“Lovely staff, very quick service on a busy day, and very good food and coffee. Paid £11 for two great coffees and a tasty sandwich, which is pretty damn good for such a central location. Highly recommended!”
“We stopped for brunch at this great cafe when walking back from Murrayfield. Our group of four received a really warm welcome and attentive table service from lovely friendly staff. The full Scottish breakfast was amazing - two of everything, tasted delicious, with a massive pile of buttered toast, and all beautifully presented. What a discovery, we will definitely return!”
“Real pizza oven and quality ingredients. Friendly Italian owner and makes the best pizza in Edinburgh. Don't order Dominos when this is here!”
“Best bacon rolls in Leith! Plus the owners are the loveliest people.”
“Had a lovely brunch here! We sat at a table that had some used cups and plates, and staff were really quick to tidy up and apologize. Service was quick, food was lovely, overall had a lovely experience and would go back!”
“Attended with a wheelchair user, immediately a member of staff was present to help us get in and get to a table. The entrance is step-free. The staff were fantastic and really friendly throughout our visit. Great selection of food, everything made fresh so asking for something without one of the ingredients was not a problem at all, and the choice of fresh cakes was INCREDIBLE. The marlenka was beautiful! Would highly recommend.”
“Another fabulous meal at Bodega. The wings are potentially the best we’ve ever had and the flavours in all the sauces and seasonings are on point and delicious. The fish dishes need improvement would be my only feedback. But the meal overall, service, drinks and atmosphere are excellent. (I am coeliac and can confirm it is a safe gf eating venue) Thank you, team at Bodega!”
“This was a last minute, we are hungry, get out of our way kind of stop. But you know what? This was really good. We had our first experience with haggis I liked it a lot. , and everything was really good. We all also had an old fashioned with Scotch whiskey. Really nice!”
“First time in Edinburgh and first time eating at Teuchters Landing. Reservations cannot be made, you just walk up to see if they have space, which they did in our case. We were a party of 8. You order and pay all your food and drinks through an app. It’s also possible to order and pay at the bar. Food was brought out pretty quickly and the service was friendly. All in all a very good experience.”
“Great burgers, nice and filling, fantastic chips, a little on the expensive side but thats to be expected and its fair, great spot if your struggling to decide. 100% vegan place”
“Lovely little cozy restaurant, serves appetizing Venezuelan dishes! I believe it is family run, so the dishes have a homely taste. Overall budget friendly and worth a try!”
“One of my favourite restaurants around Edinburgh. Their food is delicious and the service is friendly. We had pizza, pasta and salads. 10/10!”
“Lovely lady, that served me, explained everything I could miss while ordering. All fresh and the place is very clean. Definitely will be back!”
“I stayed in the Juniperlea Inn for 1 night this week. I found the staff and owner very helpful and lovely to deal with. Food was to a very good standard, room was lovely and well presented. Although the main road is nearby the room itself was quiet and you couldn't hear any traffic. I would definitely book again!”
“came here last saturday with my wife and as soon as we came in the door we were met but a lovely waitress called mia who sat us down and talked us through the menu and took our drinks order a few minutes later another waitress came and took our food order and talked us through the whole menu she was honestly a star and 5 minutes later our starters were out my wife had the loaded chilli potato skins and i had the mozza melts the portions we nice and fair and tasted even better after we had finished it only took and a few minutes for our dishes too be cleared and our mains too come out i had the chicken fajitas and my wife had the chicken enchiladas when they came out they were piping hot which most likely means they were freshly made and the portions were brilliant and i’m not trying to over do it here but the chicken tasted outstanding and my wife really enjoyed her meal i would 100% come back again thank you rancho pancho we will see you again soon”
“Outstanding service and delicious food at BarBurrito, Edinburgh Airport! Abbie was absolutely fantastic — friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming, especially in the busy airport environment. The food was fresh, hot, and full of flavour, and the service was just as impressive. Abbie went above and beyond to make the experience smooth and enjoyable. It’s not often you get such great customer service while travelling, and this truly stood out. I will definitely return and highly recommend stopping here if you’re passing through!”
“I hadn't been there before and went with a friend for breakfast after quite a heavy night. We had the full Scottish breakfast in the skillet. You could tell everything was proper food and not cheap. I can eat but just managed the portion.”
“Was recommended this place by a friend who lived in Edinburgh. We came with a lot of expectation since it is booked out fast, and we booked way in advance. Still, very positively surprised by all the dishes. Menu sounds like any typical brunch, but special creativity was added to each dish. The mushroom toast is really amazing, sourdough toast was just right. Staff were also very attentive!”
“Loved the menu. It's all very morish. So much flavour. The burgers are huge and the chicken delicious. We went twice. The gluten free options were very good. My celiac wife said it was the best burger she has eaten.”
“So many wonderful vegetarian options! The flavours were incredible. We’d come back to Edinburgh just for this!”
“Lovely venue, right in the heart of Edinburgh. Fish is fresh. Chips ok. Good selection of sauces. Great atmosphere. Reasonably priced. We were served by our lovely waitress Martina, who made us feel welcome and special the whole time. Fried beef dripping, which was nice. Would recommend.”
“Food is always consistently good. There's a big longer wait than you'd find at another fast food place but the food is very much worth it. Just plan ahead for the wait or order in the app :)”
“Friendly, quick service! Definitely recommend!”
“Fresh, flavourful at a very reasonable price. Ate chicken wings which where delicious and the tacos where good, asked for beef, got chicken. Regardless, it was banging. I would of been more upset but the chicken was next level. Wish this establishment was around when I was a student at HW. Looks like the gentleman has just recently started up in Galasheilds so finger cross it becomes popular with the locals. Interior/kitchen hopefully gets investment and a cleaning rota introduced then TACO has the potential to be thee place in Galasheilds. Really glad Galashiels has this diversity of food any town would be proud of. Thanks for reading and hope this helps.”
“Have had four burritos this week from Bonnie Burrito and enjoyed everyone of them. The staff are really friendly, helpful and are always smiling. Their burritos are not expensive and taste great, especially with one of the sauces from their wide selection. I would come here everyday if I had the chance!”
“Friendly and helpful ladies who listen to your order, and open to changes/do it as you like your food. Lots of options from breakfast wraps to lunch burgers , jacket potatoes and chips and stuff. Reasonable prices and where it’s possible please help local businesses than Starbucks and the likes they will anyway make money. There’s a couple of tables outside you can sit and eat and also free on street parking. Will return again!”
“Ordered the ribs with hickory sauce. They were delicious. Margarita was also spot on. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Location gets busy and doesn’t seat loads of people so be organized. No complaints other than I wish the portion of chips was bigger to make sure I didn’t miss any of the hickory sauce.”
“Order from her quite regularly and always happy with the food. Ordered recently and they didn't have my drink order but they were very sweet and gave me a cute note and a replacement”
“Llthe food was soo tasty al, juicy and delicious , Thank you soo much Zeeshan”
“We had a wonderful stay at The Bridge Inn in Ratho this past September. This charming canal-side inn is a hidden gem just outside Edinburgh and near the airport, offering the perfect blend of peaceful countryside atmosphere and excellent hospitality. Our room was comfortable and nicely decorated with lovely views of the Union Canal. The inn has that cozy, traditional Scottish pub feel that makes you instantly feel comfortable and at home. The location right on the canal made for a truly serene setting, especially waking up to the peaceful waterside views. One of the highlights of our stay was our leisurely walk along the Union Canal towpath. The canal walk from Ratho is absolutely beautiful, with tranquil waters reflecting the sky and lush greenery lining the path. We strolled for miles, enjoying the peaceful countryside, watching narrowboats glide by, and spotting ducks and swans along the way. It was the perfect way to unwind and escape the bustle of the city while still being so close to Edinburgh. Dinner at The Bridge Inn's restaurant was fantastic! The menu featured delicious Scottish fare with a modern twist, all made with fresh, quality ingredients. We enjoyed Steak pie and Fish & Chips. The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and inviting, with attentive service from the friendly staff who made excellent recommendations. The combination of comfortable accommodation, stunning canal-side location, wonderful walks, and excellent dining made our stay at The Bridge Inn truly memorable. It's an ideal spot for anyone looking to experience the Scottish countryside while staying close to Edinburgh and to the airport.”
