βWent to the new and revamped cafe! Looks greatβ¦β¦and as always we had a wonderful welcome from Shan who always treats my granddaughter and our family so good. We live quite a few miles away but will always choose this Asda branch for the welcome we receive. The food is always great for the priceβ
βCannot praise this surgery enough! The reception staff are always helpful & kind and the Drs & nurses professional & empathetic. Big shout out to Natasha & Lorna who have been amazing this week when Iβve needed some urgent tests and lots of reassurance! Thank you both xβ
βThis GP practice is outstanding, having read the other reviews I wonder if we are talking about the same place. Reception staff are very helpful, polite and kind. GPβs and nursing staff have consistently listened and heard what we as a family have needed to say and given us great care. The systems for appts are good and the online non emergency requests or sick note/repeat prescriptions is the best I have ever used. The reception area is decorated with current relevant information about services and there is even a food bank. The pharmacy next door also deserves a big shout out, efficient beyond words & super friendly. In comparison to other surgeries I have used over the years, this one is stand out the best. If you need a surgery in this area, you should choose this one.β
βCredit where it is due. I received life changing treatment from the most caring and compassionate individuals. They genuinely care for your wellbeing whilst you undertake a therapeutic journey in a safe and encouraging environment.β
βAmazing hospital. We were in the children's area and the staff and surgeons were second to non.β
βOn Tuesday 16 December I had cause to go to A&E at the QMC. I fell down the stairs at home and cracked my head open on a tiled floor in thr hallway. We arrived at 11am and on arrival the reception staff were so professional and friendly. I then was accessed by a lovely lady called Kate. So kind and attentive. I then met the most wonderful person I have ever met in my life KAREN. she checked me over and calmed me down so kind loving and genuine. She has worked for the trust for 46 years and is so professional. Committed and a beautiful big hearted lady. She attended to me right through the day until we left A&E 9 hours later. I had to have a CT scan and the young gentleman who attended to me was so caring. The consultant that checked over the scan was such a wonderful man and was concerned because they found a bruise on my brain so recommended that a nuroβ
βI have moved around a lot over the years and have to say this is, without a doubt, the best doctors I've ever been with. They're all friendly, helpful and hard-working. I always feel like they genuinely care and never feel rushed. The reception staff are especially lovely!β
βI have been at this doctors since moving to Heanor 7 years ago. Some people on the reviews slate Kelvingrove. Why ? This is beyond me as I have nothing but praise for everyone who works there. Very professional run and always seen as quickly as possible. Well done, guys. Much appreciated !β
βAlways quick and easy to get my prescriptions. The usual wait to see medical staff but the staff are friendly and professionalβ
βI have consistently had great experiences with the GPs at this centre. I have found them all to be kind, knowledgeable and helpful. I especially recommend Dr Lacey. I have also never had to wait too long for an appointment, results or referral - this is by far the best GP practice I have been registered with in the UK.β
βSome of the women staff are really helpful, although the pharmacist bloke Mark he is very thoughtful as he knows his job really well and always points me in the right direction of my medication on how to take it etc and he puts me at ease and also he's very knowledgeable and knows his stuff. Top man.β
βI honestly cannot fault Hickings Lane Medical Centre. As someone who works full time, they do their best to accommodate me when I need an appointment or advice. This includes receptionists, nurses, social prescribing staff and GPs. I know not everyone will but I find the app convenient and helpful and when I contact the practise through this I always get a response. Guys you are amazing!β
βI recently had a Mirena coil fitted and was very impressed with the overall service. The booking process was straightforward, the clinic environment was welcoming, and all staff membersβfrom reception to the clinical teamβwere professional and supportive. I would particularly like to thank Dr Ishebeck whose calm and highly experienced approach ensured the procedure was carried out smoothly and with great care. I would highly rate this service βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβ
βPlease can they get rid of the ridiculous phone system I'm sick of calling only to be told I'm cue position 20, it's ok but when I have sat for maybe a hour will they answer it NOT ALWAYS, while some of the Staff on the desk are really nice and understanding but their is always one, while the GPs are only Human, like us they to need time away from the Surgery. Merry Christmas to all at the Surgery.β
βEmployer of the year 2021, partner of NHS to provide excellent clinical care to patients in Nottinghamshire. Keep up the good work!β
βMyself and my sons have used this surgery for many years now. I feel the staff are always courteous and the standard of care has been good for us so far. I think every doctors surgery has issues with appointments due to the high number of patients who need care. I wouldnβt hesitate to recommend Adam House.β
βToday I had my first check-up at the surgery as a new patient, the receptionist was very welcoming, the nurse who conducted the check was efficient and pleasant. I mentioned a concern about my breathing this matter was typed on the screen and after a short wait I saw a doctor who tested my lungs. It was decided an x ray was advisable and I have an app booked at the hospital tomorrow. Very impressed with the care.β
βI registered with this GP surgery in September when I started university. I was unsure about registering due to the bad reviews. The doctors and nurses have been excellent with both physical and mental health. The reception staff are always lovely. Iβve always managed to get same day appointments when calling at 8:30 and it never takes long to get through.β
βGood service from a blood test. Was able to book appt via the GP when I had a meds review by telephone. I usually donβt have problems obtaining appointments, although youβd have to be quick to phone on the dot at 8am and then stay in the queue for however long it takes. If the appt is urgent, the triage doc to will book you in there and then. For those that complain about not getting through, itβs just a matter of staying in the queue and getting the triage doc to call you back. Not all callbacks will be given an appt. : it would depend if it was appropriate or else, the doc will dispense advice instead. Noticed in the local news, this surgery was in the Top 10 for great services in the whole of Nottinghamshire.β
βI was forced to leave this practice after my Doctor of 40 years retired and I automatically moved to different practice. The service was so bad, they would only assess one issue per appointment, and the list just goes on. I moved back to Radford Road thinking it can't be as bad as my current practice. So far it's been fantastic. Doctors have been attentive, listened to me issues, made recommendation, at no point did they fob me off. I felt cared for, supported, safe and really left assured my best interest was in hand. I will me moving my family over to this practice as a result of their outstanding service. The only bad point I would make, and I think this goes for most GP Practice is, the Receptionists don't come across very professional and appear to lack consideration and respect.β
βBy far the most helpful staff I have had the pleasure of calling first thing in the morning. Heather and the team are great on reception and are so helpfulβ
βGreat improvement with booking appointments by phone, very positive change also they is some appointments slots. Still battle to get trough the line at 8am but you can be put on hold in the queue and receive call back when you go on front the queue, much better.β
βThe most friendly helpful reception staff, never had a problem getting a routine appointment. Always available for telephone consultations and nurse appointments. Superb communication.β
βI recently attended cleve Lodge for my flu vaccination, they offered a BP test at the same time which confirmed extremely high BP. Anne the receptionist contacted me and immediately booked me in to see Dr Varghese. Who was brilliant, arranged x rays and different tests which which were carried out by Andrea Bucknall over the next 3 days, Andrea was brilliant too , even fitting me in to one of her other clinics so she could complete my tests . Thank you to all the staff at the surgery for the outstanding service I receivedβ
βWe have been with this practice for decades and - particularly given the horror stories we hear about access to other GPs and lack of patient care - we have always been more than satisfied with the service and care weβve received. Recently weβve had cause to call and visit the surgery more frequently. This has entailed contact with the reception, the phlebotomist and two separate doctors. Each element has shown exceptional courtesy, treatment and genuine care. Even after I was referred to the hospital and so was under their care, my GP helped speed up the appointment process by contacting the consultant outlining his concerns which resulted in a much earlier hospital appointment and a pathway to better health. My GP further contacted me on at least two occasions by phone to discuss my progress with me. So for us itβs well done Bakersfield Medical Practice. We feel very lucky to have you.β
βA reassuring experience at Rivergreen Surgery After moving from Mapperley Top, I was genuinely anxious about finding a new GP surgery that could match the exceptional care I received at Mapperley Plains View. I approached Rivergreen Surgery with a fair amount of scepticismβbut Iβm so glad to say my concerns were unfounded. Recently, I needed to access their services and was thoroughly impressed. Dr Ahmed took the time to listen attentively, arranged prompt blood tests and an ultrasound, and followed up quickly with a clear and accurate diagnosis. The telephone consultation was efficient and incredibly helpful. The reception team also deserves praiseβthey were courteous, professional, and made the whole process seamless. I feel confident and well cared for, and Iβm grateful to have found a surgery that truly prioritises patient wellbeing.β
βI have always had a positive experience with the practice. I have a young son and the receptionists have always made him a priority and gone the extra mile to make sure he was seen usually the same day. Not to wind anyone up - this is good practice for infants as they can really deteriote quickly. I changed doctors after 29 years due to a house move and I have no complaints. Glad I chose Linden and as somebody who knows how hard things are for you doctors receptionists (my mother previously resigned from her role) you are doing a great job.β
βHonestly one of the best Drs i have been to. The GPs are very caring and willing to listen. Have been extremely refreshing to deal with such nice professionalsβ
