“There’s not too much to do in crowthorne but if in the area or passing through. I recommend stopping at the good food deli. Upon entering I was Welcomed warmly by Julie and Elliot and I immediately scanned the menu. Very pleasantly surprised when I saw everything being sold was good value for money. Pricing was great for a cafe in this area. Full English breakfasts, thick juicy deli burgers with bacon and mature cheese, sliced meats, hot Paninis, cold baguettes and even specials like the roast pork,stuffing and apple sauce champion the menu along with bigger than normal sausage rolls, pasty’s and crispy lamb chicken and vegetable Samosas. The constant stream of customers, new and returning, confirmed my suspicions that the good food deli is the place to stop when in crowthorne. A nice selection of hot and cold drinks also available Great service, good food that’s a winner to me 7.2/10”

“Basically I start my day with the coffee and I prefer AMT among other cafe. I love the salted caramel and how they make it make a difference. Staff are very friendly and with this new scheme of “bring your own cup”made a huge difference on price also for the environment. I am glad how you guys treat us with NHS discount as well. Overall I am very satisfy with the service”

“This independent and unique coffee shop, has an erray of cakes and pastries to eat, as well as a selection on drinks. Very resunably priced. You can potentially get a lot for your money, however does not have much seating Situated near the Water Tower in Tilehurst, it is really easy to get to. Although there is no obvious var parking available, the No. 17 bus stops are just outside the door.”

“I’m a member of Park Performance at Park Club and absolutely love my sessions! I’ve never been very consistent in the gym until I started doing these classes because every class is fantastic. The programming is always challenging but fun and never gets boring! The coaching is also incredible, the coaches push you to work hard and get amazing results! I’m not somebody who pushes myself easily in the gym but I have already achieved so much doing these classes. I can’t wait to continue with these classes and see the progress in my fitness!”

“I've been visiting this pub occasionally for over 15 years. It's always been a consistently good visit. A wonderful choice of beers and an excellent pint of Guinness. Great atmosphere with a distinctive Authentic English hue. Everyone who passes through the door brings happiness by entering, some through leaving.”

“Stopped at the pub for a drink after going for a walk. The staff were very friendly. Plenty of beer, wine and spirit choices. Wonderfully big garden with plenty of shaded area if needed If in the area again will try to pop in for food next time.”

There are plenty of plant based options, gluten free options etc and they will happily make changes to suit. Full English breakfast again was awesome. “Stopped off on a long journey for some lunch. The staff were lovely and the food was delicious. Really nice atmospheric pub. They even allow dogs with open arms which was fantastic and our collie was made to feel very welcome! Thankyou for a lovely meal and an enjoyable rest.”

“Today at 10.30 I visited for the first time with my husband Costa Cafe in Pangbourne,Reading. We were fascinated by this cafe. The staff was extremely friendly and worked professionally, they were constantly cleaning and serving the tables, the cafe has very nice outdoor tables in front of cafe and back of it. I recommend it to Costa lovers this cafe and I have definitely saved it as a favourite place.”

“Amazing experience with both baristas today - shout out to Vlada! Usually struggle finding places to have milkshakes/frappes due to allergies. The two staff members at this starbucks were so supportive, they washed the equipment, walked us through the allergy document and explained everything through and through! Rare to find such amazing service honestly great employees.”

“Went there to do some work and have a meeting. Coffee is always good, and the banana cake was great also. The most I was impressed it was the genuine service we received the guys behind actually know what a great customer service it is . The only thing I don't like is the car park in there is limited to 3 hours, and it's not their fault. Usually I work on the computer and meetings can take long and it's frustrating to stay with this stress that's why we left other wise I will spend most of the day there as the staff are really nice.”

“Our designated person of service - C-dawg - was absolutely phenomenal. Top tier service. Coming to Calico on a Tuesday night completely redirected the direction of my night for the best. Everyone loves a good karaoke night!”

“We are regulars at Bluegrass, we usually visit 3-4 times a year. Our last visit was a Friday lunch, we have arrived before 12:00, so it wasn't too busy. The QR code ordering and direct payments using the app is really easy. The menus are varied, with lots of options for everyone and we always try to get something else to try out. Through a number of visits, having tried over a dozen of the menu options, there wasn't a single one that we would not like or would not order again. This time we have gone with the Boston BBQ Brisket, Burnt ends poutine and a couple of sides. The portions were huge and all food was delicious. Upon request, we have also been given a food box to take any leftovers with us. The service was fast, server helpful, the premises clean and we are looking forward to call again. I personally like the fact they support Siren, Reading's own brewery and have their IPA on the drinks menu.”

“Festive Feast with Friends at Beefeater, Southcote. Christmas Eve called for a festive get-together with friends, and Beefeater provided the perfect setting. Snagging a table for six was a Christmas miracle in itself! We kicked things off with their starter deal – £17.99 for four dishes. The chicken wings were a tad over-fried, but the garlic bread and halloumi fries were spot on. Mains were a real treat. The chicken burger was juicy, the fish and chips were classic, and the salmon with asparagus was cooked to perfection. But the real star of the show? The mushy peas! Service was friendly and efficient, our server (didn't catch her name, sadly!) kept everything moving smoothly despite the festive rush. Overall, a great spot for a pre-Christmas catch-up with friends. Good food, good company, and good times. Happy days indeed!”

“Me, my wife and my two kids went last night for a nice meal as we are on holiday. We picked the pub at it had some of the best reviews near our hotel. All I can say is we were blown away. We asked for a table in a corner away from others as my daughter has learning difficulties and hates noise and sometimes cannot stay still, they didn’t even question it. They let us sit in the corner alone near a fire. Our starters were amazing and came out quickly. The sticky barbecue chicken was delicious. Then our mains were amazing. My wife and son had a steak and they were actually cooked right! Which is hard to find these days. Then we had puddings and they were also lovely. The manager (I didn’t get her name) was so attentive which is nice to see as normally at restaurants you don’t get much interaction with them. Everyone was so friendly and polite. We would 100% recommend and if we ever come back on holiday we will be eating here again.”

“Visited Reading for the first time. We just wanted a small lunch so wetherspoons suited us as they have a large selection of everything at a reasonable price. Sat fairly close to the window which enabled us to see the River Kennet. Would of sat outside if weather was warmer to get a better view of the river. But happy inside with comfortable seating.”
