“Nice restaurant good choice of drinks alcoholic and non alcoholic, had breakfast and dinner must be honest breakfast a bit slow but still tasty when it arrived and plenty of choice,evening meal really nice I recommend the rib Eye steak, nice friendly efficient staff excellent well done”

“Fantastic place to eat. Mum took me there years ago and I go with her whenever we go to Paisley. £6 for a three course lunch for the majority of the week.”

“The food is usually very high quality, especially for the reasonable prices. The only thing that could be better is the service for drinks. I was there yesterday having a pre-theatre meal and was waiting too long for a drink for the main meal. I had to go to the bar and order it, it was taking that long. Other than this, everything else was the usual standards this place has - very good. The food was quality, the value of price is very good, the menu is authentic & the staff are very friendly. The only other critical feedback is maybe they are too quick with firing meals at customers. I always have to ask them to hold fire with desert for an extra 5 minutes because of how quick they get you your starter, main and desert. A little more time inbetween would be welcoming to allow the previous dish to properly digest. These are small critiques, but the overall bigger picture for me is this restaurant is very decent & is a very good spot in the city centre.”

“Myself, friends, and family have all been going here for years now. The lady who answers the phone and the man who cooks are always really nice and friendly. The food is always really good and well priced for what it is. Would recommend to anyone who's looking for good cafe food or simple rolls. I can't understand any of the negative reviews.”

“I have used this Beefeater for 3 weekends, while staying at the hotel next door. The service and staff were excellent. Very welcoming, friendly and a relaxed atmosphere. Pauline is amazing, one breakfast in particular, it was packed and yet she ensured everyone was attended to, all their needs were met and all with a smile on her face. Thank you! X”

“I ordered a buffet and cake for my daughter's birthday party with only a weeks notice. Both were delicious and so fresh. The cake was stunning, it was such a shame to cut it! I would highly recommend Get Stuffed!”

“Ambiance was casual but elevated, the service was excellent which matched the food! We came for lunch for their prix fixe and had a mackerel confit, a chicken with asparagus risotto and sorbet for dessert. The salty mackerel was well balanced with the milder biscuit and fennel and the freshness of the mackerel was not overpoweringly fishy. The chicken tasted sous vide and was very tender despite being the breast. There was a generous amount of butter and cream in the risotto - it was so smooth! And the crunchy parmesan “cracker” was delicious. I tried so many sorbet flavours and must say the strawberry was definitely my favourite and perhaps the best strawberry sorbet i have ever had (admittedly I do not gravitate towards sorbets so have limited experience)… it tasted like fresh pureed sweetened strawberries! The vanilla ice cream has real vanilla bean (delish!); and if you like eating figs, the fig sorbet tastes exactly like a fresh fig. Highly recommend!”

“Visited three Thursdays on a row for sit in set lunch 3 course meal for £7.95 with my son Food and service was excellent, how they produce so much for so little cash is amazing. Small touchs like sealed wet wipes, toothpicks and peppermints and beautiful service dishes add to the experience”

“I can't speak for atmosphere but the food is.always banging.... guy can come off as a bit grumpy but I think he's nice enough, it's just his manner. Don't let it deter you as its probably theeeee best chinese I've ever had and it's very consistent with quality. Slightly pricey but worth it.”

“The Lum is really good as far as Beefeaters go. The service is quick, the food is really good (highly recommend anything with the pulled beef on it). Obviously it's a Beefeater so the food isn't going to be exceptional, but for the price (especially their weekday £9.95 for 2 courses) you really can't fault it! Their drinks are good, cocktails don't have any nasty cheap taste like some places I've been to.”

Everyone was happy and very full. The service was excellent, all the staff were friendly and helpful. They were busy, as its obviously a popular spot but we didn't have to wait too long.
