βHad a wonderful day last week in this place The food is delicious and the staff so friendlyβ
βExcellent restaurant serving fabulous food in gorgeous surroundings. My son and daughter-in-law have visited here several times before and raved about their experiences, and I was equally impressed. There were plenty of vegetarian options, and a nice selection of cocktails. The restaurant was incredibly busy but service was relatively quick - staff were attentive but not intrusive. I really enjoyed my visit and will definitely be back.β
βFirst time here and we all enjoyed it! Not quite sure why itβs taken me 12 years to to come here! Food and service was good. We will be back.β
βI went in a few days ago with my 2 young children. The landlord was very nice and accommodating of us. Also thank you for the Halloween disco this evening. A great community pub!β
βHighly recommended. Great service, great food and nice decor. We had the afternoon meal offer 2 course. Both had Rump steak, was offered chips but swapped for vegetables, well accommodating. All very lovely. Under Β£50 including two drinks. Was way too full for any desert. Going through a renovation adding solar panels, with zero disturbance. (Nearly Done) Loads of parking, close to M1 and A52.β
βFood quality is great. The menu looks nice and I really appreciate that they do a lovely decaf coffee. However, it's very busy and we were lucky to get a table so quickly. It's got a good and atmosphere, the stables echo and create noise bubbles.β
βFirst time eating here.. Excellent service very attentive atmosphere is very cozy. The food was amazing and so fresh fantastic variety of options on the menu I feel everything was reasonably priced. We had seven different items off the menu two cocktails one pint of beer Β£75β
βTheir barfis are the best tasting in Nottingham in my opinion. A box of 6 pieces costing a little under Β£6.β
βWell this really is a very special pub to visit. Its an absolute gem of a pub carved into the sand stone of Nottingham Castle. Its possibly the oldest pub in England but wasbis for sure is the warm welcome from the staff who are very friendly and knowledgeable of the ales and beers on offer. Lots of great seating inside and out and super fine ales. The beer choice really is very good. I look forward to coming back again soon.β
βThe Crimson Tree is a beautiful cafΓ© with a unique, vintage atmosphere that feels warm and inviting. The service was excellent, and the staff were very welcoming. We had the Mediterranean breakfast, Brioche French toast, and a hot chocolate. Everything was delicious! I especially loved the flavors, though I do wish the potatoes and falafel in the Mediterranean dish were baked instead of boiled. Overall, a great experience, and Iβll definitely be coming back!β
βBest breakfast ever. I recomend this to anyone for the first time in Nottingham and looking for where to eat. Nice vegetarian and vegan options. Great matcha late and chai late. Staff is very nice and helpfull. Also, decoration is lovely.β
βWe love the Lion, the beer is impeccably kept and there are lots of real ales. The food is good and very popular. There are regular quizzes and live music at the weekends. The pub attracts a diverse customer base, a real social mix of ages and background and I think this adds to the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It's also very much a dog pub, there are dog beds available and dog snacks too. I thoroughly recommend a visit to The Lion.β
βAmazing Sunday dinner! We stopped at the Trent Navigation Inn after a long drive back from London in bad weather and were looking forward to some nice hearty food. The Sunday dinner here did not disappoint! One of the best vegetarian nut roasts Iβve ever had and my husband said the beef and turkey were great too! The staff were great and the service was brilliant. Really friendly vibes in a comfy welcoming setting and canβt wait to come back for another Sunday dinner. Hopefully next time weβll be able to save space for pudding as they also looked amazing! Thank you!β
βLovely little craft beer place tucked away in the city centre. Well worth seeking out. Great choice of cask and keg beers from local and top brewers.β
βGreat service Great venue Food was nice Roast dinner about Β£20 Burger and chips about Β£17 Good quality foodβ
βFirst time visiting the Tap N Tumbler. Had a great time playing with my band. The crew looked after us and the sound was top notch. Great atmosphere and beer selection too! Would definitely go back.β
βGreat selection of drinks and the food is amazingβ
βWent for lunch. The cafe was busy but managed to get a table for 3 of us. Lovely views infront of the glass floor to ceiling windows of the surrounding area. Prices are quite high, however this outweighed by the quality and selection of the food. I had quiche of the day which came with a plate full off salad and pasta with a door wedge size of quiche. Well worth the money! Good selection of drinks available with a promot service. The selection of cakes are definitely tempting as well. Will definitely pay another visit l.β
βThe coffee here was excellent, the atmosphere incredible and the personal touches to customer care were beyond what is required. My partner has a somewhat unconventional name and spotted a bottle of wine with the same name as him. As we were discussing purchasing said wine the owner came over and delivered it to us, which was beyond anything necessary for a coffee house to do. We were absolutely blown away by the hospitality and will definitely be coming back here. You've won yourselves customers for life!β
βJust do it You won't be disappointed.. Foid is always good I use this restaurant as a benchmark to uk indian resturants And the inly place i recommend for currys outsude if sri lankaβ
βI recently had a visit to this lovely restaurant with a group of friends. Parking: There is a limited car parking at the front with around 10-12 vehicle space. The restaurant has a very beautiful entrance with a small garden and water like fountain. Food: The food was all of good portion and was very delicious. They even catered and fulfilled our request to make the food a bit spicy. The food arrived in good timely manner as well. Seating: The seating was nicely laid out for our group. And there were plenty of other seats as well. We were provided with a separate room which was big enough for our group. Disabled access. Although we didnt have anyone who needed the need. However, for other disabled customer info, there is stairs which might be a bit of challenge to go to the restaurant from the car park entrance. Price: The price per customer was roughly 25Β£ for starters main and side dish. Excluding drinks. Staff and Service: Staff were nicely dressed and very professional. I would recommend this place to anyone who would like to have the thai food.β
βHaving been staying in the area, the Chequers Inn at Breaston provided a great welcome, Really friendly place to hang out and everyone I've met in here, bar staff and regulars are all equally happy to have a chat. There's three areas, one with a very cosy feel, carpeted and traditional, a hard floor area with a large TV and comfy seating, and a sports area with pool table and darts. Very multi-generational and inclusive, everyone is looked after and canine friendly too! Dog treats available at the bar - woof! Superb bar management too, no one ignored, always acknowledged. Great choice of drinks including non-alcoholic and newspapers also available. Look out for the big teddy bear with the unfortunately grumpy face (hey, it's what's on the inside that counts), who is often dressed up to promote happenings. There's a Pub quiz Tuesdays, and a disco night once a month on a Saturday night. There's also an outdoor area which I'm sure will be hugely popular come the sunshine.. Such a great find this place, very close to the village centre.β
βThis had great atmosphere. Service was also good. One person on the busy bar but his service to who was next was outstanding. Good food served in a timely manner. Great place.β
βOur first south Indian food experience, superb. Great value for money, good service and authentic food, couldn't ask for more. Will definetely be returning and recommending to friendsβ
βGreat sos and tom doorstep. Spotlessly clean as well. Unfortunately the lady that clears the tables has an unbelievably foul mouth and the way she speaks to customers isn't right.β
βThis is a hidden gem, and Tony is an even bigger gem. Our breakfast was lovely!β
βExcellent! I had received recommendations to come here and I'm so pleased I did. They are so very friendly, have great human and dog menu's. I had a toasties for lunch and it came with humour (or colslaw), crisps and a side salad. I was totally stuffed after all that and the food quality was excellent. The coffee is also delicious and strong but smooth. I really highly recommend coming to the Dog and Bear. Bring your doggies too.β
βI never leave reviews really, but honestly I've just ordered a a cheese and bacon meal burger and 2 plain dogs and a side of chips and it was amazing. The burger was of an American diner standard, was absolutely full of meat, sauce and salad, the bun was lovely not soggy at all. The hot dogs were massive and tasty, outrageous portion of chips, shouldn't of ordered a side portion as the amount you get in a meal fed me and my 2 kids. Will definitely order again!β
βA lovely family Sunday lunch was enjoyed by all. A large Sunday roast beef for me with Yorkshire Pudding, roast potatoes, kale, parsnip, carrot & stuffing. Friendly, quick & efficient service. We'll be back!β
βFirst time here (Thurs 10/4/25), but it certainly won't be the last !! What a great little independently run italian restaurant. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. It smells amazing just walking in. Mario looked after us mostly, with the help of a young lady later on. Food is top notch, we had steaks for main course, 1 sirloin & 1 fillet. Cooked perfectly & with a great sauce too. Starters were gorgeous & good sized portions (garlic mushrooms & patΓ©), and the sticky toffee pudding for dessert is just amazing....the tiramisu is also very good. Just writing this review makes me want to go back again - right now !! Thanks Luigi's, we'll be back !!β
