“I love this place! One of two venues in Wrexham I can comfortably call nice, classy or desirable. Great atmosphere, good food and the cocktails are spectacular. Rarely get into anything much more than the long island iced tea but have samples a good cross section over the years. The atmosphere is cosy early on, with comfortable, stylish furnishings and low-ish lighting, suited to quiet drinks with conversation, dates etc. Later into the evening on weekends at least they have some great local talent in doing acoustic covers and original music with plenty of audience participation encouraged but not in a lazy way. Food is a pleasant mix of Mediterranean through traditional and well executed. I've been there as a casual visitor for drinks and/or food and also on work outings, group catered and been equally pleased each time.”

“Found this little gem last minute. Had roast dinner here and it was amazing. Food was so fresh and hot. Beef just melted in the mouth. Staff are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely be back when we are in the area again. Really relaxed atmosphere as well.”

“Visited as a group of 7 friends and had Pippa serving us who was friendly, professional and a real asset to the pub. There was a bit of a mix up in the kitchen which delayed part of the order but once flagged the manager handled the situation really well and sorted things out for us. Live music and open fire made a great atmosphere - a little loud for us oldies who struggled to hear each other but there is another dining room which was much quieter so would request sitting there next time. Overall we are well with good sized portions. I had mushroom lasagna which was pretty good.”

“Absolutely incredible. Went for our anniversary tea ( 19/12/24)The Fox has just reopened under the management of Craig and Jo, just wow. The pub was bustling and busy, the staff were smiling and attentive. The food was incredible. We went for Nachos and Chicken strips, mains were proper home made lasagne and steak and ale pie. Too full for pudding but went in to the bar for a drink after, again bustling and smiling faces, the pub was cosy and warm. 10 out of 10 both of you. See you over Christmas”

“What can I say? We came from far away ..and stopped for lunch on Monday. The welcome was pleasant, the table had a stunning view of the reserve and the park, the food was outstanding, the selection was excellent and the flavors were great!! The staf were friendly, the price was good, everything was perfect, whoever doesn't come is missing out!!! We will be back again when we are in the area and will recommend it to others ...”

“Better than toby and great price. My one criticism would be the meat is always on scraps when I arrive I'd also like to see pork on the menu. If you ask for the meat refreshed they will bring more out. Happy customer”

“We went there for my cousin’s birthday celebrations with a small group of family and friends . We were put in a room at the end of the bar, so we were altogether and not disturbed by anyone else in the pub. The food buffet was very good and we had a great time and everyone enjoyed the afternoon celebrations. Thank you very much xx”

“Those lads in BK think their name was Rob and Ben was absolutly amazing i mean the crem de la crem. Food was so amazing and so so so tasty so much better than what my girlfriend makes me. I mean we are talking a 11/10 top tier. If this was a mitchelin star restaurant you would be up there.Food was very affordable and kits of variety.Love those lads for the great service.”

“We visited the Bistro Franc for dinner on a week night and were not disappointed. On arrival, we were immediately shown to our table. Restaurant does get very busy so will highly recommend booking ahead. Service was amazing, quick, friendly, and very polite. Food was cooked to perfection, and all our meals were yummy. I would highly recommend the lamb shank. It comes in a very generous portion. All in all, we had a great night and I would highly recommend the Bistro Franc in liverpool”

“La Parrilla has great atmosphere that felt authentic and like stepping instantly out of Merseyside, and Britain, into a much more relaxed and welcoming environment. It was lively but not rowdy. The staff are friendly and helpful, and clearly take pride in what they do. I was very impressed with the service from all members of the team that we interacted with; they were confident, competent, pleasant and respectful. I wasn’t paying much attention to other tables, but it seemed as if everything was running smoothly and everyone was having a good time. The food was excellent and reasonably priced, and the Sangria was possibly the best I have had… certainly in the UK. The restaurant is clean, as were the glasses, dinnerware, and cutlery. I definitely recommend La Parrilla.”

“My puppy and I visited here on a long walk and oh my gosh the hospitality!!! Anna saw us looking particularly lost and showed us to the garden area. We were then extremely well looked after. Anna provided us with cushions and an umbrella (to block the sun) and the young helpful lad inside got us both a drink. We were looked after so unbelievably well. I’ve honestly never received such an incredible level of hospitality and appreciate it so much. We felt so welcome. Your team who we met were absolutely outstanding, especially Anna. “Called in for something to eat for tea whilst staying nearby. It was a very nicely done out pub, not particularly busy at the time we arrived. We ordered on the app, drinks arrived promptly and as we were seated near the kitchen area, we had a good view of the food being prepared and served to various other diners. Our food arrived pretty quickly and the young lad that served us was very attentive, popping by the table to check all was OK. We recommend this pub to family we were visiting the next day in Wigan.”
