“Did not eat here but what a fabulous view of the Isle of Wight and the coast Excellent atmosphere and very hot when we visited If you are there for 4 o’clock, they have a motorbike meeting every Thursday in the summer and there were hundreds of bikers there. Not once did anybody rev their engines or go over the speed limit and it was all very good manner If I’m ever nearby on a Thursday, I will definitely go there again”

“The wife and I always go to the three marines a proper old school pub with friendly locals good beer. Perry behind the bar is brilliant she really knows how to pour a pint and the carling is real good.”

“Brilliant night seeing Decades Live UK. The Lounge is a great venue, much needed air con on a very hot night. Bar service really speedy and girls serving very pleasant. All in all a great night. The band were sensational!!”

“Decided to try smokeys after eating at Nathan's 2 days before. So glad we did, we at around 15.30 after swimming so we managed to get some bits off the grazing menu. 4 kids had hot dogs £4.99 each 2 portion chips Lattice fries with fried eggs 1 Greek salad and extra Jacket Spud Filthy onion rings --- (so tasty would highly recommend) Brisket stacker 2 apple slaws Tasted really fresh and full of flavour, the brisket was melt in your mouth. Onion rings were really crunchy soft fresh onion in the middle (not mushy processed) and not over cooked! Hotdogs- they were tightly packed with meat loads of cheese sauce. Kids couldn't finish them. Salad - extremely fresh but possibly a little too much vinegar if I need to be critical. Lattice fries very tasty but the salsa makes them soggy very quick. (But still worth having ) not too spicy. Bill for all 7 people was around £80”

“Absolutely fantastic! I recently had the pleasure of trying both the Chicken Doner Kebab and the Chicken Burger, and wow, they were truly delicious! The taste was absolutely awesome, and the ambiance of the place really added to the experience. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better. But let me tell you, the Chicken Doner Kebab is something special. It's my absolute favourite! That crispy texture as you bite into it is just unbelievably yummy. I highly recommend trying it!”

“Attended The Winter Gardens for a wedding reception today. This venue has a great location looking out to sea. To outside terraces and one roof terrace. Fantastic for parties. The food was great, and catered for Vegans as well. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will definately come here again and hear they do a lovely Sunday Roast.”

“The biggest thank you to Claire and her team at the Cocked Hat. We booked here for my Grandmothers wake, and we are so pleased we did. I highly recommend for any function, you will not be disappointed. Claire the manager has been truly amazing from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble and made the whole process seamless and stress free. The spread that they put on was amazing and everyone was commenting on how good the food was. The area we had for the wake was perfect and Claire was so attentive during the whole time. Once again thank you so much”

“Really lovely breakfast at The Fountain Inn on holiday, lovely seating outside, food tasted amazing and well cooked, really well priced. But above all I would like to thank the staff, who were really informative and gave recommendations on were to go around the island! I didn't grab any names, but pass on my regards to the two amazing staff members, female from Hounslow and the RNLI volunteer from up north! Definitely the most friendly and welcoming place in Cowes!”

“Fab lunchtime visit. Had a cider with their super tasty sweet & sour chicken inc rice & peas. Came to about £15 in total. Food was delicious. Really nice people in there too - got chatting away with the 3 ladies who were working, the lad in kitchen seemed nice too, as were the local fellas who came in. Definitely a pub I'd visit regularly if I lived in Pompey. I come to area quite regularly so will definitely be back. Many thanks & keep up the good work.”

“We went as a family group of 6 adults and 2 older children. Mixed dietary needs well catered for. Food was plentiful ( not always at other tobys) Really good choice of food. Adults loved the mini brownie and drink desert. It's a fabulous idea if you just want to finish with with a small sweet something and a drink. A great idea! Some of the adults have been here before and we love this particular toby, the other adults and chdren were impressed with the food. A good way of getting the children away from macDonald's to try something new. Very clean, very attentive and polite staff.”

“Everything I expected out of an english restaurant / pub. We have a good atmosphere, and the fish was delicious and straight to the point. Kid and pet friendly. Just make sure you register your car after you park. I would bring my phone or the guys when watching sporting events here.”

“Visited for lunch with family one week before Xmas 25, Emillie was our host and we had our window seat as requested on our booking. Actually we had centre window with a fabulous panoramic view of Portsmouth. Service was great, drinks arrived promptly and we were delighted to have the mid week Wednesday carvery. Food was delicious, choice of three meats, plus a landscape of great veg and sides. Followed by dessert and coffee. The Churchillian is excellent and we really enjoyed our visit. Not the first time, we’ve eaten here over the years but this was first after renovation. Very pleased with the value, not expensive and drinks are good too. Definitely on our return list. Thank You great service and food.”

“This was great fun, even for the older folk because the lanes have bumpers and there is a free-standing ball-guide which means those who are unable to throw the ball can just roll it down the metal guide. We were a little concerned about the onsite pub as players could land themselves in trouble on the lanes after a few too many pints.....”
