“We went to this restaurant for a late lunch on a Wednesday in September. When we entered we were a bit dubious as there was no one else in the place. We need not have worried as the reception from James, who looked after us on our visit, was exceptional. He was attentive without being intrusive. He talked us through the menu and made some fabulous recommendations for us. The meal was absolutely excellent and the portions were very generous. James was an excellent host and gave us some great tips for places to visit on our visit to Bury St Edmunds. Can't rate Amigos highly enough.”

“Amazing, absolutely amazing. Me and my partner went to the wine vaults for dinner on a quiet Monday night and we were the only people dining. The server was welcoming and attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was absolutely gorgeous, we had the focaccia bread and pork scratchings for our starter. The focaccia was baked to perfection, if I had more room in my stomach I would’ve eaten the entire loaf. Four our mains we had the duck and the beef wellington. Both were absolutely perfect, with a special mention to the truffle mash that came with the beef wellington, I would go back just for a bowl. The wine vaults is that restaurant you always hear great things about but never get around to going - but you need to! The food alone is 5 star and the service is impeccable!”

“We had a lovely meal at Bella Italia tonight. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed every part of it. Our server, Ilona, was absolutely wonderful — so friendly, helpful and genuinely welcoming. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better server. The manager was also fantastic — very welcoming on our arrival and he made sure we were well looked after throughout the evening. The whole team made the experience feel relaxed and special. We’ll definitely be back!”

“We ate here for Mothers day, it was a treat. Set menu had plenty of options. Staff were amazing, I have dairy and gluten intolerance and was very much accommodated and they even made me a special dessert so I could have one. The location is beautiful and inside is rustic and very well kept and clean.”

“A few years back this was residents only and not open to the public, however under a different ownership it is now open to all. They have bingo on a Tuesday which isn’t my thing and the participants do not like a lot of noise so steer clear if you’re in a group and not a fan of bingo. Thursdays from around 15:30 is very lively with a great atmosphere and the locals are really friendly and welcoming. Food is good and especially the portion size. The bar staff are amazing especially Kelly who looked after us during our visits. The venue is dog friendly which is an added bonus for me with my 2 border collies. Weekends they have live music and encourage you to dance. The place is decorated very nice, clean and very welcoming. If you a holidaying locally such as Park Deans I highly recommend a visit.”

“Amazing restaurant, staff were so friendly and helpful when choosing what to eat and even fit us in with five minutes before the kitchen shut. Food was absolutely delicious and well worth the price. Cocktails were very strong around £10-12 each. Atmosphere was cosy and intimate. Will definitely be returning to try more of the menu in the future!!”

“I had a great stay at St Benedicts View. I was in town for work and, tired of hotels, tried Ginger and Gold. They have an impressive attitude to customer service, answering my questions quickly. I was greeted at the apartment and given a tour (it has to be seen to be believed). The apartment is very well equipped to a high standard and very comfortable. The whole stay was flawless and checkout simple - they even followed up to check all had been ok. Very thoughtful. I will be back next time I am in town.”

“Our family travelled up to Sheringham, Norfolk from Suffolk on Sunday and we were looking for somewhere to eat for lunch without any booking, which was also dog friendly. Every place we called was fully booked apart from Flavours who managed to get us a table, we ended up having the best meal here of the whole holiday, they also catered for my sister who is vegan. “We had a delightful experience at Bills one evening after the Fireworks display at Castle Park! We received exceptional service from the beginning, particularly from Mickey & Livio (or Livia, apologies for the incorrect spelling!). They were very friendly, & made us feel comfortable & at ease, although we did order from the set menu, with 2/3 course meals, & felt guilty for having the next course at around closing! Despite this, all staff members were happy enough for us to order dessert, & also gave us a free brownie for the consideration! We appreciated it so much & left feeling very happy, so thank you so much for the lovely experience & we’ll definitely be visiting again!”

“Got to Ipswich quite late on a Sunday night but saw this restaurant was open until 10pm! Considering it was around 8pm there was still plenty of people sat in there eating which made a chance from seeing other places either closed or not having anyone dining in! Shared a pepperoni pizza and bacon, chicken & avocado salad which came out pretty quickly and were good portion sizes (the salad in particular- and it wasn’t just lettuce with token gesture amounts of other ingredients!). Our server was so nice and when I asked about the 50% discount Club Prezzo have on atm, he was helpful with telling me which barcode was needed etc. Which meant our total bill came to £27 instead of £54! *Club Prezzo members can get 50% off selected restaurants between now and 10th Oct 2025!!* After a long day on the road, this was a nice place to have a late evening meal!”
