“Had a fantastic lunch there today. Food was really good and the customer service was excellent. We were made to feel really welcome. Even though the team were expecting a large party we were still looked after really well. If you haven't been here you're missing out.”
“Today I visited this place, and “Kanchan Shrestha”served us with her beautiful smile and kind behaviour. She was so friendly and welcoming, which made our visit even more enjoyable. A big thank you to the chefs for the delicious food and sweet flavours! I highly recommend this restaurant for authentic Nepali food — the dishes were absolutely tasty, the service was warm and genuine, and the portions were generous. This restaurant is truly wonderful — from the friendly staff to the amazing flavours, everything was perfect. I’m really impressed and will definitely be coming back! Do check this place out — it’s 100% worth your time!”
“This is a lovely friendly environment and the Turkish food is beautiful, we had the homemade dips. Very good prices with a lot of food.”
“Extremely friendly pub . Traditional pub as you walk in but the terrace bar is like being on holiday as you will see from the picture, good drinks with a good cocktail machine . Highly recommend this pub”
“Came in tonight with a group of 6, service was absolutely phenomenal from the lads, I normally have a hot curry and tonight I fancied something a bit smoother and mild, and I can tell you the butter chicken did not disappoint. The BEST I’ve ever had. Will come again”
“Love this place so much! lovely people serving too and it’s easy on the wallet!! Naveen is such a great host and we always have a lovely chat which makes my day!”
“Great pub, one of my favourites. Even though we have to drive past 10 pubs to get there we call it our local. No food cooked here but have different food trucks roll up pretty much every weekend which dish out some great food which you can eat inside. Some of the best variety of beers ive come across. Open fire, staff are so friendly and welcoming, locals friendly. Board games next to the bar. Just a perfect little gem of a pub. Wish we lived walking distance :)”
“One of the best little known gems in Reading. Whilst the menu is mostly stake, the enoki mushrooms are amazing and should not be missed by veggies. The wine and cocktail list is extensive but expertly curated.”
“Nice cosy pub with a massive garden. The owners and staff are friendly and the Sunday roast is really good, with unlimited roast potatoes but im always too full to have more!”
“New Owners are doing a great job. Really good food, welcoming staff. Very good all round :-)”
“Visited The Six Bells for a Sunday roast with my family I'd heard good reports, what a lovely experience, excellent tasty food, lots of and well priced. People were talking to each other, it was a lovely atmosphere and a great afternoon.Thoroughly recommend.”
“Visited today with friends. Staff were amazing and attentive. Food was slightly late and were were given a brilliant garlic flatbread to satiate us for some time. We all had the double stack burger which all agreed is the best burger and chips we’ve ever had. Would come back 25 mins away just to have food here. £15 a burger too!”
“Lovely small cafe in Henley. Coffee was perfect and homemade cookies was very delicious and fresh from their kitchen. Other pastries was good.Staffs very friendly & attentive. One of my my favourite coffee shop in Henley on Thames.”
“We visited with friends for Sunday roast as a colleague had heard great things about this pub with its new owners. Our booking was for 1pm and we were greeted with friendly faces and shown to our table. There was no menu but, we were shown the blackboard with all of today's choices written on it. There were a few choices if you did not want a roast. After getting drinks all four of us chose the roast lamb. When our food arrived OMG it looked incredible. Large dining plates with a great selection and portion of mixed veggies, roasties, cauliflower cheese and a large (but not football sized) Yorkshire pudding. All this covered and swimming in gravy. The Yorkshire was surprisingly moist and tasty for its size. I am not a fan of the huge ones as they are usually dry and crunchy but, this was perfect! The lamb was delicious and so soft and flavoursome. The selection of veggies were perfect and not overcooked. The roasties were fantastic and with the gravy were demolished with enjoyment. To cut a long story short. We finished our main courses with smiling faces and 4 completely empty plates. Pudding choices were 2 Sticky toffee Puddings with ice cream and 2 crumble and custard. Again four very contented diners having had what we all agreed was the best pub Sunday roast and pudding that tasted like it was home cooked! Thank you Grace and Mike for your hospitality. Looking forward to our next visit already (whenever that is..)”
“What a wonderful experience, excellent in every possible way. Food was brilliant and the staff were kind and very helpful. If I could make babies with a restaurant I would chose this place and not divorce. Ever!!! I will be back and I will tell everyone how much I enjoyed the food 100009 rating out of 10”
“Excellent pub. Staff friendly and helpful. Food excellent. We all had the home made steak pie and it was yummy. The menu is basic pub food, not gastropub pretentious, and it's good stuff. One thing to watch out for ... no parking at pub, so need to use a nearby free car park. Would we go again? ... Very much yes”
“Great traditional large pub, big enough to support live music from a great selection of local bands, and have 3x pool tables in use at the same time. Live music on Thursday's Jam night, come along, have a play or listen. Live music on Saturday's (Double check on Lemonrock just in case)”
“Really nice place! Very accommodating! Got a seat on the bar as they were busy and great watching all the kitchen staff work! Bacon was amazing! Pancakes were great too!! Wanna go back for poached eggs on muffins”
“Great little English pub, no music just talking. Only went in to drink. Had a good selection of beers, ale and wine etc. Staff were polite and friendly.”
“Sit & Sip is a brilliant addition to Wokingham. The craft beer selection is outstanding. I’m a big fan of their paddle option which lets you sample several beers at a great price. The sleek, modern ambience sets it apart from a traditional pub, and their events, like Oktoberfest, are always exceptional. Highly recommend.”
“Great place to pop in for a quick bite, simple food but tasty, cooked really well, very fairly priced. Lots of options aswell such as breakfasts, sandwiches, jacket potatoes. Venue is clean and well laid out, simple vibe but well done. Staff are super friendly and very helpful and we really enjoyed our quick bite”
“I absolutely love visiting your coffee shop! The warm and inviting atmosphere makes it the perfect spot to start our day. The baristas are friendly and knowledgeable, creating the most delightful coffee drinks. I can’t wait to come back for more delicious coffee and a relaxing time. Definitely better quality and taste of coffee than in other coffee shops like Costa … etc. Keep up the fantastic work!”
“Pleasant. We were only here to drink on way to football. We got a warm welcome. A very lovely pub.very clean and tidy. Dogs welcome.”
“We planned our stop here as was 1/2 way to our destination, Weymouth. The reviews are all correct. Gr8 value, nice people working there & coffee & food that was well worth pulling off the well worn track for. We would recommend a visit here if in the vicinity. They even sent me the menus via messenger that I asked for. This made deciding on what to order easy when we got there. Plenty of free parking always available!!”
“Friendly local pub doing good trade on a Saturday lunchtime. Good to see.”
“Came here straight away from the station because bit chill weather and looking for cuppa coffee. A lovely cafe brighten up my day because love yellow colour like sunshine which i was missing on that cloudy day. Takeaway coffee as don’t like to waste my time but explore this beautiful town. They had most of their stuff homemade which is worth to try.”
“Very friendly and helpful staff good value for money been a few times in the past week very impressed. Bacon Bap definitely recommend Lemon Drizzle Cake very nice my Wife recommends the toasted tea cake will definitely be visiting again.”
“A Fabulous place to meet friends, have lunch, tea or coffee and homemade cakes. Whether walking, cycling, driving, you are always welcomed by the friendly staff. Yummy food fills you to the brim, comfy seating to chat with friends. Our four legged friends feel at home aswell as our kids with the secure play area. Sadly moving away from the area means I will miss this place so much. Thanks Sash x”
“A rare find - an 'individual' pub that is not part of a chain but run exactly how the owner wants. Howard is an exceptional licensee - one who brews his own beer on the premises. If you are fortunate, you will be there when one of his 'Secret Brewery' beers are available. If not there are always two other brews excellently kept. Good food, good beers and good atmosphere. What more could anyone want?”
