“Loria is amazing! I was so nervous for Puss's first time in a hotel whilst I was away but Loria kept me updated and reassured. I was sent gorgeous photos and his mood throughout. Even when booking I was given ample information so that paying was a breeze. And when picking him up, I was running late and Loria was oh so patient! Puss came back super chilled and playful, like there's a spring in his step! We will be back again, worth every penny!”

“Yesterday I phoned because my cat was having difficulty swallowing. I got through straightaway to a receptionist who was kind and understanding and gave me an immediate appointment. At the appointment the vet was clear about the problem, the cost, and next actions and possible outcomes. My cat was treated and we took her home a few hours later. Some grass was lodged in her throat and she had lost a lot of weight. The cost of £275 was well worth it. Thank you so much for your compassionate care.”

“Amazing vets practice. All the staff vets, nurses, reception were so kind, considerate and compassionate while I cried. A lot. They saved my cat with a blocked bladder and gave the both of us excellent care throughout. Massively grateful.”

“Jeanette has looked after our 2 guinea pigs twice already this year and we cannot recommend the Ranch highly enough. Guinea pigs were well-looked after, nails trimmed and even video links of them playing (which the kids enjoyed watching when we said the guinea pigs were staying in their hotel too). Have already booked again - 5/5 customer service too!”

“The first time I reached out to Karolina was over a year ago now, my very nervous and reactive chihuahua (Bonbon) could not be taken on a walk without barking at every person, dog or child. He did not enjoy his walks at all and wanted to come straight back home. With karolina’s help, Bonbon now loves his walks without barking at anyone. In fact, he looks forward to it. Karol is very dependable and trust-worthy and bonbon absolutely loves her! He is always so excited to see her. I can see how much she truly cares and loves animals. “I boarded my cat and dog with Oak Cottage Kennels & Cattery for the first time as our usual kennels and cattery were fully booked. I went to take a look and was very impressed by the very knowledgeable, professional and friendly staff. I could tell immediately that they put the welfare of the pets first. They were very good at explaining how the kennels work on a daily basis. I booked in two trial days for our Labrador and then both my cat and dog stayed for two weeks. I had very regular photos and it was obvious they were both enjoying their stay. I would like to thank everyone for looking after my pets in an exceptional manner. “We have been coming to Medivet Cockfosters for many years now and our 3 dogs are treated with such care. Staff all genuinely love animals and always take time to interact with the dogs first before any treatment. Communication is easy both via telephone or email. We get to request the same vet so there is continuity of care and knowledge of the pets, but on occasions when this is not possible we have had no issues with other vets. Thank you as always to Livia and the wonderful vet nurses at the practice.”

“Best groomers about! I've been taking my little dog Poncho here for a good few years now and honestly always leave happy. Nina is super patient with my (slightly crazy) dog and I always feel like I'm leaving him in good hands. Would recommend this place to anyone!”

“Have eaten in this restaurant a few times always been great. Haven’t been for 4 or 5 years. Visited on Sunday for Sunday set lunch. I didn’t realise they did the traditional roast beef chicken or lamb along with fish dishes. £22.95 for 2 courses. Starters we all had prawn cocktail nicest one almost ever eaten very generous portion size packed with prawns. Roast Beef was delicious potatoes light crispy and fluffy very good horseradish in fact I think it’s the best roast dinner for miles around. Service great. Very impressed why haven’t I come more often I ask myself. Will be back.”

“I’ve lived around the corner from The Boulevard for 20 years, and that’s exactly how long I’ve been coming here. What first appears like a private club behind frosted glass, actually becomes a mid size restaurant, private dining room and bar recently refurbished. Step inside for a proper Indian menu, not some westernised pretend curry house, many of the dishes you may not have seen before. It’s a great menu, the chefs and staff have been here years and they certainly know what they’re doing. And it’s great for Sky Sports too, what’s not to like?!”

He has won his trust and confidence and can now be examined and treated while remaining calm - he is a different dog and Raj a "dog whisperer"!
