“Hi, I came in yesterday to the Birkenhead store on Grange Road, to get one of them birthday cakes which you put your own photograph on. To say I struggled to do it was an understatement. I asked a young lad in the bakery if he could help me at all. He didn't hesitate to come and show me how it was done. I would have been lost without him. He was kind, patient, and nothing was too much trouble. I asked him his name, and he said it was Kieran. I'd just like to thank him so much for his help and to say he is an asset to your store x. “I went to boots today and spoke to a lovely ladies called Clare in the make up section, she was nice and patient and helpful, with me and helped me find the right foundation and conceler, bronzer for my face. She made me feel comfortable.”

“Wow ! what a transformation, on my visit last month I waited in a queue for many minutes for my tablets. Today I recieved a text message informing me my medication was ready and it included what shelf it was on (never had this before). When I entered the Pharmacy i was greeted with smiles and picked my medication up in seconds. I hope this continues. Keep up the fantastic work.”

“I have been using this chemist since it opened, the staff are always polite and friendly, Trying to do there very best. Mark were an asset to the place but unfortunately has now left. This team work so hard and yes I have face bothers regarding low stock medication but to me that is no excuse for some customers to be so dame rude, they are doing the very best in a busy pharmacy. Medications are now stored in hubs, which has slowed the process down in all pharmacy's. But that is not the staff fault, they do there upmost best.”

“I was seen by the Pharmacist on duty last night after discovering the insect bites I got on my legs over the weekend were gradually becoming more red, swollen and painful to walk on. I was seen straight away and he had marked where the swelling had got to, then advised me to come back again today to see if there was an infection present which I did and was confirmed that the bites had become infected. Again on today's visit I was seen straight away and was quickly prescribed antibiotics and was given sound advice to help alleviate the symptoms I am experiencing. Extremely helpful and the other members of staff also on duty were very pleasant to speak to as well. Thank you for your help all x”

“Our Bichon Poppy has been seen by Rohan since she was a tiny puppy, and she’s now 10 years old. He’s such a caring person and an amazing vet, we feel lucky to have found him and always feel Poppy is in good hands with him. Poppy is quite nervous at the vets and it’s really helped that Rohan has always taken such care with her and tried to keep appointments as stress free as possible. As owners we have always found him so approachable and always willing to explain everything in simple terms, which is so reassuring when Poppy is ill.”

“We have been taking our dogs here for a few years. They are happy to go and we are happy with the way they are cared for. The fact we can take their own food means no upset tummies when we get them back. We also take their own bedding and toys. We get a small discount for 2 in a bed and for our own food. Their accommodation is big and heated when needed. Hayley and Mike and their staff are professional but very friendly. Our 5 dogs love them and we highly recommend them.”

“The help and customer service that I received from the 2 gents was second to none! I called at 16.30pm on Bonfire night to find out what they had to help my dog cope with the fireworks. They informed me that they were just closing (they close an hour early on Bonfire Night, NYE etc to tend to their own dogs/pets) but if I could get there asap, they would wait. When I got there, they had a few products waiting and gave me a full rundown of how each of them worked. Following a personal recommendation (which was actually the cheaper product) I took home the product 'Fireworks'. Homeopathic based drops that could be given orally or in his water bowl. They explained, thoroughly, how to use it and the results spoke for themselves. With a little help from some cuddles and TV, my boy didn't even know it was bonfire night!!! I couldn't recommend this place more!!! Thank you so so much!!! The pictures say more than I ever could!! Thank you from myself and Khan (Age 10) x”

“When our elderly dog became sick, the vets, particularly Laura and Tom, tried everything they could to ease his discomfort and gave us a lot of advice on how to help him. In the end it became too much for him and we had to let him go. Laura made his passing very peaceful and gave us as much time as we wanted with him. Afterwards she even sent us a handwritten condolence card with his pawprint and the date of his passing. Cannot recommend this practice highly enough”

“Absolutely top advice, our kids have the most unique choice in pets and we were really drawing a blank and where to get Vampire crabs from and how to look after them etc etc....... so we popped into Andy's Aquatics and unbelievably they are setting up a section just for different types of pet such as vampire crabs. The guy on the counter (guessing it's Andy) was brilliant really really informative helpful and told us he'd have the section all up and running shortly. As we are not really looking to do it till next year we will pop back in and deal directly with Andy's Aquatics as to doing it online. If you're after something a little "out there" you'd be daft not to give these guys a little visit....... Chances are they'll have exactly what you need or are great at giving advise! Seemingly with no agenda get get you to part with your cash unlike other places. Thanks again for your help so far”

“We moved to this practice after multiple bad experiences at our last practice and couldn’t be happier. We’ve just had our 1 year old collie spayed and she came home happy even immediately following the procedure. She was clearly well looked after and we were told she had lots of cuddles (which she clearly did, I’ve never seen a dog come out of surgery so happy!). The reception team are always friendly and helpful. There was a mistake with our flea&wormer order but this was fixed within a couple of minutes with no fuss. The team are all very knowledgeable and clearly care a lot about their work. The only downside is parking can be a little tricky as the road is small and there isn’t a lot of spaces.”

“Took my 2 year old Dwarf hamster for an emergency on the day appointment for a possible impacted cheek pouch. We saw Dr. R Davies and he spent a great deal of time examining his patient to ensure he got the correct diagnosis. He figured out it was a case of my hamster not being able to empty his pouch on his own and proceeded to empty it for him using a manual intervention. This was entirely successful much to the relief of both my hamster and myself. He also saw there was a lump on his head that I never noticed, which proved how in-depth his examination was and went through possible treatment plans. I must commend Dr Davies on his professional expertise and also the manner in which he handled my pet and myself. Also can I add how lovely the receptionist was who greeted me and put me at ease. If your hamster suffers from a possible impacted pouch too, you must ensure you get this seen to immediately by a trained professional. I highly recommend this practice for their expertise, availability and great value for money.”

“Thank you so much to Rob & the team at Hoylake vets for assisting us through a difficult time with our giant African land snail, Brian. We were not registered at Hoylake vets and struggled to find a vets that could help us after a emergency arose with him, Hoylake vets managed to get us a quick appointment and followed up with emails and phone calls. Unfortunately Brian didn’t make it, and the vets thankfully managed to help us preserve his shell to treasure forever. To some, Brian is ‘just a snail’, but to Rob and the team he was treated just as well as any other animal, and we will be forever grateful for the wonderful care Brian received. “The building itself is well maintained, accessible ramp as well as steps to the entrance. Clean and seating area for waiting. The staff are all very pleasent and helpful, the vet we saw was great and explained everything to us very well, including thr expected price of treatment options.”

“Always really helpful on phone and often have appointments available at short notice if needed. Both my rabbits have been treated well for both scheduled and unplanned visits, and always come home better for it. Vets are never cheap obviously, but so far seem most reasonable prices locally, from the little research I've done to compare for things like operations and vaccinations. Different vets on different visits, but all the staff we've met so far have been friendly and professional.”
