“Wow, what a turnaround now the pub is under new management. These guys are putting their heart and soul into making the Sunshine Inn a great pub again. You gotta see it to believe it, and I've been told there is a new food menu coming soon.”

“Very warm and friendly staff. We had an anniversary dinner here while staying at the hotel and they gave us a private booth, complementary wine and the service was just excellent. Food was great also and on time”

“We only had a drink and a meal here, but the food was excellent. There was plenty of choice, including a kid's menu for smaller appetites. The prices were very reasonable, and the staff couldn't do enough to help. They were very friendly, informative, and came to ask us afterwards if we'd enjoyed our visit - genuinely interested to find out if or how they could improve. We were impressed and will definitely eat there again when we return to the Island. The food was fabulous, the best we've had on the Island.”

“The Bugle Hotel is a great place to stop if exploring the area by motorbike. A secluded yet monitored carpark is available. The building is old, and the room shape and size reflects this, but the ensuite and facilities are good, and everything is provided, we even had a fan available for use. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The team are really friendly and helpful. I would recommend a stay.”

“Went in here during a holiday to buy some cider, the man who works there was friendly and helpful. He let us try his own cider even knowing we wasn't interested in buying that. Great honest shop. Great tasting cider too!”

“Had a really wonderful dinner here with my partner. It was our first time here but we were excited to try it after being told of the chain by a friend. They really go all out with the theming and decor, which makes the experience of just being there a lot of fun. This didn't come at the expense of the food quality at all though, which was wonderful - really fantastic burgers and great desserts. The staff were all really friendly and helpful too. We will definitely be returning!”

“Sophie Ryan & Jane were friendly and welcoming. The whole place has a nice atmosphere and the staff would do anything to make you feel comfortable. I was running late one evening and would be a few minutes late for dinner. When I arrived Jane had sorted and Brian made my food fresh. Would stay again”

“I'm not too sure why there are so many negative reviews. I honestly had an amazing night at this venue. The bar staff were more than helpful, door staff were very professional and polite, great drag act (I haven't laughed so much in ages), drinks deals were reasonable and there was a brilliant atmosphere. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Portsmouth.”

“Me and a group of friends came to Eden on Saturday and despite there being a large group of us the waitress was amazing. Bella made sure we were happy with our food and came to check on us throughout the evening. Her customer service skills were outstanding and so was her communication with us. It was our first time coming to Eden and we will be returning thanks to Bella’s excellent service. Thank you for making our night amazing ❤️”

“Just wanted to say a big thank you to the female member of the door staff working on NYE. My daughter had been separated from her friends and a bit tipsy, I had to drive 30mins to collect her and the door staff looked after her and kept her safe until I came to the door for her. It’s a really comfort to know that there are some caring people out there still. Thanks again.”

“The location is amazing. On a warm/hot day you could easily think your in the Caribbean. The staff are lovely, friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much bother. The VIP bit on the beach is the £12 I spent Cushioned sun lounger, table, access to the toilet, drinks on tap and the best "mud slide" on the island! Definitely recommend stopping by and saying hi to Sean and his team”

“Such a fun environment for security are very kind and helpful and are always open for a chat. The floor’s upstairs and downstairs are really fun and enjoyable and really good songs and a really good DJ all of the other stuff are also very kind and helpful. Very wonderful and beautiful place to go highly recommended.”

“Situated just on the sea front on Hayling Island Sophie’s offers great food variety plus big portions of good old fashion pie mash & liquor which is as good as any where else in London. Staff are lovely really bubbly and chatty service great really worth a visit”
