“This hotel is really top! I´ve been here several times on business trips and has never been disapointed about the rooms, cleaness or the service. One thing though, I would like to see the breakfast a bit improved. In particular the bread, cold sauges and the orange juce. But the rest is nice! Will come again”

“Can't recommend it highly enough. Took my 90 year old grandparents here for lunch to celebrate my grandma's birthday and the staff and food were amazing. The food was delicious, high quality, there were plenty of veggie options, gluten free etc, and it was clearly cooked well and by someone who cares what they're doing. I didn't get the name of the man working in the restaurant but he was so great with my grandparents and they were able to modify the menu to suit my grandma's needs so a huge thanks to all the staff today. We all absolutely loved everything about our experience and we're super impressed. Oh and the birthday dessert for my grandma was a really lovely surprise!”

“Tom and his team deliver a first class finished product tailored to your house. Tom has completed a number of projects for us in a house which has sloping floors and old wonky walls. He understands these houses and all of his work is scribed in on site, working with the house, to deliver a product which fits properly and adds to the homely feel. Paul and Anneka provided a very friendly and professional service as did the fitting team. Armed with a basic design and pictures from Pinterest, Paul listened to to my requirements and developed a great design, accommodating my champagne taste on a beer budget. Ultimately providing a kitchen which has exceeded my expectations in build quality for less than anything I found elsewhere.”

“Owen completed our kitchen nearly 18months ago now and it still feels and looks new. Owen quickly sorted a few minor issues we had initially and installed an extra shelf that we realised we needed. “The roast pork bento (rice box) was nicely done. The pork was succulent and the Japanese rice was cooked al dente, the way it should be cooked..though the pork is a bit too sweet. Also a few more pieces of broccoli will be lovely.”

I highly recommend checking out their Friday steak dinners and the drinks are still amazing. This place is just beautiful. The food is lovely. The drinks are elegant. It's a stunning place to just kind of linger over dessert or that "just one more" drink.”

“We used HKT for the first time this weekend, as our "usual" was closed. What a find! We screwed up our payment online and chanced a quick call before opening times. It was answered and all was sorted out. Food was ordered for 5.30pm. It arrived at 5.30pm. Delivered piping hot and looked superb. It was obviously freshly prepared with some of the best tasting ingredients I've ever had from a takeaway. Sure, it wasn't cheap but we've enough for two dinners. I'm so looking forward to eating it again tomorrow. Well done HKT. You're doing it right and we shall be using you for our "special treat" dinners in the future.”

“The Crown is an excellent place to stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Our room had been recently renovated to a high standard and was very comfortable. The bar offered a great selection of beers and wines, and the food was both delicious and reasonably priced. We stayed on a Saturday night, and the lively bar atmosphere added to the overall experience. We wouldn’t hesitate to return to The Crown for another stay.”

“Going through Uber Eats was terrible as they would not allow me to amend/cancel an order that was literally placed seconds before. I ended up calling straight to store to ensure my dietary requirements were met/I didn't waste my money. Whoever was on the other side of the phone was amazing. They resolved my issue and made sure my food arrived correctly. A massive thank you for whoever it was that made sure I didn't end up in a food mood!”
