“My wife and I visited here recently. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The decor is classy yet comfortable. We ordered our food, and when it came relatively fast. The food tasted as good as it looked and vegetables were perfectly cooked. The food and drinks were priced adequately, and everything came under 50 pounds. I would recommend visiting this place. We were pleasantly surprised, and I'm sure other people will enjoy it as much as we did.”

“We did the Thai cooking class and it was great fun! We were shown how to make dumplings as well as massaman curry in a really easy way that can be replicated at home. The hostess and chef were very knowledgeable and approachable. Would definitely recommend this experience.”

“We go to Kimbo when we’ve been shopping at The Avenue . We have coffee and cake or lunch and we’re always so impressed by the staff and the food! Each member of staff is really pleasant and considerate. They remember what you like to eat, suggest alternatives and bring it to the table. Everything is done to make customers comfortable.”

“Lovely, cosy, welcoming place, and the staff were great. Dog friendly too which was great as we're on holiday with our little dog Stevie for the first time so he was able to come for lunch with us! Thank you The Canny Man.”

“A good atmosphere for having breakfast. The smell of the French toast is luring and gets my mouth watering. Good quality food. The waitress is helpful in suggesting food. There’s a second floor overlooking the restaurant below. Will surely come back and try the desserts when time permits. The French toast would be better when given a little more time for soaking in the egg. I would also like the toast under the egg Benedict less on the crunchy side. A thin layer of crispy bread and soft bread inside would be kinder to my teeth. Just found out, door handle and railing are on the sweet side, probably lots of customers like their desserts. Overall, a great breakfast experience.”

“We popped in for food around 6 o'clock. The place was jumping. Waited 10mins for a table ( we didn't mind) food was great and came quite quickly. The service from the girl on the till was amazing, she was super friendly and helpful. She was under pressure trying to serve and clean tables etc however this didn't affect the customer service or smile on her face. Wish I had caught her name as she's an asset to your business date of visit 17/3 around 6pm”

The take away is one of the most hygienic food establishments in motherwell as he is constantly washing his hands after touching anything that could contaminate food. Great value for money. What more could you want from an Indian takeaway!”

Manager is one of the nicest people do not be put off by the 12 midnight shut as it is more than Worth it. Manager was very helpful and is just a regular family man like you or I. Food was top quality all fresh which is all you can ask for and the prices of there dalmore beats the average boozer by £2 a nip. Do not worry about portion size it is definitely adequate. Bedrooms are small but I got a single so don't think you and the Mrs can fit a single room. Other than this everything else was perfect. Loved my stay thanks again for making it feel like home for my 3 day stay!!”

“Surprisingly quiet for a Friday night. Had a lovely sirloin steak daughter had fajitas. Both delicious. This place has picked its self up and is a very attractive restaurant and bar. I would highly recommend a visit not the cheapest but very excellent all round.”

“Visited one of the newly refurbished Belhaven pubs and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The refurbishment has really transformed the space — warm, welcoming and full of character. “Really great food. Very fast service. The brunch menu is a good length, plenty to choose from but not too much choice. Really varied too so most likely will please most people. I would definitely recommend the French toast...absolutely delicious!”
