“Went on a Friday evening, very busy with Internet orders. Four staff on, I was served immediately, they cooked my burger from fresh and I waited about 8 - 10 minutes. No problems, nice staff.”

“We came in about 10 minutes within opening and the staff were all lovely. It was getting quite full in there - that’s how you know it was good. We got seated and shared the Vietnamese spring rolls. They were some of the best, the flavour was amazing and they were piping hot. The vinegar sauce with it was so delicious. We then had a beef and garlic pho and the mango jellyfish salad. The beef was lovely and soft, the broth was flavourful. The jellyfish tasted unusual, and it wasn’t my favourite but my partner (who loves seafood) said it was amazing. The prices are also amazing, we got a starter, 2 meals and 2 drinks for roughly £30. I would definitely come here again.”

“I had an excellent dining experience at this restaurant. The food was outstanding – full of rich, authentic flavours that showcase the best of Indian and Nepalese cooking. Each dish was prepared with real care and tasted fresh and perfectly balanced. The service was equally impressive; the attendant was friendly, attentive and genuinely made us feel welcome throughout. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable, making it an ideal spot for both casual meals and special occasions. Without doubt, this has become my favourite place in Nottingham for Indian and Nepalese cuisine, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality food and great hospitality.”

“Great Indian restaurant in the area. We walked in without a reservation and just managed to get a seat! They were at near full capacity. The food and drinks were cooked well and provided as an opportunity to enjoy some good local cuisine. We ordered the Tandoori Rattan and chips to share and we enjoyed it immensely! The service was good and the staff were pleasant. Definitely recommended!”

“One of the best takeaways I've had during my two years in Nottingham. The owner and staff are always very happy to see us, today they offered us complementary chips and prawn crackers while we were waiting as they were a little busier than usual. The food portions are gigantic, always feel full after eating. The menu is very diverse, with lots of different offerings. We usually get the "Create your own box" which is only £8 for a medium box. Will always continue to be a loyal customer here and would highly recommend.”

Plenty of choice available for the cuts of steak, and also vegetarian, pork, and chicken options so there's something for everyone. Food and service is consistently top notch. The side dishes and desserts are also great value Would highly recommend visiting Porterhouse over any chain restaurants!”

“Dont go here as much as I should, but Francesca is a fantastic and very helpful lady. The foods are very very nice and her made to order pizza's are just amazing. If you want to make something Italian in a traditional way that tastes great buy your ingredients here . Very nice indeed .”

“What a hidden little gem and so near to home! The whole experience was amazing. The staff were very pleasant, cheerful and informative. As for the food, WOW! The presentation and the food wouldn't look out of place in a Michelin restaurant, it was that good! Will definitely be going back!!”

“Wife and I went for lunch Friday afternoon, were drawn to the gluten free options. Owners are very savvy about ensuring plenty of options for coeliac (other allergens in kitchen but cross contamination is well controlled and avoided). We had delicious quiche and sandwich with lots of tasty salads and a cheese scone to share, all gluten free and all delicious! They have plenty of gluten free cake too, bought some to take away. Staff were all very friendly and reassuring. Great atmosphere both inside and outside for dining. Looking forward to coming back again soon to support this local gem!”

All staff work hard and we love going. Sausages are decent as well! Not the cheap ones. Prices are very reasonable and they have a gluten free option.”

“Stumbled across this place almost by accident. Well named as if you weren't looking for it you might easily pass by without seeing it. Food was excellent, portion sizes are huge and the prices are beyond reasonable. Only complaint was we were too full to try the delicious looking cakes they had on offer. Guess we'll just have to go back. If you're in the area definitely check it out. If not I'd recommend going out your way to try it.”
