“I can't speak for atmosphere but the food is.always banging.... guy can come off as a bit grumpy but I think he's nice enough, it's just his manner. Don't let it deter you as its probably theeeee best chinese I've ever had and it's very consistent with quality. Slightly pricey but worth it.”

“An amazing place. The staff are so cheerful, helpful and polite, the decor is gorgeous, felt so welcome and cozy straight away. The food was made to order in an open plan kitchen, which was very clean and everything was made fresh. The food itself was absolutely delicious! “Enjoyed a lovely brunch today. I had the eggs benedict which were cooked to perfection while the rest of my group had the full cooked breakfast and the vegan equivalent. Everyone was happy and very full. The service was excellent, all the staff were friendly and helpful. They were busy, as its obviously a popular spot but we didn't have to wait too long. Great value for money, we will be back soon!”

“Ordered a Salt & Chilli Munchy Box between the two of us, it was very spicy and there was so much there we didn't manage to finish the box. The delivery came within seconds of the time we were given. Enjoyed The Lantern.”

“Ordered through Airdrie Eats. Ordered a katsu chicken ramen noodles bowl... I was really surprised when it came and full of fresh veg (shredded carrot, red cabbage, sweetcorn, bean sprouts) all in their own section and not all mixed, a boiled egg (halved) and 2 crispy panko chicken fillets sliced with the soup stock in a separate carton. Beautiful! Ordered bulgoogi Beef and received chicken. It none the less, it was really nice and big one bowl portions. Both dishes a really nice change from the usual repetitive stuff. Will be ordering again soon.”

“My wife and I LOVE the restaurant Pickled Ginger on Argyle Street Glasgow. We were advised that they had relocated a limited menu to the Cranside Kitchen as part of their response to COVID 19. FOOD We booked and turned up not expecting to have the flexibility to choose from 3 other restaurants (Rioja, Halloumi and can't remember the other!) We stuck to our original choice and didn't regret it. ALL the food (yes, ALL OF IT) was DELICIOUS! The loaded Kimchi fries were spicy but not overly so. The katsu chicken was generous in its portion and the pumpkin Tonkatsu was also delicious. Best Salmon Sashimi we've ever had also. The best Chocolate Mochi and Baklava we've ever had!!! AMBIANCE We were sat by the window and upon arrival could have day outside if we wanted to. The view of the Clyde side was lovely. PARKING Final thing, the restaurant give you free all day parking upon arrival so that you don't need to worry about paying for a car park space. They take your vehicle registration. NEGATIVE (ONLY 1) My only negative is that a large soft drink is £3.50 or £2.50 for a regular soft drink. This is where most of our £10 per head eat out government discount was spent as we had 2 large soda water and limes each.”

“I came this morning for a coffee while waiting for my car to be fixed in a nearby garage This review is not about the food. It is about the cleanliness and the friendly staff. I’ve sat in many McDonalds but never seen one as clean as this One staff was cleaning the bathrooms. They were spotless. Another member of staff was cleaning the dining area. He was cleaning every little corner, under the seats and around the tables. In addition, the staff were lovely, pleasant and friendly Well done everyone for your hard work. Often, these things are unnoticed and people focus on food and offers. For me, cleanliness and friendly staff is more important and this was abundant here today”

“Honestly don’t understand the bad reviews. My girlfriend introduced me to grill guru and it’s honestly some of the best food I’ve ever had! The guru special burger is the best burger I’ve ever had in my life no exaggeration! Better than five guys! The loaded fries are unreal too and I called up once and asked to switch the sauce to garlic sauce and they did it. Good prices and honestly cannot recommend enough! Really don’t understand all these bad reviews”

“Hadn't had a kebab for the longest time and couldn't stop thinking about having on. I was passing Kismet takeaway and dropped in, I was not disappointed, I had a fantastic large donner kebab for only £7.50. While waiting numerous people came in for pre ordered pizzas and curry's, all of them delighted with their purchases. Highly recommend.”

“This is one of my favourite places to order from, unfortunately I had a bit of a hiccup tonight with my order but the staff were lovely and very quick to replace my meal and they even delivered it to me, it was only one part of my meal that I had a problem with but they replaced the whole order....thanks again, brilliant service and great staff”
