“We love the hotel and the location. Great views and upscale vibe. Xavier checked us in and made us feel at home by explaining all the amenities thoroughly. He made an excellent pub recommendation for lunch too. Overall Xavier went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. All is well.”

“Nice hotel at a reasonable price with really great staff. Loved the breakfast with many options and again with great staff that was very observant and kept everything clean and tidy around the buffet and tables. The hotel sits next to the Underground (Aldgate East) and just a 10 min. walk to Liverpool Street Station. So thumbs up - would choose again.”

“Very good value for money. Big rooms with comfortable beds. Location is nice with bars, restaurants and shops nearby. A bit noisy because of traffic and planes, but thats what you get in busy London. It's only 1 hour with public transport to the center of London and just 30 minutes tot Heathrow airport. The staff is kind and helpful. I only used breakfast and the variation an quality was perfect for me.”

“We had a pleasant stay at the Ibis hotel, very close to public transport and leisure activity centre. Also a large parking to choose from, so no issue coming here by car. The hotel had a nice atmosphere and a good reception area The rooms were cleaned very well by Gogu and Mariana, so thank you to them. Only beware the bathrooms are rather small, but otherwise would recommend this hotel to anyone considering it.”

“The room was pleasant and lovely and clean. Staff were helpful. Location was perfect. My only issue was the shower head leaked a little, but I had a very comfortable 2 nights away. On site parking was a bonus. Thanks to Brivony with your help sorting out the parking payment. Overall a good stay, would definitely use again.”

“We stay at a lot of Premier Inn’s when going on mini-breaks with the kids and this is probably the favourite one we’ve stayed in. Excellent location, close to Warner Bros / Harry Potter tour. Room (Quad / Family) was clean and spacious. Great air conditioning too. Breakfast (cooked by Frank) was delicious and well presented (Eggs were cooked to order). All of the staff (especially Marie/Maria) were pleasant, friendly and very helpful. The whole place had a nice, relaxed vibe. Would definitely recommend.”

“This is our second time staying and it has been brilliant. The room size is brilliant, great value for money and very clean. The hotel manager and his staff have been fantastic. Wi-Fi works well but mobile data also works. Located a stones throw away from the train/tube station and a large variety of shops and food options, I absolutely recommend this hotel.”

Big shout out to Megan, who was amazing, so kind, smiley and so helpful, a real blessing!(This is a bonus when travelling solo with two young kids)! The rest of the staff were brilliant too! So helpful and you can tell that they are genuinely happy to work here! The room was great, and I will definitely be coming back!”

“From the moment we arrived at The Cumberland Hotel, we knew we were in for something special. Our stay was simply wonderful — every detail seemed to be taken care of with genuine care and attention. A huge thank you goes to the VIP team, led by Antonella and Martina, who went above and beyond to make our visit unforgettable. Their warmth and professionalism made us feel like true guests of honor. The kids were absolutely thrilled with their little surprises — it was such a thoughtful touch that made them feel extra special. Seeing their smiles made our stay even more meaningful. And as for me, I was deeply touched by the lovely birthday treatment — from the kind gestures to the personalized surprises, everything was done with such heart. It’s rare to find a team that puts so much effort into making guests feel celebrated and appreciated. The hotel itself was fantastic — comfortable, stylish, and perfectly located — but it’s really the people who made this experience stand out. Thank you, Antonella, Grace, Martina, and the whole Cumberland team, for creating such beautiful memories for our family. We left with full hearts and can’t wait to return!”

“Hddn Grvs: A High-Fidelity Prelude to an Epic Day Before the adrenaline of the pitch, my husband and I kicked off what was already a bucket list day at Hddn Grvs, a phenomenal high-fidelity listening cocktail bar right in the London city center. Tucked away and possessing a distinctly speakeasy vibe, Hddn Grvs is an elegant and bold nod to the golden age of vinyl and the pioneering spirit of Virgin Records. It’s more than just a place for drinks; it’s an immersive experience where you can truly sink into curated sound at the dedicated listening stations. The cocktail menu is pure genius, artfully remixing iconic ‘70s albums with a modern twist. The drinks are bold, nostalgic, and totally made to be discovered. It was the perfect, stylish, and electrifying pause before the main event. What a truly unforgettable and exciting day—everything about it felt perfectly curated!”

“5-Star Stay at Premier Inn Simpson Road, Bromley What a lifeline this place was during a rough patch! After a frustrating run-in with Monzo (looking at you, Cookie Monster vibes), where I felt wrongly judged—like a criminal when I’m actually a pensioned-off Royal Marine Commando battling health woes—I rolled up here needing a reset. And reset they delivered, Per Mare Per Terram style. Natasha, Roni, and Ouqhiba? Absolute legends—caring, efficient, and spot-on, like the ultimate “good wife” squad every traveler dreams of when stress hits hard. They handled everything with warmth and zero judgment, reminding me of that timeless wisdom: Know thyself, love thyself, love thy neighbor, and never judge a book by its cover. True pros who turned my freeze-up into a thaw-out. The room was spotless and comfy, but the real MVPs were the seabass (flaky perfection) and crisp apple juice at dinner—simple, satisfying fuel for the soul. Revolut sorted my payments smoothly, no drama. Premier Inn, you nailed it. God bless you all—book here and breathe easy. 10/10, no hesitation.”

“Would book again. Clean rooms, very polite and helpful staff, many options to chose from for breakfast and for me who is a coffee lover I really appreciated the coffee machine they had that provided multiple types of coffee. They location is both good and bad. It's next to the train station which on the one hand is really helpful especially if you're a foreigner like us but there's a bit of noise from the trains, nothing major though, we booked a second night in the end. I'd definitely book again. Parking was limited but isn't a problem if you don't have one”

“We stayed here for 5 nights as a family of four. It was was a lovely spacious room with ample space for what we need especially as we mainly used it to sleep as we were out most of the time. The staff were really friendly especially at breakfast, our first couple of days it was really busy but the staff were amazing nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was constantly being topped up and was fresh. I really liked they did gluten free bread on request.”

“My stay at the Crowne Plaza London - Kings Cross was fantastic. The hotel's location is extremely convenient, just a short walk from King's Cross station. Our room was modern, spotless, and quiet, providing a very comfortable stay. The true highlight, however, was the service. I must specifically commend the Front Desk Manager, Janith, for his exceptional professionalism. He went above and beyond to resolve a small issue with our booking, handling it with incredible efficiency and care. His commitment to guest satisfaction was truly impressive. Thanks to the excellent service and great facilities, I highly recommend this hotel.”

“I recently stayed two nights at Ibis London Excel Docklands while attending a business event at Excel London and I had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the venue, which made attending the event very convenient. The team was friendly, welcoming and always ready to help. The hotel itself felt cosy and comfortable with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. I especially loved the breathtaking view from my room, it really added a special touch to the experience. Overall, a great stay in an excellent location. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Excel London for business or leisure.”

“Great hotel overall, good location and good rooms. We didn't use any room service so I can't value it. Air conditioner is not regulable so I cannot choose air power and it's very noisy, but not as noisy as the fridge, which makes very loud random weird sounds, not letting me sleep well. Small old TV with not much technology, just including some basic channels and nothing else. Bathtub has a curtain, which is pretty old and weird to see as it's not very sanity-friendly, but it's cheaper, of course.”

“After staying at dozens of Holiday Inns in the USA this came as an amazing surprise as the level of service and standards was far far higher than expected. The rooms, although somewhat cozy felt brand new and the bed and pillows were outstanding. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and extensive and the only thing that detracted from the experience was the fact that there were rampaging, yelling and screaming children running roughshot all throughout the dining and buffet area. Would definitely stay here again, but will bring earplugs now down to the restaurant.”

“Room was large with a great bed, lots of different pillow types and sleep quality was excellent, rooms were also quiet. TV, wifi was perfect, lots of charge points including a EU socket. I liked the large window with roller blinds too. Breakfast had a very good range of products, self service or you could order specifically cooked eggs. Some food options nearby or their Zoom restaurant is available as was room service.. Most of all it's the first hotel I've been in where they had recycling bins in the room. A great stay, and staff were very good too.. oh and the rooms have fridges too!!!”

“We recently celebrated our wedding anniversary with a stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Borehamwood, and it was truly unforgettable. From the moment we booked, the team went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Their support and kindness—even before we arrived—set the tone for a wonderful experience. We stayed in an accessible room, which was spotlessly clean, tidy, and thoughtfully laid out. It made our stay comfortable and stress-free, which we really appreciated. The restaurant staff were outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, and the beautifully organised presentation made our anniversary feel extra special. Every detail reflected care and professionalism. Thank you to everyone who helped make our stay so memorable. We left with full hearts and beautiful memories—and we’ll definitely be returning.”

“Excellent value for family stays in London. Perfect location next to underground and close to overground and uber boat pier, shops and restaurants. Extremely family-friendly staff made the stay fun and special (half term, Halloween). Kids eat free offer makes breakfast fantastic value. The hotel itself is dated and in desperate need of refurbishment - especially the bathrooms - and the cleaning in our bathroom could have been much better. However, the family room was large and the beds very comfy, and the staff and location easily make up for the outdated building. Overall, excellent value for the location, especially for families.”

“Pretty much a near perfect stay at Manor House travelodge. Location perfect, right on top of Manor House Picadilly line tube. We'd booked a standard room as only there one night, but we were surprisingly updated to a superior room for free and no real reason. We didnt eat there but will when we return sometime. Also all staff we encountered were friendly and cheerful. Bed comfy as well which equals a good nights kip. All in all, recomended.”

“I stayed here for three nights while attending Comic Con a couple of stops away on the tube. Reception staff were nothing but friendly and helpful any time I needed them. They were even happy to keep my bag in a cloakroom while I was at day 1 of the event and checking in quite late after it was over (about 9pm) wasn't an issue. The room was minimal frills, but had a nice spacious bed that was quite comfortable. The shower worked fine, as did the TV, and there's a hairdryer and clothes iron provided if you need it. A bonus point was the nice big window providing a decent view of the skyline nearby. Everything was clean and well kept and my room was cleaned every day while I was out so no complaints there. There is a bar in the lobby that's open from midday until 2am which was good for a nice pint to wind down after a day at the con. There is also breakfast included in the price which is good compared to some hotels that charge extra for it. It's fairly basic standard hotel breakfast stuff but it's certainly not bad for what it is. The bacon in particular was pretty good. Only real issue was that one of the two lifts wasn't working due to maintenance, so the one remaining lift could get quite packed with people, but this was at least warned ahead of time when making the booking. Overall very solid hotel for the price, especially as it's conveniently situated nearby to venues such as the O2 and Excel.”
