“This is the second time we’ve been to Escape The Game and it’s absolutely brilliant. First time we took a group of kids for an 11th birthday, and this time as a family night out. Everything’s so well thought out and clever and it’s great fun from start to finish. Would highly recommend for all ages!”
“Kris was awesome at our Work Christmas party, we were awe struck, excellent entertainment, would highly recommend.”
“We had ILoveAmp at our wedding after seeing them perform a few times live in Exeter and fell in love with them. They provide the BEST entertainment and the whole team are so lovely. You can tell they enjoy every minute they are on stage. Everyone that came to the evening mentioned how fabulous they were and the dance floor was packed all night. Thank you to everyone in the band for making our day so wonderful, we can’t wait to come and see you guys again soon! Liv & Mike x”
“Sabina has been teaching my 6 year old daughter for a few months now and she is progressing very well. She’s very patient and a great teacher. My daughter really loves coming to her lessons each week as Sabina makes the lesson fun and enjoyable whilst keeping her on task.”
“Such a lovely place full of character and the service is so friendly and know such great detailmon the bears. It is absolutely amazing howamy bears are here!”
“We had a great time at Devon Escape - Amelia was a great host. We booked out two rooms with friends and really enjoyed it! D-Day and Death on Dartmoor, both recommended!”
“I recently had the pleasure of visiting an axe throwing venue in Plymouth, and I must say that the experience was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted by a team of staff members who truly went above and beyond to ensure a memorable visit. First and foremost, I have to commend the staff for their exceptional service. They were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about axe throwing. Their passion for the activity was evident as they patiently guided us through the safety instructions, technique demonstrations, and even offered valuable tips to improve our aim. They created a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, making sure that everyone felt comfortable and excited to participate.”
“Alison and I are so glad that we had Lewis entertaining everyone at our wedding. He had our guests captivated with his magic, and certainly charmed all the ladies. He was a consummate professional and thoroughly entertained our guests. Lewis was particularly kind to our youngest guest (aged 10) and gave her a interactive front row seat to his magic. His show was the starting point for an exceptional evening, and set the tone for a lovely evening that continued throughout our special night. Our guests were pleasantly surprised that we booked a magician and he dazzled them all - table by table. Lewis is a thoroughly nice guy and we would highly recommend him for your wedding or event.”
“My colleagues and I from Dartmoor Zoo went tonight and faced the challenging Rubicon. It was great fun and a considerable mixture of mind-bending puzzles and fun, packed full of clever guises and cute aspects. The mind behind this room is surely a fab trickster and puzzler! :) well done and thank you!”
“Great place for walking and a picnic, great views, NT car park, very narrow lanes to get there so drive slowly and carefully. Good camp sites, restaurants and even a Coop in the locality. Great place to hold a park run too!”
“Miles and miles of paths to choose from. Everything from rugged muddy tracks to tarmac paths suitable for wheelchair users and buggies. Lots of places to stop and enjoy the river or have a picnic. Get out there and explore!”
“Clive (Emazdad) has been an absolutely amazing entertainer. We booked him after seeing him at our daughter’s friend’s party in April (Olivia) and so when it came to organising Amelia’s party we had an idea of who we wanted. Unfortunately we have not had the best year, but Clive was so so gentle and understanding and made the whole booking process as easy as possible, communicating the whole way through even while on holiday! He was so good at the party and all Amelia’s friends enjoyed themselves. I am more than happy to recommend to any other parents who need party entertainment!”
“A great place to host a children’s party or bonding session. My football boys (U8s) loved it last weekend and had a real blast. Thanks to all, highly recommend and will return!”
“One of the best beaches in England. Not easy to get too though if you don't like narrow roads. All I can say is it's worth it. NT car park was expensive, can't remember how much now, as my mind has blanked out all the parking charges in Devon! Only way to stay sane! Sand has a red mineral which will leave your dog Tango'd for days but ignore that, the beach is beautiful.”
“Haven’t been to Cadover in years just decided to go and walk the dog. It’s still beautiful, nice long walk no fuss no hassle. Easy parking Just be mindful of the animals it’s their home we are just visiting too many people speeding”
“If you like National Trust properties, you'll love this one. An interesting house, not so big that you get bored, and lovely gardens. The cafe served fresh food that was way better than expected. A great location with views and walks by the river too!”
“What a wonderful place to visit, it is part of the National trust. It is steeped in History with beautiful gardens to compliment the Abbey and its surrounding buildings. There is disabled access in some areas. On site cafe and toilets within. Disable toilets also. Dogs are welcome but not inside the buildings. Service dogs are aloud inside, but always ask any of the super volunteers who can give you more information.”
“We didn't stay overnight. We had a lovely lunchtime meal. Service and food was amazing. The staff were attentive and friendly.Good value for money restaurant quality and presentation. We have booked again for a family celebration.”
“Saltram is a must visit NT. The house is just wow. Every room you enter is just better than the previous one. The room guides are really happy to talk and answer any questions. The gardens are also really easy to walk around and really peaceful. There is also a beautiful chapel cafe and again the staff were so helpful. One of my favourite properties for sure.”
“Easy to access in our campervan and a lovely warm welcome from the warden on our arrival. A very well maintained site and while the shower block was showing its age, it was kept very clean by the hard working wardens. The fully enclosed dog walking field (pictured) is great - large and well kept with a nice bench and well positioned poo bin, we found the site nice and dog friendly. A quiet site to relax on, we will definitely be back and enjoyed our stay.”
“Lovely little play centre for toddlers. Reasonable price, lovely staff and nice food/drink options”
“Another wonderful NT property with plenty to see. And after closing it turns back into a family home. Amazing. This property is now only open 3 days a week so check opening times before going.”
“A fantastic experience for both adults and children! We had a wonderful time at Boston Tea Party in Plymouth, as an adult and child duo. Everything is designed to make the experience easy and enjoyable, even for tourists who don’t speak much English. You can simply scan a QR code to access the menu, complete with realistic photos of the dishes and detailed descriptions – incredibly helpful! The prices are very reasonable, and the kids’ meal deal is perfect. We had pancakes and smoothies – absolutely delicious! The view from the terrace is stunning and makes the moment even more special. We highly recommend this place to French visitors on holiday in Plymouth. It’s warm, accessible, tasty, and family-friendly. A must-visit!”
“Conveniently located to visit south hams. Friendly helpful knowledgeable staff Clean well kept campsite. Corner shop and garage and pub 5 mins away Basic shop but it does stock vegetarian Magnums!”
“This store is fantastic. Loads of parking, plus the store has spacious aisles and an unbelievable amount of choice and true bargains.”
“Excellent customer service and an improvement to the store. Something very positive has with the Plymouth store as there is a sense of relief. Excellent stocking fillers and gadgets for all. Great place for dog owners as the staff are so welcoming and friendly.”
“The park itself is really nice. There’s a beach right next to the park which is handy. The only beef I have is the roads into and out of the park, they are done of the narrowest I have been on and when you get 3 or 4 cars in a line coming the other way it can be difficult to navigate without scratching your motor. I think a one way system on the roads would be a better option making it safe for everyone.”
“I absolutely love this place. I've been visiting Polperro since I was a kid, and it was a special experience to bring my two daughters here, just as my parents did with me and my siblings. The village is still as magical as I remember, though there have been some updates and changes over the years. One notable feature that remains is the section that discusses the floods of Polperro, which caused significant damage to many homes, including the model village. It's remarkable to see it still standing. The model trains are also still there, though they now only run when you press a button. However, I noticed that the Land of Legends is missing the voice-over parts that used to explain each section, and some of the mechanics no longer work as they once did. Considering the damage everything endured during the flood, it's impressive that any of it remains. I will always love this place and will continue to visit it whenever I'm in Cornwall.”
