“Moved to St James' Street area recently and tried Chow & Cha just before lockdown and was blown away! Very good value, really tasty dishes packed full of flavour! Generous with the extras too :) Special recommendations for the Crispy Chilli Beef (see pic) - best in town! “We were arranged by the British Airways as our flight was delayed. We arrived at check in counter at about 6:00 pm, all the check in process is smooth and efficient, the staff is nice to gave us the meals coupons and recommended us to take the right time shuttle bus to airport in order to catch the flight tomorrow morning. The hotel renovation is fair, the decoration hanging on the wall of the corridor is unique. The room is clean and spacious, bed & the quilting is comfy, environment is quiet. There have fridge, kettle & the shower have great water pressure, the only thing I concern is the hair dryer is so poor. The experience over all for us is very good and we will recommend this hotel to my friends.”

“Regular stayer. Pretty much faultless. The rooms are spotless and the housekeeping ladies do an excellent job turning a room around even in busy times. Front of house is a bit dated now but the service provided by the staff is excellent very happy to accommodate even the most tiresome of visitors. Nothing is too small or big for all the staff who are very attentive and have a great positive attitude. Jesvil is very good as the manager, and has his staff/colleages are a tribute to him. Great team. Ultimate Wi-Fi is faultless too.”

“I was in the area, and being from Birmingham, I saw this place first. What a blessing! It was a lovely, cozy spot that looked like a family-run Caribbean restaurant with beautiful service. The lady introduced me to sorrel juice for the first time in my life, and I'll definitely be looking forward to trying some more closer to home. The food was delicious, and it was Halal. “We were in London recently and we wanted to try somewhere different to the other places we had eaten at previously, and we were so glad we discovered Orient. We were greeted by a very friendly young lady who gave my girlfriend advice (as she doesn't like too spicy food) on some recommendations, and I was delighted to see that they done an extensive curry range (as some of the places we had visited in Chinatown previously did not have any curry's on the menu). The decor was very nice and the place was very clean. ALL the staff we dealt with were so friendly and they could not have been anymore helpful, and we were given ample time to browse the menu at their extensive menu range. The service was very quick. On our first visit I got prawn crackers and sesame prawn toast for a starter. And the main I chose a beef curry with Thai fragrance steamed rice. The beef was absolutely beautiful, it was thinly cut and was SO tender and perfectly cooked. The rice was perfectly cooked. My girlfriend got Spring Rolls for a starter, and for her main she got sweet & sour spare ribs, and she said it was absolutely beautiful. On our second visit I got a lamb curry with the Thai fragranced steamed rice and my girlfriend got Pork belly with preserved vegetables and noodles and beansprouts, and again it was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. Another thing I will add is we both got the Lychee juice, and it was lovely, and it went very nicely with our food, and we had not seen this type of juice at other places. And again on our second visit the staff were exceptionally friendly and the service again, very quick. We both were of the same opinion that the Orient will be our go to place for a Chinese meal when we are in London, and we both cannot wait to go back again and sample their delicious food again.”

“The whole experience from start to finish was fantastic. I had two wingback armchairs and a telephone seat reupholstered. Carol was very helpful providing advice and a quote over email, and kept me informed of expected lead in times. She even advised me on how to secure a discount on my chosen fabric. It was really helpful for me that the quote included a collection and delivery service. The end result is even better than I expected. Very neat and professional, with expert pattern matching on the pair of chairs, even though I'd forgotten to specify this. They also carefully kept all fabric cuttings and returned them to me, again without being asked. Could not recommend strongly enough.”
