“I attended tonight on a recommendation ftom.a friend in work, what a lovely restaurant. Staff were lovely, attentive, food was amazing, has a nice feel.about it relaxed. One of the group has good allergies & they were amazing with this, spoke to the chef and she was accommodated without any problem. The early bird menu is so good and brilliant prize, portions are great. I will be back very soon, I highly recommend trying it.”

“Came here on a bank holiday weekend for a bottomless brunch and we were not disappointed!!! Most BB's only really serve prosecco with quite standard basic food options. Castle St's drink choices were nothing short of amazing. So much variety and options, to the point we weren't really too bothered if the food matched up! However much to our surprise the food was equally amazing!! Will definitely be recommending this one for Liverpool. 10/10 service and the staff were super friendly!!”

“I had a wonderful dining experience at The Partridge after a walk around Marbury Park. The staff were warm, attentive, and welcoming. They were also very accommodating to us with dogs, staff also giving them a fuss and a biscuit each (we had 3 spaniels), which created a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere. Overall, a lovely meal and an enjoyable visit. Will definitely be visiting again and would highly recommend the ‘Partridge buddha bowl with added Halloumi’ which tasted delicious.”

“Absolutely amazing and quality food. Highly recommend the burgers, any are superb and especially the sweet chili chicken bites....wow!!!! I could just eat loads of those. Delivery is decent for timing, never had an issue and arrives as close to the time as possible, (astong traffic is terrible) but they live up to expectations. Never been inside so I cant rate for the service but I am sure its great.”

We enjoy their duck every time. They also have a very tasty onion soup. This place has much wider space than it looks from outside. Proper for big group meetings including company dinners.”

She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making sure everything was just right without being intrusive. “I would recommend booking before arriving for a Sunday roast as this place was absolutely buzzing! The soup of the day was melt in your mouth delicious and flavoured perfectly! We tried the chicken, pork and beef roasts. They were equally amazing. I preferred the chicken as it came with crispy skin. The pork came with wonderful crackling if that's your bag. You cannot leave here without having pudding. The brownie, cheesecake and toffee pudding were out of this world. The kitchen is on point with timing and the wait staff did them proud despite how busy it was. Lovely, warm, welcoming and worth a visit for sure. You won't regret it!”

“Located on Love st Chester this is a great place to try out locally brewed ales and grab a great quality meal. There are some steps to the front of the building which lead on to a very large open room with plenty of seating with smaller rooms off ,they offer master classes in all types of drinks , friendly staff and very clean”

“A most enjoyable afternoon here after exploring the Whitegate trail! Top quality fish & chips and very interesting choice of draught beer!!! Had Camden Town Brewery Stout for 1st time and was better than Guinness! Tasted similar to Murphys stout! Also had Henry Westons Vintage Cider! Friendly staff and reasonable price! Great choice of other dishes on menu! Will be making a return visit for sure!!!”

“1st visit for us today, came away determined to return sometime soon. My wife had the Thai curry which she said was delicious, I had the Fish and Chips. The fish was substantial and delicious, but, the chips were cut too thin with the result that a good number could not be fork eaten and were hard. The portion of chips was also a tad stingy. As mentioned in previous posts the drinks are expensive, I've had cheaper pints in London. But despite this we will be back and in larger numbers I think.”
