantly go back and I can't thank them enough! Happy smiles all around”

He was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, offering excellent recommendations without being intrusive. Our glasses were always full, and he even catered to specific requests with a smile. Anmol's friendly demeanor and professionalism truly made our dining experience memorable.
