β5 stars service, canβt fault anything to be honest and will definitely be back when Iβm in town. Was very happy with the room, location and overall atmosphere. Room was very clean and flawless.β
βWe were so impressed of the staff, the reception lady checked us in early. The breakfast is amazing, overall the foods are so fresh and delicious. Adela was so kind to assist us about collecting our car from nearby mall where we parked. The hotel has a strategic location, itβs surrounded with good restaurants. Metro is just around the corner too. We will definitely come back again in the near future. Cheers, Patrick and Annie Atlanta, GAβ
βMy Stay at Beckenham hotel was very pleasant. Clean rooms, great welcome and good breakfast. I will be back soon.β
βSuch a brilliant centre, thanks to committed, caring and professional staff, and some wonderful facilities and equipment for babies and children. Thank you Karen, Julie and all who work here.β
βbest school ever i used to go hereβ
βLovely kind staff and trusted professionals would 100% recommendβ
βGreat car park, really good location to access canary wharf and surrounding areas. On top of all that it's really reasonably priced. We parked for an evening and it cost around 13 quid.β
βPerfect in every way possible. We stayed in a lovely secluded lodge just beside the river. Lots of wildlife within walking distance and of course just outside your front door. We'll be back.β
βFor 20 years I've been driving down the main road and never have I noticed the entrance to the park until today and decided to visit. Absolute gem in the area! It has all the facilities needed for a great day out from the burger van with hot drinks, playground, picnic area, water sports equipment through to the shower and toilets. There is a fee to pay for entry but not that significant and for what you can experience here it's a fair price to pay. I am very happy that we found another fabulous place to come with a family.β
βMy daughter have been going to middle park since last year and she so enjoys it, they get to go out and about in London most of the time and get life skills that I as a parent could get her to. Sheβs much more confident and mature, she loves the centre, as she call it! The team is amazing as well, and communication is exceptional, when we do go to work I donβt have to worry at all. Well done teamβ
βThis school was absolutely amazing! I went to this school from i think...2009-2015 and when i was there we had the best headteacher ever who gave us amazing oppurtunities, like how i was one of the students that got to interview the band union j face-to-face, he was also very humorous, and of course knew how to disipline the kids -shoutout to you Mr Smith, for making my experience there amazing! Sadly he is not there anymore as he has retired. On the other hand though, in school i did have some issues with timing in numerous subjects, which the teachers failed to realise that i would need extra support and time in exams, but i did not get this which meant that it made a huge impact on my SATs results. Fortunately i now have extra time in secondary school, which will help in my GCSE'sβ
βSuch a helpful garage. I get my old Punto MOT and service done at Raynes Park Motors and they are always efficient and friendly. Today I was driving past and decided to drop in to ask them about a large bit of internal trim in the boot that kept falling off. One of the lovely guys came out and spent about 10 minutes fixing it for me - when I offered to pay for his time he refused . What lovely and helpful people they are!β
βGreat football pitches and changing facilities. Great bar too for after game drinks. This facility offers 3 - 4 grass pitches. Some or them are a little on the slant. Not sure what the price ranges are but always call and ask.β
βRooms are amazing, Staff is friendly, Best Location if you want to see planes flying right above your head.β
βQuite and beautiful place for walking with a baby. Very clean place with benchesβ
βI want to thank practice nurse Persis from Valley Park Surgery and greatly recommend that other patients try to ask to see her if possible. I had an appointment for a blood test this morning and was attended by her. She was very professional and friendly and was super efficient in her work. had countless blood test experiences in the past where some nurses would fumble for many long minutes to find the correct vein on my arm but Persis managed it on first try. It was simply a matter of applying sterilisation swipe, insert needle, and draw away. The whole process did not feel like it took more than an entire minute. So amazingly efficient! To me, what separated Persis from many other nurses I have seen in different GP surgeries in the past was that she was very thorough. She had clearly reviewed my medical records before seeing me and knew that I had yet to book an appointment for another test that was overdue so she offered to do that test for me since I was already there. And again, she was so skilled and efficient. A minute or two later, it was done! Amazing! Honestly it would have taken me more time to try to book an appointment online than having the test done by Persis! Thank you so much Persis! You exemplified what an excellent medical staff should be not through your words but through your actions.β€οΈβ
βIt a big park, i have visited a few times, environment is nice, there are few sitting places available in the park. Many kids enjoying cycling in the park, though there is a kids playground inside the park. The park is accessible, have few sitting chairs but no public toilets.β
βJust back from an 4 day break which turned into a 8 day break. Mark was really helpful when we were trying to set up and along with a few fellow campers and staff they managed to get us pitched correctly in no time - nothing seems to much bother for them. I asked to stay on extra nights and Billy at reception went out of his way to sort my extra nights and I didn't have to move pitch. Visited this site many times over the last 7 years, started in a tent and progressed to a hard top folding camper and now our beloved Hobby caravan. The site really is immaculate, they focus on every detail. Pitches are quite large, shower blocks are fantastic, possibly the best we've used, always clean. Staff are very friendly, they go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect, nothing too much trouble. I was there on my own for most of my visit, the owners kept their eye out on me, i felt relaxed and safe in the secure environment. They are constantly improving the site as we have witnessed over the years. The long termers are friendly and welcoming to tourers. Perfectly located with shops and pubs, beautiful surrounding areas. Booked up to return before we left ! Thanks Thriftwood team.β
βLovely quiet place very close to the Lee Valley park. Common kitchen & room was clean and tidy enough. Perfect for your retreat and a break from your busy weekdays. Friendly staffs and service- thanks to the team :)β
βWhat a great pub! It was established in 1876. The staff are super friendly. They have a weekly Tuesday quiz night which was really fun. Great cider and ale. Restrooms are downstairs, where there is also a cinema. There is handicapped restroom at ground level. Just ask the person tending the bar and they will let you in.β
βVery good value for money. Big rooms with comfortable beds. Location is nice with bars, restaurants and shops nearby. A bit noisy because of traffic and planes, but thats what you get in busy London. It's only 1 hour with public transport to the center of London and just 30 minutes tot Heathrow airport. The staff is kind and helpful. I only used breakfast and the variation an quality was perfect for me.β
βI had a great stay! The location is very convenient. My room was spotless and well kept, and the dinner staff were especially friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, a comfortable stay with warm hospitality.β
βI had a wonderful stay at Premier Inn and would like to give huge thanks to Emine for her exceptional customer service. Although the room was freezing cold when I first arrived, Emine immediately stepped in and went above and beyond to resolve the issue quickly and efficiently. She was incredibly warm, friendly, and reassuring, and made sure I was comfortable throughout. Her positive attitude, professionalism, and genuine care completely transformed what could have been a negative experience into a very positive one. Emine is a real asset to the hotel and a credit to Premier Inn. Thank you so much for your kindness and outstanding service.β
βGreat outdoor lake for a swim complete with ducks and wild landscape. You need to book online in advance and wear clothes easy to change into outdoor in the open on the shore before/after. Would be great if there were open outdoor cold water shower to rinse off afterwards as you do get a bit of pond weeds stick to you; hopefully something that can be added soon.β
βIt's always good to know more about the place and visitβ
βSmall but cosy rooms with high-quality sheets and towels. The staff are pleasant, and the breakfast is very good. The cookies at reception are excellent. Do note that laundry charges incur an additional 20% VAT on top of the listed prices. Also, if itβs raining, be prepared to navigate a few puddles on the short walk to Ealing Broadway.β
βThe ladies on reception are incredibly welcoming and helpful, especially Mika (think that is her name!). Location excellent with the Underground Station next door and several bus routes stop outside. Have stayed here several times and just sorry that it is to close down in June 2026β
βThis is a grand hotel. Impeccable service. Very helpful staff. Very good breakfast. Rooms are very quiet. Bed are grand and rooms adequate. Location is fabulous, as it sits across from Hyde Park. Two tube stops nearby, only a few steps from the hotel entrance. Restaurants within two blocks provide varied menus, which is good since restaurant at the hotel has a limited menu and subpar service. Highly recommended overall.β
βThe DoubleTree by Hilton is conveniently located near Prince Regent and Pontoon Dock DLR stations, as well as London City Airport. Situated right next to the London Excel and overlooking the Gallions Point Marina, it offers an ideal setting for both leisure and business visitors. My family and I visited for a Christmas get-together meal, and our experience was excellent from the start. The entrance is welcoming, with cheerful and attentive staff ready to assist. Opposite the reception is a mini-store stocked with essential goods, though prices are on the higher side. There are inviting breakout areas for guests who wish to work or have a quiet chat, set apart from the bar and restaurant. These spaces are conveniently located near the spotless, well-maintained restrooms. The spacious bar offers a wide selection of drinks, although port and sherry options were limited during our visit. Depending on the events at the Excel, the atmosphere remains pleasantly peaceful, making conversation easy. Comfortable and plentiful seating adds to the relaxed ambience. The servers were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and provided excellent hospitality, with a special mention for Lucas. He took the time to clarify menu choices, which was a thoughtful touch. Guests can choose from both bar and restaurant menus, with prices more reasonable than many other London restaurants. I particularly enjoyed the Cajun wings, and was delighted to find that, in addition to sorbet for guests with dietary restrictions, a delicious passion fruit tart was available. Portion sizes for the main courses were generous and satisfying. Even as crowds from the Excel arrived later, the lively atmosphere enhanced the experience without becoming overwhelming. For sports enthusiasts, there is also a large TV for viewing. Overall, I highly recommend visiting for drinks or a mealβit's a standout choice compared to other venues in the area.β
