“Amazing scout campsite really glad I came here with SSAGO. The trek from the station isn't too bad however I don't recommend it with a very heavy rucksack. At the campsite you can hear the planes and trains but there is no shortage of wildlife sounds and sightings. Facilities in good condition and overall it's a great place to take your group! I forgot to take photos of the place in general but here's the night sky from the brownie field. Despite being so close to towns and cities the sky is very very clear!”

“I am petrified of the dentist thanks to an awful dentist (butcher!) when I was young. I have avoided going for so many years despite my teeth being very bad. I finally had to go due to cavity and getting excruciating nerve pain. After a few calls, I got an appointment with Torcross for following day. The ladies in the reception were lovely and helpful. I went upstairs and only one other person was in the waiting room but within a minute I was called into the consultation room. And met Dr Tang. I explained the issue and my extreme anxiety. He was so nice and explained everything and within 10 minutes, he had put a temp filling in and explained what we would need to do next. I have a follow up appointment for next week and I would never say I am looking forward to it but I am more comfortable and will be less stressed / anxious / afraid. Thank you Dr Tang / Torcross”

“The staff and facilities are fantastic and clean as you would expect from a camping and caravan site. the only issue is if you are on the grass electric pitches you are.close to the motorway and the noise is like white noise 24/7. My advice would be to get a hard standing pitch behind the main block which is not so noisy. We went to the black Country museum which was great with motorhome parking with no additional charge. the m6 motorway was a nightmare and congested.”
