“Children’s party hosted at Enchanted Adventures was simply perfect! The environment itself is ideal and safe for children of all ages with two separate soft play areas for older and younger children . The buffet provided by the staff was excellent and of good quality . Staff were friendly and helpful , party bags were provided and they cut the cake in readiness for guests leaving . I have visited this establishment on a number of occasions and I can highly recommend it!”

“We love this hotel. We got married here 13 years ago and come here once a year to celebrate. The rooms are great, the staff are friendly. The location and views are amazing. We stayed here last night and ate in the Vale Grill. Our host was Lewis and he was fantastic. Very attentive, and even though it was busy he still made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us throughout the meal. The food was great, I had the Orzo Risotto and my husband had the Hanger Steak. Would highly recommend to anyone planning a visit.”

“I stayed the weekend here and it was so tranquil ! It was exactly what I needed. The scenery was beautiful and everyone was so attentive. I can’t recommend it enough. The farm had so many beautiful animals just felt like such a peaceful space”

“Good spot for a walk, takes about 20 minutes to orbit the pond. Path is properly surfaced, broad and step free. Best part - the flower meadow near the car park, see photos (mid-September).”

“I was in Cardiff for my convocation and visited this costa shop. Amazing super friendly staff. Always smiling and helpful. Great coffee and great atmosphere. One of the best costa experiences in UK without a doubt.”

“The panoramic views from the top of the hill are breathtaking, especially at sunset. It's a bit of a climb, but completely worth it. A popular spot for photographers and couples. Very romantic”

“I visit here often, lovley place to walk and with dogs or bike. Does have a children's play area and small car park, which you do have to pay to park between certain times. I would say pram and wheel chair accessible for the majority, although through the woods you may find it rather tricky.”

Too many options on the menu to choose from and I decided to go for the steak one which was tender and juicy! My friend had a veggie burger which was yum! The halloumi fries were spot on. I only wished they served milkshakes too which would have been an icing on the cake!”

“One of my favourite places to eat in South Wales. Lovely atmosphere, great for brunch with a great selection included loads of vegetarian options. Chocolate brownie is decadent. The cafe/restaurant itself is lovely but what is good is that there is a secluded small but fun play area for children to play in whilst you wait for your food (it is outside!)”

“The Clifton hotel is best pub and very local to me.. very good atmosphere and friendly people.. I always feel very comfortable to come in a have pint or 2..the staff is amazing and I know if I need help or there problem in pub they here to help”

The private function room was just what we needed – spacious enough to accommodate all our teams comfortably while allowing us to seamlessly connect our laptop to the screens for presentations and videos. The stage was a fantastic addition, making it easy to showcase our raffle prizes and extend heartfelt gratitude to our guests. The microphone system was a game-changer, especially when the energy was high and drinks were flowing. It helped rally everyone's attention without a hitch. The private bar was a hit among our guests, offering a fantastic array of drinks, and the fully equipped karaoke machine was an absolute blast. The staff were incredibly kind and supportive throughout, contributing to our successful fundraising efforts for Mind UK. Their assistance was invaluable, and we're already planning to book another event here soon. A huge thank you to the entire team for making our night memorable and for aiding us in raising significant funds for such a crucial cause. “Wow. What a fantastic pub. New to Cardiff and stumbled upon this little gem for Sunday lunch. Ate at the bar rather than in the dining room as I had my dog with me, but ate off the same menu. And what a menu. In a world where food for a lot of pubs is heated in a microwave, you should be more like this pub instead. Fantastic and huge sunday roast with lots of trimmings. The football was on the big screen in the bar, but that didn't detract from the atmosphere. And the lady who served us at the bar was friendly. funny and helpful. My only gripe is I can only give this place 5 stars!”

“Best Chinese in Newport. Been going here since they first opened, I love there Chinese food but the English version of chicken peas gravy and chips is outstanding, pity they stopped doing the sirloin staek because that dish was divine ..loves the Wai Wai”
