“Me and my friends came to visit the restaurant like in their closing time already. We entered and ask if they are still open as it is almost midnight. I think most of the food are kept and the stove are off. When we said that it was so sad as we really wanted to have indian food. They immediately accomodated us. They switched on everything and took our orders. The manager and the staff are very friendly and nice. And the foodddddd, it is AMAZING!!!! I’ve been to india couple of times and I can say it is a real homecooked taste, felt like I am literally in India. The restaurant is clean and pleasant. The staff are organized and efficient. Since we really liked the food, the next day we decided to go again and tried the other dishes they have, and guess what? It didn’t disappoint! It is all DELICIOUS! We will definitely come back when we visit Cardiff again. Kudos to the whole team of Flaming Dragon Cardiff.”

“Absolutely stunning meal! I am fussy with my steak buy owner explained how he would cook it and it was the tastiest ,nicest steak ive had. Cauliflower wings to stary which again were full of flavour. Hot ,homemade chips - can't fault it! Definitely reccomend and cant wait to return again.”

“Stopped in for a drink, I had the strawberry milkshake which was lovely! The staff were really friendly and service was quick. The milkshake itself was a little on the expensive side but was absolutely gorgeous so worth the extra money if you’re looking for a good milkshake!”

“Our table was booked for 7.30pm. We early and allowed to sit at our table. We also to order early too. Food was served within 15 minutes. Well presented and very tasty. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Lovely night night for my 60th birthday with my husband. Thank you”

“My husband and I recently organised a charity quiz night at this pub in support of Mind UK, and it was an absolute delight. The private function room was just what we needed – spacious enough to accommodate all our teams comfortably while allowing us to seamlessly connect our laptop to the screens for presentations and videos. The stage was a fantastic addition, making it easy to showcase our raffle prizes and extend heartfelt gratitude to our guests. The microphone system was a game-changer, especially when the energy was high and drinks were flowing. It helped rally everyone's attention without a hitch. The private bar was a hit among our guests, offering a fantastic array of drinks, and the fully equipped karaoke machine was an absolute blast. The staff were incredibly kind and supportive throughout, contributing to our successful fundraising efforts for Mind UK. Their assistance was invaluable, and we're already planning to book another event here soon. A huge thank you to the entire team for making our night memorable and for aiding us in raising significant funds for such a crucial cause. “Brilliant food. Brilliant experience. Reiner is a fabulous chef and his food made my experience and the Dai cowboy was unreal. Tara who hosts the speed quiz was Legend "wait for it" ARY Ive been in a few times now for the general quiz and the Speedy quiz and I must say it's spectacular. All the staff are wonderful and I've been in with the little sprogs and they LUV it. Thank you team team Crwys I will be back for many more visits Kind regards Ben D'Over”

“Popped in recently for a quick pint, 1st time in since renovation from Gassys. Tables set up reminds me of a beer Keller. Chilled out atmosphere, and a great chat with Mel the barmaid. Surprised that they didn't serve Guinness anymore but settled for a couple of pints of cider. I enjoyed my visit, the people were relaxed and friendly and the beverages were spot on. Will visit again soon on my evening stroll.”

From the moment we arrived, the whole team was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and fully accommodating to our family. We visited using Wowcher vouchers, and everything was seamless. Jess was absolutely fantastic – so attentive and kind – and her manager even went out of their way to make a special mocktail for my daughter, which really made her day! “Came here before for the pub, but decided to stay when visiting Cardiff again. The staff were really lovely and helpful with checking us in. Our room was modern and spotless. In terms of convenience, it's very close to city centre and things like Cardiff Castle, National Museum, and Cardiff Bay. The pub downstairs is great as well especially if you love to watch sport. I think it's a great value for what you pay.”

“Thank you so much to Marcus and his team for the wonderful, caring service they delivered at the wake for our Dear Dad on Wednesday. Everyone commented on how lovely the room was. We appreciated the use of the easel for our display of photos and the table for Dad's regimental flag, poppies and donation box. “Wow. What a fantastic pub. New to Cardiff and stumbled upon this little gem for Sunday lunch. Ate at the bar rather than in the dining room as I had my dog with me, but ate off the same menu. And what a menu. In a world where food for a lot of pubs is heated in a microwave, you should be more like this pub instead. Fantastic and huge sunday roast with lots of trimmings. The football was on the big screen in the bar, but that didn't detract from the atmosphere. And the lady who served us at the bar was friendly. funny and helpful. My only gripe is I can only give this place 5 stars!”
